Terrible

It is not super streamlined to get these to work with Alexa, and every time there is a firmware update for the lightbulbs the smart features have stopped working completely until it is updated. I would recommend buying different smart lights if you can afford it.

Don't waste your money!

The installation was easy. I just screwed in the light bulbs & put the plug in the outlet. Then I downloaded the application to my phone. My phone was able to identify the lights and turn them on and off. But then about a 1/2 hour later, my phone no longer recognized them. I wanted to turn the the lights on again, and I had to go stand up and turn the light off and on by hand. This let my phone identify the lights again, but it seems that I have to do this every single time. This of course makes this product utterly worthless. In addition to that, the response time between my phone and the light bulbs are exceedingly long. In most cases it doesn't even work. I tried to hook it up to Google home & it won't work. I try to invite my family members, and that didn't work either. My dad has TP link Kasa smart and it works swimmingly. He lent it to me for my house just to try it, and it worked perfectly. I was able to connect it to my smartphone and invite family members and connect it to Google home so I could give voice commands to turn it on and off.

Work pretty good

Be Careful Using with Google Home

You can get the bulbs to work with Google Home for a day or two, then they stop working. Requires total reset of the bulbs and reconnect to Google Home. Google Home support is no help. C by GE informed me of issues connecting with Google Home specifically with the plug. Save yourself grief, do not buy if you plan to use with Google Home.

Because we are both a Works with Google and a Made for Google product there are two ways to link with Google Home. Since you have the on/off smart plug, it is best to set up the plug and lights with the C by GE app first, then link the C by GE account to your Google Home app via the "Works with Google" option in the "set up a device" process. Great when the app works.

Every day I have to mess with the app to control the lights with my phone. The lights did with with Alexa when I first got them but that only lasted a few days so now Alexa can’t turn them on or off. I should of spent the extra money and bought name brand smart bulbs.

Solid but not great
