I'm constantly having to re-initialize the bulbs in the app. Compared to my WIZ and Hue bulbs these are useless. In fact the have been relegated to the bathroom :). It may have something to do with this being a bluetooth blub, but I don't know. Either way, I would suggest everyone to go with a true wifi bulb and skip the hassle.

Make sure you have good connectivity

Hub Required

Great... until you’ve used them awhile

They connect easy and hook up to Alexa just fine. All was great but within the past week now they just keep losing signal and won’t sync with Alexa. Then you have to do the whole process over again. Will be buying different brand for the rest of the house!

Requires a hub

ugh! single point of failure for all devices

I was hoping to use the bulbs and plug in my house with Alexa, but the way these are designed was totally frustrating. Note that if you want to use this with Alexa or Google all communication to the bulbs needs to go through the plug...the bulbs are only bluetooth which you can control with the phone app, but that was not my intent. The problem comes where if the plug isn't working, all your lights are not controllable (if you are counting on Alexa) so you can see the problem there...in 8 days of owning these I spent about 4 hours trying to get them all set up (due to wifi networking requirements) and in 10 mins after setup I had my first problem (Alexa says "light1is not responding") because apparently the firmware update caused a problem with my plug and now my lights don't work...Also, now after getting my plug connected over a 3 hour period where I called support 2 times, the update to the firmware no longer works for my wifi network connection (security) Anyway, I would suggest to look for an alternative...something that connects directly UNLESS you will be controlling these via bluetooth mostly. Very frustrating for my application.
