    I got these, but when I got home they weren’t exactly what I wanted, and ended up returning them.

    These are the worst smart lights you can buy. The don’t stay connected. Randomly lose sync and just plain don’t work half the time. The plug also disconnects like clock work. Leave it along for five minutes and it disconnects. Meaning that if you lights are synced with it they don’t work. Save your money and buy something better.

    These lights are great, I have mine set up with my google hub and haven't had any issues with connecting

    Have to be in the room for app to connect to bulbs

    I bought these bulbs planning to use them mainly with the app and not with Google or Amazon Alexa. Screwing in these bulbs were the only smooth part of the whole process. First of all, after I connected 1 bulb, I was prompted to update the software which took forever. I didn't realize I had to stand 2 feet from the bulbs while updating so I walked away with my phone and the process froze. I had to do the update again. Now here comes the most frustrating part. After successfully connected the two in the foyer, the two bulbs in the bedroom was "unable to connect". After trying a second time, I had to factory reset the 2 in the bedroom which was turning on (8 seconds) and off (2 seconds) each bulb 5 times. I finally got them to work after resetting and connecting. And what do you know, the 2 in the foyer was "unable to connect". Eventually, I figured out that I would need to stand very close to the bulbs for them to connect and work. Um ... what is the point of the having smart bulbs then? I can just manually turn the lights since I am already in the room. Conclusion, I am not sure if the problem is GE app or the bulbs but they did not work for me.

      Hi there Lalaland thanks for reaching out to us. The bulbs that you have connect via bluetooth so they only work within bluetooth range of the device. We do also sell bulbs that connect wifi instead and they are called Direct Connect light bulbs, however if you have the C by GE smart plug you could just position it between multiple rooms as the bulbs connect via bluetooth to the plug itself.     When I bought them I thought they worked with Siri didn’t know I HAD TO BUY A ADAPTER!!!
