    Good product but setup is difficult...

    This is a good product and I finally got it to work as designed! The only reason why I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the setup. I bought 3 boxes and tried to sync with Alexa numerous times to only find out that you have to setup the plugs first, then install the Alexa skill, and then setup the individual bulbs. I am running a Linksys Velop mesh WiFi system so I’m not sure if that contributed to the difficult setup or not. I’m hoping the fix this because I will probably buy more boxes. The price is great!

    The bulbs are nice and put out good light BUT, tend to need to be reset multiple times? Good concept that is NOT quite there yet

      Generally, resetting the bulbs should be the last thing you do after other troubleshooting. If you found yourself resetting them multiple times, please reach out to our Support Team 844-30C-BYGE (844-302-2943) or by email at [email protected]. They should be able to get you up and running.

    These are super easy to install! Only downside is sometimes the WiFi and Bluetooth act up and so when that happens, the lights won’t act with commands

    The bulbs work great connect with Google right away. On the other hand I have not been able to get the plug to work. Google will not recognize it like it does the bulbs.

The C by GE Smart Plug needs to be setup in the C by GE app prior to linking your C by GE account to the Google Home app. The Plug "Works with Google" but is not "Made for Google" like our lights are.     Ok for 3 months, now keeps dropping connection

    When they worked they were ok, responded to Alexa commands, was nice to control via the app. Had them for about 3 months so the return window is closed. Now they seem to lose connection to the plug (which works as the hub) randomly. Not fun to repeatedly go through the setup process. I have other smart light bulbs that work much better. Will be looking for a replacement soon.

    I was under impression these bulbs like others of same brand would work directly with Google home but i had to set up account and control C by GE app

    Awesome low price compared to other wifi smart lights. Just replace any standard size light bulb with these and download the app to sync and voila your done. I have connected my Amazon Echo to it and works perfectly. The smart plug can be used on any device that is plugged into an outlet. Just have it sync to a smart device like Alexa, Google Home, or any other smart speaker and it can turn almost any device smart.

    Awesome alternative to Hue bulbs. The lights are not the brightest, but work extremely well. You do need to have a smart plug bridge plugged in.

    Nice setup, the plug and lights connect well and seem to stay connected. Sadly, they don’t connect to Apple Home kit, but work great with Alexa. Each light and plug can be controlled separately, even though the lights connect to the WiFi, via the plug. The bulbs are also, individually dimmable. The plug is a bluetooth hub for the bulbs. Plug connects to house system via wifi. The GE app is used for setup. I will add, one of the bulbs doesn’t light, but got such a deal, didn’t feel like dealing with the exchange. So hopefully they have good longevity.

    These are my favorite! I have other smart plugs but having the smart bulbs is even better. Plus you can program them to go on and dim with the app.

    I had read that smart plug worked as a hub (it doesn’t) and so I haven’t been able to link these to my smart speakers. Other than that they work great
