The width of this is 14-3/4 wide and is made to fit under a cabinet; not to connect to a ceiling. Therefore unable to use. The one we received is dented, also. Will be returning.

To clarify, all our duct covers are between 13-1/2" and 13-3/4" wide, designed specifically for installation under a cabinet over your range, not to connect to a ceiling.
