Awesome little lens!

Whether you are shooting Full frame or crop sensor, this lens is a must have. Small, lightweight, and absolutely insane image quality. The 16 mm field of view on either full frame or crop sensor is great to use and the F2.8 aperture makes low light photography. Absolutely amazing.

Fun and lightweight wide angle lens

It's great to put something in the foreground and have it blown up. I also love the lightweight, compact form factor. At f/2.8, off-center sharpness and contrast are quite lacking, but that is expected at this price point as heavy in-camera or in-post corrections are necessary to get a normal looking image. Center sharpness is great wide open.

The lens takes great wide angle pictures. I find the images sharp and focusing is fast. Distortion is expected in a 16mm lens as it takes a wide angle. The best way of minimizing distortion is to shoot the horizon at a straight line. I believe most people who complain of distortion are new to photography.

Small Price, Big Results

I like how I can use the hood and UV filter from the 50mm on this lens. Looking forward to using it for astrophotography soon but overall, highly recommend this bad boy!
