I bought this lens about 3 months ago- I have yet to remove it from my primary camera body! It’s sooo versatile. I used to rent one for every wedding, now I’ve finally got my own!

Amazing lens, way better then the 24-70 2.8. That .8 makes a big difference. If you are on the fence on it get it you won’t regret it. Paired with the r6 it is super stable with video.

Love this lens so much! I never thought I would get a zoom lens. I have been photographing weddings with prime lens only but this new lens is a game changer. the only downside is that its so heavy. but you get over it. lol I rented it a few times before making the decision.

It's a great lense. All that glass makes this lense extra heavy. But, it's still a great lense.

Amazing lens! Initially I didn’t like it when I purchased at a local store and ended up selling it. But the new copy I got from BestBuy today is sharp! I think it is overpriced though, but again there isn’t anything that can compete with it.

What is not to love about a high-end Canon lens. It is a little heavy, but actually balanced the camera nicely right where you naturally grab to setup.

This lens is very versatile, and It's great for images and videos. The only concern I had when buying this lens was the weight. Other than that, it is a great lens; it just isn't that compact.

This lens is a beast in every aspect you can think of. For a zoom, the F2 creates such a fine depth of field, and the bokeh is smooth. The sharpness is amazing, so much cleaner than my EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L ver 2. Works perfectly on my R6. I have no plans on getting the RF 85mm f/1.2L or the RF 50mm f/1.2L just to have that extra stop of light). The close focus distance is also such a wonderful addition, you can really isolate someone's face and blow out everything behind them (almost to the 85mm f/1.2 level, but still far enough away that you still want the L Primes). I do wish this was a 24-70 f2 though but im extremely happy with it. I purchased the RF 70-200 2.8 IS as a result of this lens.

This is a one of a kind lens. People like to say its like having a bunch of primes in one zoom, and its pretty much true. It is really heavy, but I never notice the weight when I am actually on a shoot.
