I was at first hesitant on liking this series, but the first season dispelled my fears and left me wanting more. The voice cast is wonderful and their character's interactions make everything about the world of Castlevania feel real and relatable. I highly recommend this series to anyone who has never known about the Castlevania series. This is a wonderful first start.

As many reviewers have already stated, the Castlevania series on Netflix is absolutely incredible for fans of the game series. The Castlevania series has always had an interesting premise to it. Every 100 years Dracula is resurrected and the Belmont Clan fights to destroy him when he comes back. This particularly story for the series focuses on the events of Castlevania 3 Dracula's Curse with elements from Symphony of the Night. They did a great job adapting the game's story and elements into this new series. The bottom line is, if you are a fan of Castlevania, you will love this set. Sadly it is only 4 episodes, season 2 was 10, but it is an effective 4 episodes that will leave you wanting more.

Ah, Castlevania. The bane of my schoolwork. I've played the games for almost a decade, so when I heard they were making a show out of it, I was thrilled. Less so to hear that they were leaving out Grant DeNasti (why does no one at Capcom like to acknowledge that he exists?), but what can you do? If you're like me and have an Internet connection as slow as molasses, this physical release is the best way to enjoy the show. The first series isn't long, less than a half a dozen episodes, but the pacing is good and each characters gets s bit of time to shine. For less than $20, pick it up.

I am a more recent fan of the Castlevania series, getting my first experience with Lord of Shadows and then really getting into Symphony of the Night. This animated interpretation of the world in which Castlevania takes place was done well. Though the series is only 4 episodes long, not at one time did I feel that it was cheap. I actually enjoyed the english dub, the writing was very well done. Trevor is a sass master and Alucard just mirrors and matches him. Juat think of your sassy best friend that you have swear matches with and laugh about them later. I cant recommend this series enough.

I'm a fan of Castlevania. Castlevania 1 NES Game, is one my favorite NES Games. I didn't like Castlevania 2 NES Game because I find it hard. I did like Castlevania 3 NES Game because it reminded me of the first Castlevania 1 NES Game. When I heard about a Castlevania Animated Series, I didn't know what to expect. After watch the first four episodes, I like it. Castlevania Animated Series, part of it is based on Castlevania 3 NES Game. If you like any Castlevania Games, you might like the animated series.

It's actually kind of amazing that the Castlevania video game series hasn't been adapted into an anime before. But it took Netflix to actually turn the long-brewing adaptation into a reality - the first season of the "Castlevania" show is a richly-animated, well-developed retelling of "Castlevania III," although these brief four episodes eventually turn out to just be the prologue of a much longer story.

I love this show! The animation is top notch, and the voice acting is superb. The storyline is amazing. This is by far my favorite TV show I love it. My only complaint is that it isn't longer. A must-have for Game Of Throne fans, anime fans, and lovers of great storytelling done right. You need to buy this!

For those of you who missed this series on Netflix you won't be disappointed now that it's out on glorious Blu-ray graphics and storyline and characters are top-notch not just for kids anymore Netflix has really up there games with this series hope they continue the tradition pick one up today

This show is pretty cool and i liked how they animated the series with lots of action and drama. This first season only has 4 episodes and this copy is just a blu-ray with a few extras. Its about 90min long. But if you liked the game series and storys about vampires with a twist id say check it out.

Great series that takes from multiple games to give a clear retelling of the Castlevania 3 game. Be warned that it is very violent and gory, with intense swearing at times and conversations about bestiality. So definitely not for children or younger teens.

I love Castlevania, so when I found out Netflix had it. I had to watch it. Great show however, my biggest problem is that the show is short. 4 episodes. Basically I finished it in an hour. Other than that, don't let it steer you away. It is a great anime.

This series is funny and very entertaining. There is some gore so maybe not have smaller children watch, but other than that I would recommend it to most people. Especially if you enjoy the castlevania game series.

Warren Ellis makes a sold jump from intelligent (and often dynamic action sequences) comics to give Castlevania a triumphant animated series. It's over too quick. you'll want more. That's always a good thing.

Been a fan of this video game franchise since it began. Awesome to see it brought to the small screen. Breathtaking visuals plus classic Castlevania storytelling make for a fantastic series.

I’m very happy with this purchase! Awesome to have it on Blu-ray and it was a great price. Very interesting series and fans of the game should like this show.

Since i watched it on Netflix, and i know that i have to have it. I find it on Best buy for almost nothing, now am enjoying watching it again.

What a great show! The games are great and this first season is awesome. Can't wait to watch the other seasons!!! Must buy for any Castlevania fan!!!

I did not expect for this to be good, but was actually really good. It is a little short, but I picked this up on sale so it was well worth it.

When I first heard that this was going to be an animated series, I said okay. The animation and voice actors are amazing and extraordinary.

Most people are afraid of their favorite franchises getting the tv adaptation but there is nothing to worry about here. Castlevania does a great job of representing the franchise and bringing it to life. My only complaint is that this season is only 4 episodes.
