This telescope is easy to assemble and set up. The pictures for the instructions could be a more descriptive. The finder scope makes calibration simple.

Works great. Wish it was a little more stable where the telescope attaches to the tripod.

I have zero experience with a telescope. It is amazing how accurate the StarSense app is and how easy find things in the sky. Truly exceptional and really got my kid interested in astronomy.

I am enjoying the telescope, but if I had more knowledge about them I would have gotten the bigger one. Maybe next time.

East to use, great first scope for beginners. Sturdy tripod, a bit shaky so you'll need a solid place to set it up. You'll also need some eyepieces but overall, a good place to start...

We have been looking for a telescope for over a year and found this one which is awesome. The price was great. It was a belated Christmas present and an early Birthday present. Just can't wait till all this rain and cold weather goes away so we can really get out and enjoy it.

Not a well built Telescope. The first problem that I encountered was the box was empty of any instructions. I had to You tube the set up procedure. Which lead to problem number two. With out instruction there is no code for the program that you have to download to your phone. I called customer service and spent an hour on the phone and never received help. As for the telescope itself none of the screws tighten down properly. It is a cheaply made product and not worth the money that they charged. It is a very basic telescope. I am disappointed in the product.

This is a great telescope, we had no experience at all and it took us very little time to put it together and align it. The app is really great at guiding you through the sky and helping you locate various stars and planets. We are really enjoying this telescope, so glad I bought it!

Wildly unstable tripod mount ruins the experience

Optically, this is a fine Newtonian, if a little on the high end of the price spectrum (which I assume is the StarSense software). The software is good, but note that it will crash on the Pixel 6 series of cameras and Celestron still hasn't fixed this problem despite it being well known. They also haven't updated their compatibility page. The main issue with this scope, though, is the tripod is absolute unusable garbage. The mount has play and doesn't securely hold the OTA no matter how tight you set it. What this means is that you will be waiting for extended periods of time for the image to stabilize--especially at higher magnifications. This also means that the slightest breeze will also disrupt your image. The instability overall makes what could have been a great beginner scope massively frustrating to use. This is the reason I returned mine and went a step up to Celestron's Dobsonian versions of the StarSense scopes.

Bought this telescope for my grandson. Liked the idea that you can use your cell phone and the Celestron App to help you locate and focus in on what you want to view. Nice telescope for someone who wants to get started with some home astronomy. He is really enjoying it.

Perfect beginner's telescope. You're up and looking at objects very quickly. The plate solving technology powered by your phone works very well. You can even move the telescope to a different area and not miss a beat.

Good enough for observing major planets around the earth. It was good enough for watching moon and saturn. With the extra filter, my family had so much fun watching solar eclipse. Seems a bit too expensive but you could easily spend 200 dollars for just one science museum visit for your family.
