brought it as part of the deal of the day, great price and look good in my kitchen, works as advertise however after a just few use, you can see scale on the bottom of the kettle.

I purchased this during a deal of the day. It is a very nice kettle for the price and does a fantastic job brewing tea. The tea infuser is very nice and well constructed. The only complaint is cleaning. You can't submerge the carafe due to the heating element and the top isn't removable so it's a bit tricky to wash out and dry. For drying, a tip is to either let it dry upside down on a rack or leave the top open so it's exposed and dries faster to the air.

What can I say about this Kettle, it does everything I can ask and more. It looks great on the counter, has a removable tea infuser, is digital (you can even set the exact degree )and programmable which make this kettle a home run!

This kettle worked great for 11 months. Temperature control settings were fantastic and have completely spoiled my family to plain boiled water from the stove. However, after 11 months of normal use the kettle simply stopped working. It lights up and sets temps as usual, but no longer heats up the water at all. I reached out to the Chefman company since it's still under warranty (3yrs allegedly) and have yet to get a response from them although they "guarantee" responses within 24-48 hours. Very Disappointing!

There is a very expensive tea kettle out there that does it all. Programmable temperature and a tea infuser that automatically submerges for the right length of time. This kettle has all the temperature programability, but you have manually put the tea in the pot. For a fraction of the cost, I'll do the manual method. The temperature overshoots a bit. The temperature showed about 200F when the water was already boiling, then caught up. For black tea, they recommend 212F (boiling). I would use 205F instead. This will bring the pot to a boil (or nearly) and then hold it at 205. Perfect in my book. Not really designed for a cup or two of tea, this is really more for a big pot of tea (or a big pitcher of iced tea). If you aren't a tea fanatic, just buy a boiler without the programability (this brand or another).

This thing heated up to 190 Degrees in less than 5 minutes! It lights up a cool Blue color while it is heating and then the light turns off once it is done. It is perfect for the office or any home setting! Wonderful!

Loved this kettle until it suddenly stopped working. All the lights go on but the water doesn't heat. Best Buy won't refund or replace because it is past the Jan 15 deadline for holiday purchases. It's one thing that the US doesn't offer consumers the basic protections available in other countries; it's another when a major retailer that is totally dependent on reputation for service FAILS to ensure that it is selling quality products that will last. #DisgustedwithBestBuy
