I am in deep fried heaven. I have owned several fryers over the years, from the simple fry daddy's to Emeril's flash fryer to T Fal digital top-of-the-line models. Dollar for dollar, this fryer works way better than any other I've used, hands down. Heat retention and temp control are key to crispy, light, and non-greasy food. The oil heats to the proper temp in about 20 minutes. After food is dropped, it only takes about 2 minutes to get the temp back up. The see-though lid is notched so that the fry basket can be raised and lowered or "jiggled" around with the lid on. The well is large enough to hold 2 small baskets or the one large basket but uses only a gallon of oil. It lifts out to pour out the used oil for straining or disposing and for easy cleaning ( once cooled of course.) The controls are simple to use.

Holy fried foods. I can't believe how big this thing is. It's truly the best deep fryer ever. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's like, massive. Puts my old one to shame. I don't always fry foods, but when I do, this one will do the job. It will even do two jobs at once, since it holds two small baskets or one large one. If you are looking for a deep fryer, you can't go wrong with this. It's pretty simple to operate.

This is the perfect size for small frying. I love the timer and temperature settings. It is easy to clean when finish. It comes with a big basket and two smaller baskets which makes it easy to fry different foods at the same time. Perfect size for my small family

I love that there is a temperature level option. I also love that there are two baskets bc you can cook a good amount of food. Good fryer for the price.

I bought this deep fryer to replace my Fry Daddy deep fryer that I had for years but it finally stopped working. Love the size and that everything is removable which makes it easy to clean. Would have given it 5 stars but I just got it and have only fried chicken wings and fish. Oh and frying the fish didn't leave that fried fish smell in my house which was also a nice perk. 4.75 stars for sure.

I am happy I purchased this item, because it is easy my 17 year old to use without burning himself. The item is as big as the picture on the box. I recommend it to all.

Easy to set up and use. The food tastes great. Takes some time to clean up, just because of the time it takes for the oil to cool.

My wife was looking for a large fryer with two baskets. I saw this one on the deal of the day and purchased it. I works great and heats up quickly. Perfect for cooking two items at the same time without one getting cold while the other one fries. Love it!!

My son who is now living on his own asked for a deep fryer for Christmas. I was pleasantly surprised on the size of this deep fryer and how much he can fry at one time. Very happy customer!!

We bought this to upgrade our small Cuisinart deep fryer that we used in our old apartment. This deep fryer is 3x that size and 3x more powerful. It heats up oil super fast and we love the controls that it offers. The biggest plus is being able to remove a ton of components and wash them individually. (the oil pan, the heating elements, the baskets, etc.) Our last unit was limited in that u could only wash the baskets really. In addition, this unit comes with 3 baskets. 2 are side by side and 1 large basket that's the same size of the deep fryer. Definitely pleased with this buy and we'd highly recommend it.

I love frying. This deep fryer just came handy. Don't have to worry about oil spilling and burning. I think it's a bit faster than the frying pan.

The large basket allows for family size portions, and heats quickly, and fries crisp.

It serves it's purpose, fries everything very well just a little difficult to clean very well. But we like it, makes good food.

I love my fryer! It is really nice and big and I really like the feature of the two smaller baskets so I can do two things at once. The only funky thing is that you have to turn on the timer for the fryer to power on. When the timer dings, it will start cooling down. Its nice so it doesn't stay on forever, but not if you arent paying attention!

This is a great fryer with the ability to control the oil temp. We have used it twice and it's very quick! The oil does NOT lose temp when adding frozen food and quickly recovers to get the food done to perfection! The only "odd" thing is that the outer compartment is a shell with a hollow bottom! You can look straight thru! Just scared of spilling oil while storing. Great fryer for an awesome price.

Love this fryer, I had the fry daddy and it was small, took forever to get the food fried while keeping the family at bay.. The Chefman deep fryer allowed me to cook fries and shrimp, serving everything at once. This is great for fried chicken! Easy to use, easy to clean and store.

Heating mechanism doesn't work properly. The manual states it should light up when you plug the unit in. It doesn't. Then turn unit to desired temperature and when hot the green light comes on for ready to cook. It doesn't. You have to turn the temperature switch (and) the (timer) switch on for it to start heating. I called the manufacturer and she said take it back. I took it back got another one. Same thing. Except this one the heating mechanism workmanship is poor. I tried it once. Still does not work properly. Once the timer goes off the entire unit goes off. The timer is only to tell you your food is finished. You should not (have) to turn on the timer to make it work. But if you can put up with that, it is a large fryer and good for the price. I'm debating whether or not I will take it back. The manufacturer didn't sound too interested in the problem, so why should I.

Good fryer for the price. Comes with a large basket and two smaller ones. Have been using for almost 6 months now and have not had any issues with it.

Every year I add an event/activity to the 4th of July weekend party. This year I decided to go with the Chefman Deep Fryer. I found a recipe for onion rings (thinly sliced, soak 1hr in butter milk, batter in King Arthur Flour, Fry and salt) I think i went through a 100 onions.....
