Set up was simple. Range increased and I really like that is is compatible with Alexa. The ring chime plays through Alexa on the second floor so I can hear the doorbell.

The Chime Pro enhances the connection to the doorbell from your router. Very easy set up in app! Speaker on it is loud so you are able to hear from anywhere in your home.

We purchased several Ring products and installed at my mother in laws home. We were having difficulty getting the floodlight signal with the placement of the light relative to the router so we added the chime pro and every thing came together perfectly afterwards. The signal is strong and it is secure. Probably one of the best features of this little plug in device is that it has a volume control with it that can be turned up quite loud so she has no issue hearing it thru most of her home. It was a great addition to complete this project to her satisfaction and our peace of mind.

I was having issues with my Ring doorbell (most of the time I was receiving videos, but there was no content only a black screen). I called Ring customer service and was advised that the problem may be due to my Wi-Fi signal. The rep recommended the Chime Pro Wi-Fi Extender (which I was skeptical at first), but after installing it I now am receiving actual video footage from my Ring doorbell. The Chime Pro-Wi-Fi extender really does make a difference. (Also, prior to my purchase I looked at the Google Wi-Fi extenders, but the price range was $99 - $259).

I'm satisfied with this product. It helped to enhance the quality of the wi-if for my ring along with giving me a variety of sounds to pick from.

This allows my ring doorbell to be heard in the basement of my house. Words perfectly with the doorbell and was easy to install.

We purchased a Ring doorbell and needed a wi-fi extender and chime to make it work properly. It was easy to set up. Works great.

The Ring Camera my folks had signal was not getting the full wi-fi, and this device was the perfect bridge. Only annoying thing in the setup is you have to change the Ring Camera to point to the Wi-Fi extender. However, once that is done it extended the signal and fixed the drops and made the whole thing just work without needing to do anything crazy. The addition of another chime in the house to is also a nice bonus. Overall I found this to be the perfect thing if you need to boost the signal of your Ring device.

A must have with my Ring Doorbell 2. Doubles as a wifi range extender. Easy to setup and there are a good variety of chimes to choose from.

This provides a review of my purchases for a “Ring” system: Orbi AC3000 routers (3 units), Ring Doorbell 2, Chime Pro, 2 Floodlight Cams, doorbell install, and home Wi-Fi setup. I will review the individual components which were mostly quite good. However, their merits were masked by systemic weaknesses in the Best Buy system for communications and project management: Communications: I didn’t know the Wi-Fi consultant was scheduled until he called to confirm his appointment the next day. No one from Best Buy ever told me about the schedule for the doorbell install consultant’s schedule so I did the work myself. Project Management: You sold pieces that were supposed to become an integrated system but there was no integration planned for or provided. You don’t have an electrical contractor on staff so the Wi-Fi was installed before the floodlight cams could be tested. This proved to be a small problem, presumably because of the masonry construction of my house.

Good doorbell chime and with Ring doorbell camera you can monitor traffic before they ring your doorbell. Easy to install to Ring devices.

This is a nice companion device to our Ring Pro. It repeats our Wifi signal wherever it is placed and the sounds are easily heard throughout the house.

Works very well. Adjustable rings and good volume range ensure it can be heard throughout the house.

This extender has made all my ring items work better and it was easy to set up. More modern piece would be nicer looks very simple.

We have a Ring Spotlight Cam that runs on batteries and we hooked the Ring Chime Pro to the Spotlight Cam above our garage. It not only gave our Spotlight Cam a better signal, but when we bought a new router, it was so nice & easy to change the the WiFi router to the Ring Chime Pro and not have to climb the ladder to the Spotlight Cam at the garage. Definitely recommend the Ring Chime Pro
