I used to travel for work. These mugs can, if locked, be thrown into a bag with papers or laptops. I have NEVER had a problem with the auto-seal lids leaking, even in planes, where the pressure changes. The lids on the inside are mechanically designed for easy cleaning. But, I recommend rinsing them as soon as possible after consuming and beverages with milk or milk alternatives. The reason that I threw away other travel mugs, is that the drinking hole gets gross; that is not a problem with this mug. Cleaning is easy. I unlatch the lid and place the lid and tumbler in the dishwasher. (See picture of the auto-seal lid below that I have owned for years. Notice the daylight coming through the drinking hole. EASY CLEANING! ) The auto-seal lids also have the same diameter, whether you are using the 10, 12, 16 or 20 oz sizes. It's easy for storing in your home, if you have more than one. Is an nice cup easy to use work exelent for coffee or tea

This product is convenient and practical. Love the size and shape. Easy to hold and won't spill at all. I can drop it in my purse or diaper bag with no danger of a spill. My sister drops one in her briefcase and says it's still nice and hot when she sits at her desk.

We really like the West Loop Contigo Travel Mug. There are lots of varieties out now and the design changed slightly over the years. We love ours so much so, that we've bought a few as gifts. My only complaint is the sip hole was made smaller on my newer model. Wish they wouldn't have done that, but still a good spill proof travel mug that keeps liquids hot/cold for hours!! You won't believe how long! Also, my husband's lid started to leak after several years of use, and the company mailed him a new one!! Can't beat Lifetime Warranty!!!

I truly love this cup. It keeps my tea hot for hours. It's easy to clean and I love the color. It fits perfectly under my Keurig and just all around a very good and durable cup. I would definitely recommend this cup for someone who makes hot drinks, but doesn't always get to drink it all in one setting. It will keep it hot for up to 3 hours based on my knowledge and trials. I love the safety lock feature. A great thing to have when you have curious kids who like to pick up your cup and drink without asking (lol)!

I had a coupon for $5 which made this cup cost $5 for me out of pocket. It’s a great non-spill cu that is worth the $10 price. I think this would not be a good cup for an older person because it takes a bit of strength to push the button to open the hole to drink from. Great for shaking up liquids if you need to do that. Keeps my coffee hot for a longer period of time.

This travel mug was a great buy for me. No leaks since I purchased it and it keeps things cold as advertised. I filled it early in the morning of a very hot and humid day with ice and water. I drank all of the water and left the mug in the car all day and there was still ice in it when I got home that evening. Highly recommended!

This tumbler is the best. Coffee stays hot for several hours. Water stays cold all day. The drink flow is much greater than a regular water bottle. AND... It doesn't ever leak! I love it. I bought several more and have purchased several as gifts.

I was looking for a nice medium size coffee container that I didn't have to constantly open or close. This Contigo allow me to push a button to dispense the liquid! Then I can lock it if I am travelling. PERFECT!

The mug is fantastic! Description states, "keeps beverages hot for up to 4 hours" but I tend to find its quite a bit longer than that. I can't attest to the spill proof claim as I have yet to tip it over. Definitely worth every cent!

I like this Contigo - 16-Oz. AUTOSEAL West Loop Stainless Travel Mug because it seals perfectly and does not leak. But it's also easy to clean due to an ingenious mechanism in the lid that allows you to pull back the internal sealing mechanism before loading it into the dishwasher. Holds hot or cold well for several hours and is especially nice for the car. No worries about it leaking on your favorite shirt as you drive to your next meeting... and the body is metal, not plastic. What's not to like?

Love this mug because whether you have something cold or hot, the mug keeps the right temp for quite a while. I had it in my car, and it toppled over, and it didn't leak. The downside: it didn't fit into a standard automobile cup holder like other travel mugs, so now I use it for work, not for car travel.

These are simply the best travel mugs made Barr none. The only flaw that they had was being able to clean the lid, the latest version corrected that :} I use these hot or cold. They will keep ice for hours in the sun and don't think your morning Joe is cold because you forgot it for an hour or two, because it still may be piping hot. They seal to perfection no drips or seeps the lid even locks to prevent accidental opening. These are one of my go to gifts for any occasion, I prefer the metal ones but the plastic are nearly as good.

It really keeps my coffee hot a lot longer than regular to go cups with a lid. And it doesn't spill. And it fits in cup holder.

It is really hard to spill liquids out of this and keeps drinks very hot and very cold for long periods of time!!! Excellent!

You really can't go wrong with Contigo beverage containers. I like the color and it's light weight. It holds a hot beverage for at least a good couple of hours as long as you remember to keep the top closed. I had one sitting in the car because I forgot to bring it into work and when I went to the car to get it a couple hours later, my tea was still pretty hot!
