Customers are saying

Customers love the Hydro Series 120mm Liquid Cooling System's excellent cooling performance and ease of installation. Many appreciate its quiet operation and good value for the price. While some users experienced issues with the pump or pre-applied thermal paste, the positive feedback on cooling and ease of use outweighs these concerns. The system's compatibility with various systems is also frequently praised.

    Worked, but ultimately disappointing

I had high hopes for this - it gets good reviews, and it's very popular. Unfortunately, it just didn't live up to my expectations. I guess it's a good cooler for beginners, but I knew I was in for a disappointment when I opened it up and saw the pre-applied thermal paste. I scraped that off to reveal a poorly polished copper base. Fine, whatever. I cleaned it up and applied my own paste. Installation was easy. But the dealbreaker was when I turned it on. The fan idles at about 1000rpm, which is easily loud enough to be heard over every other fan in my system, and the loudest noise in a quiet room. I might have been able to deal with the fan noise, except it wasn't even a smooth sound; it had a sort of thrumming noise when you listened closely. Ultimately, it was completely inappropriate for a quiet desktop system. On top of that, it didn't provide cooling that was any better than a solid air cooler. I ended up switching this out for a Noctua air cooler, which idles at 600 rpm, and cools just as well.

Set it and forget it. These systems work very well and I have yet to see one fail. I have installed over 20 over the years.

Awesome cooler I bought this to replace my AMD wraith cooler that came with my CPU because I thought the temps were too high and long behold using this water cooler drop my temps by about 40°. Which is a win in my book

Cheap, easy, and blows! Can’t ask for much more than that! Wish she was pretty but you can’t have everything in life... I think you can get RGB if you pay more. I recommend if you want to keep your CPU nice and cool.

Big Upgrade Over Stock Air Cooler

Does a great job of keeping my i9-10900k at 30°C at idle, in a SFF case. I'm definitely impressed with the upgraded cooling I've had with this, over the stock air cooling that came in my pre-built Dell workstation.

Does the job Temps stay under or around 50 degrees under most loads. If you're deciding between this and say an h100 however get the larger one, just looks cleaner in the case and offers a little better cooling.

Good cooling system for those who need cooling and not RGB lightning. Use it for moderately hot CPUs and it only has 120mm grill. Good alternative for those monstrous air cooling fans

It's a great product for the price. Installation was a little annoying using it on my I9 10850k purchased at the time due to impatience and budget. will likely upgrade to a larger unit in the near future

Does the job! Replaced an aging AIO in a compact build to get those temps dropping back down to an acceptable range. Good value if you are pressed for space and can’t go bigger than a 120 rad

The unit installed easily. The only drawback is that it was used to replace an existing unit. However I am not sure how old the previous model one was, but this resolved any problem we had.

I am replacing one I purchased 7 years ago, the old one was so clogged due to not cleaning the radiator and probably wouldve lasted longer but decided to just get a new one. it is a excellent way to cool the cpu instead of using air

It’s better than the stock fan but still, I would of loved a two fan set up but that’s me. No pump noises yet and it keeps it cool. Wish the logo was glowing but again that’s just me. If you’re on a budget then yes. If you can spend a little more than look at Corsairs other AIO

Everything is good, used for my new refreshed Alienware R10 desktop. The factory air cooler of R10 is loud. However, by replacing it to use this amazing liquid cooler, the pc is very quiet now.

The total install time took me roughly 7 minutes. My CPU with a standard CPU fan would always rest around 46 degrees. After adding this, it rests around 31, and maxes out around 42 under heavy stress.

I got this only because the CPU I got didn't come with a stock cooler. Works well, at least the heat from the CPU isn't circulating around in the case and pumped out instead.

I rate this thing 4.99999 out of 5 The only thing I changed was the stock 120mm fan. It can be loud. I switched it out to a Corsair SP120 Red LED fan which is whisper quiet. Amazing upgrade to my mini-ITX system. Fully compatible with intel and AMD

So when I OC’d my CPU it kept crashing. It was reaching temps of 90c! I got this lil guy, installed it and now my cpu is running at 40c while gaming modern warfare full at 4K full graphics. This worked wonders for me!

This liquid cooling system works great and keeps my cpu cool. Never had a problem with over heating. Only complaint is the directions to attach the fan to the radiator. The box shows it set up one way and the directions show another but the way the box shows it is impossible with the size screws given .
