Customers are saying
Customers love the Hydro Series 120mm Liquid Cooling System's excellent cooling performance and ease of installation. Many appreciate its quiet operation and good value for the price. While some users experienced issues with the pump or pre-applied thermal paste, the positive feedback on cooling and ease of use outweighs these concerns. Not for beefy cpu's
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have anything beefy such as an i7 7700K do not use this AIO cooler. Even with double fan pull/push config it doesn't offer much considering 7700K is one of its hottest brethren. Especially if you plan on overclocking, go with one of the larger double fan models that can actually handle such stress.

Posted .Sorry this wasn't working as expected. I will have to agree with you and not recommend this specific unit if the plan is to heavily overclock a beefy CPU; for most any other CPUs and moderate overclocking then this will work wonders. If you have any issues with this cooler, or another of our products, please contact us at 888-222-4346 or submit a ticket at support.corsair.com

Check to make sure you're getting the right one
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Buyer beware for what cpu socket you have. I have a AM4 and the box said it supported it, but it needed a bracket that did not come included in the packaging. It did however fit my brothers rig, so money not wasted. Good cooler though.

Posted .Hi Gerald,
AM4 mounting requires the original backplate and stock brackets that come with your motherboard. If you did not have those, you would need to contact your motherboard manufacturer for them.

Over kill
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn’t get to use it with my Ryzen 3700 the stock cooler was plenty even running at a 70% load in my build. Maybe for someone doing heavy video rendering or photoshopping I can’t think of anything more cpu intensive games use the gpu

No quality control dried paste, old model
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the Corsair 2013 edition that has been discontinued since 2017, It is now 2021 and you guys are selling the cooler for more then the launch price back in 2013. The cooler has been sitting unused for at least 5 years their is fluid loss and the anti corrosion stuff in the fluid fails after 3 years and the pre applied thermal paste was dry and unusable. I thought I was getting a H60 V2,

Posted .Hello Jordannicoli,
Thanks for the feedback. For such a heavy performing CPU, we'd recommend one of our larger offerings such as the H100i or H115i Elite Capellix cooler. If you have further questions about cooling, please feel free to reach out to our support team: support.corsair.com
