Disclaimer: I bought this as a temporary cooling solution, as I intend on building a custom loop. Plus, I needed something quickly, it was in stock, and it's Corsair. Installation was a breeze on an LGA2066 Core i9-9900X motherboard/CPU. Comes with all the hardware required for push, pull, or both configuration for attaching the radiator to fans/case, plus integrated thermal compound (which I replaced). I attached the radiator to my existing case front fans (Corsair Crystal 570X). Performance is excellent. I ran Prime95 torture test for 40 hours straight on all 10 cores/20 threads, and CPU temps never topped 70C. Idle temps are half that. Fan speeds never went above 1100 RPM, so it's whisper quiet even under full load. Pump RRM was about 2000. Not sure if that varies or not. There are three things that stand out as less than optimal, but not really deal breakers, even though I plan on replacing it. The RGB is for the pump cover only (which is what sits on top of the CPU). Unlike other models, the fans are not lit. For me it didn't matter, because I am using the case fans. But something to keep in mind - 2 RGB fans would cost another $50 or so, depending on model. The orientation of the cover can't be changed. Since the tubing and USB port are fixed, it may be difficult to install with the Corsair logo oriented properly. Again for me, not a big problem. It still looks cool lit up, but it's upside down. That was the best orientation for the USB cable and tubing for the radiator position in my case. Lastly, even though internal USB 2.0 headers support 2 ports (usually via split/dual cables) the cable provided has only 1 plug. For motherboards with multiple USB 2.0 headers, shouldn't be a problem. Mine only has 1 though (the other 2 are USB 3.1 which is a different footprint), and I have another Corsair RGB controller that also requires a port. Bottom line is it's a great cooler, more than sufficient for punishing loads on a 20 core CPU, with some RGB lighting. If you have a beefier CPU like a 36 core 9980X or a Ryzen Threadripper - you might want the 360mm 3 fan version.

    Keeps up

I have this on my brother's system with an 8086k that's overclocked to only 4.8ghz but with low voltage, a mild overclock. This h100i more than keeps up, but I don't know how well it would do with a higher overclock. Still it keeps the CPU more than cool enough. This uses the regular ML120 2400rpm fans that have a higher static pressure rating. This newer version should beat the snot out of the older version because it has much better fans. These fans should outlast this cooler. The only complaint I have is with mounting the waterblock. Sometimes if I spin it the wrong way when I'm mounting these newer Corsair cooler with the Asetek Gen6 pump, the mounting bracket on the block will come off...... at this point I have to redo everything including the TIM application. Despite the higher price this cooler does pack a punch and it can cooler most CPU's that have a mild to moderate overclock. Usually these 240mm AIO coolers fit into most cases. I have this in an NZXT Phantom 410 that I bought when it was popular back in 2012. If I had a choice, I would gladly pay the extra $20 or so for the h115i, since those 280mm AIO coolers are beating these poorly made 360mm AIO coolers. As of right now, all these 360mm AIO coolers are poorly made. I have the EVGA clc280 and nothing beats that, not even my h150i and Floe Riing 360.

I purchased this cooler because the stock cooler on my i7-8700 was letting the temps reach up to 82c and I was not comfortable with that. After the install of this cooler my temps never reach above 47c and even at that temp the fans are very quiet. The Corsair icue software that controls this AIO cooler is very easy to use and lets me adjust fan and pump speeds and also the color of the water block. This is by far my favorite upgrade I’ve done to my pc. Also installation was a breeze considering I had never installed a heat sink or any kind of cooler myself before. Thermal paste is pre applied to this cooler making life even easier. I’m extremely satisfied with the look and overall performance of this cooler.

I am currently using this in my PC streaming build and it is beautiful. I do have to point out that the only thing that is RGB is the pump/logo that sits on the CPU. I will be buying new hydrostatic fans with lights to replace the 2x plain fans on the radiator. The logo on the radiator itself is a nice touch. I'm using Corsair's ICUE software and cannot see any way to sync lights/pattern on the cpu cooler with the ones on the vengeance ram (also corsair) unfortunately. This is kinda a bummer to me but not a deal breaker. There's probably a way to do it, but i'm not seeing it. A bonus is that you can control the fans/pump speeds via corsair's software.

I have zero regrets in purchasing this CPU cooler. It kicks the crap out of my old dying Cooler Master liquid cooler. Easy installation. Works with Intel and AMD. Cool color effect options for the RGB. Make sure you install Corsair's iCUE software to control the fans and pump. Best to keep the pump at balanced mode (2100 rpm) because it defaults the pump to quiet (600 rpm) and it doesn't ramp so it just stays at 600 if you don't change it. The fans can be set however you like as long as the pump is balanced. Paired with Arctic MX-4 thermal paste and Innovation graphite pad for max performance. Balanced pump with fans set to quiet or balanced gets 24-28c idle temps 4.4GHZ OC. No higher than 67c full load with fans at 50-65% speed.

Installed on an Asus Crosshair x470 with Ryzen 2700x. Very easy. Fan install also easy. Just figure where you want in your case, check the fan directions (arrows on the fans) and install. Trickiest part is cable management (isn't that always the case though). Plan that out along with your connections. One caveat on the motherboard, check your USB connections. I bought an internal USB hub for my PC as I had 2 USB connections needed, but only 1 connector on the motherboard. This cooler needs 1 USB connection to the motherboard. That hub was an easy fix. Knocking 1 star as it seems to have issues with iCue and the lighting resetting after the PC goes to sleep. Researching that. For this PC: Corsair case, Corsair power supply, Corsair fans, Corsair memory, Corsair keyboard and this Corsair cooler.

One month into a new build, the Corsair Hydro H100i continues to cool my i7-8700K like a champ. Core temps remain frosty even under load, and it makes a world of difference in terms of how little noise it produces. Installation was a breeze (far easier than installing a heatsink/fan/cooling tower to your CPU, what with the application of thermal paste, etc), and I haven't had any problems at all. I do hear some noise that I'm guessing is air trapped in the loop on occasion, but it seems to go away after the system warms up. The LED is cool, and I am running it through the Corsair Link software to monitor fans speeds and CPU/GPU/MOBO temperatures (though the software isn't necessary, I believe).

Bought this unit to upgrade an older H100 that was installed in 2012, love the reliability of Corsair AIO units, and was more than happy to take advantage of some holiday sales to get another 5 years of peace of mind on an moderately overclocked CPU (intel i7 8700k tuned up to 4.3ghz from a stock 3.7- the chip sits at a cool 34 degrees C under normal gaming load). Can't ask for more out of an AIO, and now I have LEDs on top of it all that I can tune in with the Corsair Link software pulling my Rapidfire K70 keyboard, Glaive mouse and MM800 mousepad all in colorful sync. What a glorious time to be alive.

I purchased this cooler for my 6700K. Prime95 small FFT 4.2ghz hottest cores 64,66,68, + 72 degrees. Winter temps. Had to do a little modding to get it installed in my Silverstone TJ07 case. Find the Corsair stock 120mm fans to be a little loud on full throttle. Recommend they be replaced with a couple Gentle Typhoons instead. The Corsair software is nice and provides details such as your thermals and control over the RGB effects. Highly recommend for a four core cpu though would not use on an 8 core or soldered thermal grease cpus Intel has put out that runs hot!

Bought this for an Intel - Core i5-9600K Six-Core 3.7 GHz Desktop Processor. On a machine I was building. When installing be AWARE that the top part that goes on the CPU can turn and come partly off during install. This took me a couple trouble times to trouble shoot. before your mount the cooler to your cpu make sure the cooler ring is in all of its holes and completely on, otherwise you will have your cpu overheat if your not keeping an eye on you temps in the bios. But after installing and figuring it out great cooler.

I have the older model of the H100i for when I first built my own PC, and it has served me well for 4 years without needing a single bit of maintenance, which is the whole purpose of an AIO (All-In-One) cooler. The only gripe I have with this is the software you utilize, Corsair LINK, is, was, and always has been a somewhat bleh program, and I wish there was a better alternative. Only thing I recommend is switching the included fans on this for some Corsair or other brand MAGLEV fans.

Bought this to replace a single-fan AIO that came with my iBuyPower prebuilt (also purchase from Best Buy, in fact!) when the processor wasn't staying as cool as I'd like it to stay during games (regularly hitting close to 100 degrees C, and I wasn't even overclocking) Since strapping this on, my temps have been consistently hovering around 70 degrees C even during heavy load, which is a marked improvement in my opinion. And colors are neat too!

This isn't necessarily for beginners - installing the AOI closed looper water cooler requires some level of thought about airflow in your case, how you wire it up and a large case to begin with. BUT when installed correctly, it blows the doors of nearly every air cooler with much less weight on your motherboard and considerable lower noise. In my case (ha), quite literally a large case, it's keeping a Core i7 very cool with impressively low noise. Exactly what I wanted.

My previous AIO wasn't cutting it, I was hitting 90°c constantly. So I upgraded to this one. Such an improvement, I haven't gone past 80c, my room is on the hot side so I can only imagine how much better it would work in cooler ambient temps. Its a little on the loud side but I've gotten used to it. Corsair has some of my favorite rgb controls, my color theme is white and pink and I find a lot of rgb pink leans towards purple. Not this one or my corsair keyboard.

I really like this cooler. It is SATA powered unlike previous generations of the H100i which is a huge plus. This keeps my i5 under 65c at 4.9ghz running prime95 for over an hour. Very easy to install too, as it comes with thermal paste already applied. I just wish it came with the ML120 PRO fans instead of the regular ML120's. They're a little louder than the PRO versions and don't light up. But all in all, this is a great product at a great price that does its job well.

It was somewhat easy to install i just didnt read the intructions much so thats my own fault. Other than that i havent had much issue with heat but wanted to play it safe. With case fans i had cpu temps up to 42°c but with this ive only gotten up to 35c and thats also in part due to my case not being large enough and theres only 1 fan on the radiator. If there was 2 like most people will have then i doubt you will ever even come close to hot

Temps for my i7-7700k (not overclocked) are about 1-2 degrees lower than the air cooler I had which only cost a third of the price of the H100i Pro. I even applied Thermal Grizzly Kryonaught. Other positive reviews are bragging about below 30 idles and below 70 max load temps with similar or even better CPUs than mine. Installation was easy and my rig looks nicer but I'm disappointed with the temps I'm getting.

If you are looking into switching from air to liquid cooling, look no further! This is my first liquid and I did not want to customize one, so I decided to give this AIO cooler a try. You will never need to refill and works right out the box. It comes with pre-applied thermal paste which makes it even easier to build. Surprisingly the pump is very quiet. Make sure to install in the front of the case for better CPU cooling!

using this cooler with my new build and it happens to be my first build ever and I’m happy to say that it’s supper easy to install on my msi gaming plus motherboard and i5 9600k. I haven’t overclocked yet to check temps but again I’m new at this so I’m still experimenting and so far temps are pretty good.

As A beginner who wants to know more about liquid cooling I decided to switch from the noctua Nhd-15 to this and after using the H100i I feel pretty good about my purchase all thought I have slightly higher idle Temps 35 from 30 The H100i keeps my cpu under 60 degrees full load around 45-54 where noctua I would reach 55-67 degrees at some times I am happy and would purchase another AIO
