It works amazingly! I needed an extra storage of internal SSD for my computer since my 400GB M.2 SSD that came with my PC, has been almost full since 2022. Now that I have 2TB of SSD storage, playing newer games have been no problem! The write speeds are enough if you’re looking for stock quality SSD speeds, and games such as Fortnite, Marvel Rivals, Hell Divers 2, Elden Ring & more will run fantastic on it! That was my biggest worry: Would this product undersell the performance and load times of some of the newer, more faster big titles. It did not disappoint! I absolutely needed more storage. This is the way to go! Quick PSA to anyone who might have issues getting the SATA to be recognized— Look up on google “How to turn on SATA drive using command prompt” and follow the instructions google gives you to bring that baby online! It worked for me (Even while I had the drive plugged in, I couldn’t figure out how to bring it online until research brought me there!).

So far this SSD hard drive is working great! I cloned my existing drive that was starting to run very slow. Now my PC starts right up, programs and file load instantly. I bought a second to upgrade another PC.

I used these SSDs for fast cheap storage in my Raspberry pi NAS. Couldn't be happier. I have never had issues with them.

Safe yourself the headache 2-3 years down the road and don't buy this. The lack of Dram is reason enough, but the read/write speeds age like Milk. Purchased: 5/24

Bought and installed this SSD drive on my PC on September 18 2024. On January 30th 2025 I had to replace this drive because of crashes and a freezing pc. I did a clean install of Windows 11 twice with no luck. Replaced this drive with a Samsung 870 EVO. Works great. A little more money but, you get what you pay for.

I bought this Crucial BX500 2TB SSD to upgrade my desktop computer, and the difference has been amazing. Installation was very simple thanks to the standard SATA format, and from the first boot I noticed a significant improvement in the speed of the operating system and programs. The performance is smooth, silent, and reliable. There are no overheating issues or speed drops, even when handling heavy tasks like video editing or gaming. Plus, the 2TB capacity gives me plenty of space to store all my files without worry. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, fast, and durable solution to bring new life to their PC or laptop. Totally worth every penny!

The Crucial BX500 SSD is a great drive that was easy to install and has transformed the speed of my older desktop PC, compared to my old HDD. However, the Acronis True Image for Crucial software was terrible. The first attempt to clone my drive 2TB HDD (with 555 GB used) over to the Crucial SDD resulted in me waiting 4 hours to continually tell me it was going to take another 1 day and 4 hours, so I aborted. The 2nd attempt never even got to that point as the GUI just spun around after clicking Proceed, so I aborted. I finally had to download and pay for a 3rd-party disk clone software that worked great, showed accurate status along the way, and only took 3 hours. Crucial needs to find a better software solution for their great hardware!

I needed to purchase this item to replace a corrupted ssd I had and I’ve had no issues with this one since. The price was reasonable and I was able to get it on a very short notice. It is very small and was able to fit into my pc with little issue.

Love the slim, compact, and pocket size of this device. The cord could be longer.

Wonderfully cheap (contextually) option for an SSD - though it has no DRAM, still very capable for modern gaming. Does not come with screws if you're curious.

Works well and very good price for the amount of storage it offers. Definitely follow the install instructions as there is a program you need to have to allow it to use the storage.
