I had some experience with smoking meats prior to purchasing this. I needed something small and electric, and this fit the bill. I have used it to smoke fall-off-the-bone ribs, as well as chicken. My only complaint is the cord length. The instructions(as well as common sense) state that the unit should be operated at least 10 feet from any structure, but the cord they supply is only about five and a half feet long. It also states in the instructions that the unit should only be hooked directly to a gfci outlet, so that rules out extension cords. But aside from that, this is a solidly built unit, that absolutely can get the job done.

Works great! I did a roast with potatoes for my first try. Four hours later it turned out great! Than i did a tri-tip, also turned out great. This last weekend i did ribs. Tomorrow I'm going to do salmon.

Worked great the first day !! The power cord was loose and would not keep it turned on unfortunately so we had to return it. But it seemed to work well while it was on gave the meat a great Smokey flavor we even smoked some cheese. It’s been sold out so we haven’t been able to order a new once since we returned it! Wondering if other people had this issue ?

I have always wanted to Bar B Q but didn’t think I was cut out for it. With this GREAT little smoker & Best Buy’s awesome sale they were having I went for it. Omg, I love this Smoker & have so many things I want to Grill & try. One Happy Lady here! Thank you Best Buy

Temp control is a little tricky and seems to fluctuate a bit. Only used once so far and it didn't seem to generate much smoke. I used hickory chunks instead of chips so that could be the issue. Will use chips next time to see if I get a better result.

Very easy to set heat levels. Once you set your heat level, your good and don't have to worry about temperature fluctuations that can happen with the traditional smoker setup. This isn't the cream of the crop smoker, but if you want an easy to use smoker for moderate to casual use, this is it.

Very excited with this purchase, first time smoker and i am happy to say the assembly was easy the whole unit is user friendly. Holds internal temp pretty well enough space for the things i intended.

This is the first smoker I bought and it works great and easy to use. Would highly recommend for someone starting out on smokers. Only down side is that it's hard to nail down a temp right away but after a couple times smoking with it I figured it out.

This is so easy to use. It's a perfect size. Not too large or small. Temperature is easy to control and clean up is a breeze.

When i recieved package i was impressed. Turned on for 3hrs for curing process was still fairly impressed with how quickly it heated up. The weekend after i got it had family over for a cookout and tryed the new smoker and was quickly disappointed. The heat adjustment has a short and took almost 10 hrs for my chicken to get to temp. Called customer service next day talked to 3 different people and all put me on hold for approximately 10 min a piece, when the last one told me that their wasnt nothing they could do to help I was livid and still have a smoker that doesnt work.

Pros- easy to assemble, not too big. Cons- hard to clean, cord is 5ft but instructions state to be 10ft away from structures, and the legs are awkwardly angled

I bought this smoker for my husband and the food he has made was better than I expected. I like food cooked with charcoal but the flavor of the food was surprisingly delicious.

This is a great smoker for the price. It holds temperature very well cooks great and very easy to clean. And the set up was quick and easy

Purchased for my husband for Father’s Day, we have used it every day since then. The smoker is a must have for anyone loving smoked brisket or ribs.

This is great I bought this for my son for his birthday. He has used it about 5 days a week

Smoker works pretty well the dial for temp should have numbers instead of colora. No protector for the heating element. Could see it burning out quicker. My firat smoke was 2 pork butss, half a brisket, and 2 racks if ribs

We got this for Christmas and love it. The size is efficient and assembly is simple. The temperature holds well also. Despite its smaller size, the inside is plenty spacious and you can smoke way more than you’d think.

Son used it do smoke beef brisket and bacon. Turned out great.
