It would be easy for a story like this to come off as phony or stilted, but so far I am quite impressed with the depth of thought that went into Death Note. Each episode explores a new angle to the intriguing premise, and there is a long, slow burn building up toward the ultimate conclusion. The animation is first-rate anime style. Watch with the original Japanese language and English subtitles for the optimal experience.

I really regret not watching this anime when it was originally released. The storyline is brilliant. Definitely an anime i would watch again and again. It does not lose its interesting appeal as it ages

I used to cringe at the idea of Anime until a friend turned me onto to Death Note. Great intro for newcomers of the genre!

This is a good way to get the complete series of death note... the packaging is good and the discs inside were not scratched and the design was nice. But if I was one of those people who wanted special features this doesn’t really give me that so if people want that... still get it a good product

I seen the complete series on Netflix before they lost the license to it and really wanted to buy it. It is awesome and a must have for anyone who likes dark Anime with some Detective type twist to it. It will have you on the edge of your seat wondering if Light is ever going to get Caught. Ill leave it at that because i dont want to ruin the story before purchase.

Hopped on this when it was nearly half off. One of the best animes ever made and one of my favorites. If you're a fan of Thrillers and Dark Fantasy definetly watch this. Love the box art and the reversible cover. Apples of the disc's is a nice touch as well.

This one of the most entertaining and supspenful animes out there especially the first half of the show furring the battle beteeen L and Light. It's suspenseful, dark, dramatic and the character and plot are pretty good. If you're a fan of anime.... you've seen the show, now just own the bluray

I have loved this series ever since I first read the manga online. I had to stream the series from less than reputable site but they got the job done. now with the blu-ray collection having the entire series in one collection in full HD quality is amazing. Absolutely worth the purchase.

This product contains all episodes of Death Note and can be dubbed/subtitled in different languages. I was really surprised when I saw this at Best Buy, I had only seen this product online (Amazon). If you're into suspense, ethics, morality, or just want a good anime, Death Note has it all.

This is great a great set. If you can get this version over the other box set i highly recommend this version. This box set includes the two live action movies and a small booklet which includes the prequel comic. When i purchased this version, it was cheaper than the regular box set.

Death note is an anime of critical thinking. It would keep you interested most of the series. There is a part in the middle where it goes slow and kind of boring, but dont give up...it gets better in the end. definitely you should make it to your collection

Death Note was one of my introductions to anime and it still remains of my favorite shows today. This Blu-ray contains all 37 episodes and from what I've watched the quality seems to hold up. If your a fan of anime then this is one you should check out.
