Greetings from a happy best buyer. I recently purchased the DELL Inspiron 15.6 3593 and so far I am satisfied with its performance. I only purchased this laptop for studying online. With that being said, its perfect. The setup was fast and easy. The wifi is linked immediately after entering the password. My internet browsing experience was smooth thereafter and the touch screen is very responsive. However, the screen resolution is not the best but its excellent for studying and for the price. It feels durable. I personally like the look of carbon fiber that the laptop is encased in. Its as lightweight as I need it to for moving it around the house. The laptop is just about a 1/2 inch thick. Overall I didn't want to pay a lot of money for a laptop that I will mainly use to study online. So it clearly meets my needs financially and productively. You can view pictures below. Thanks for reading. I hope this was helpful to you.

I bought this lap top in Nov of 2020 and it works perfect, it’s fast, it’s smooth. I have not had any problems with it at all. Battery life is great. Over all I give it a 9.5 out of 10.

Good for the value I got it. Fast and clean boot time. Touch screen works well. Do not compare the screen resolution with the Retina display Pc or Mac. Light weight. The outside screen body is so thin and lightest so, be extra careful.

The performance is great! Bootup and shutdown are so quick -- 2-3 seconds. Screen resolution looks pretty normal or the same as my experience with other laptops.
Initial Windows Setup is pretty easy -- just be sure to connect first to the internet and it helps if you have a fast connection.
I just don't like the size -- it's almost bulky or like the 17" laptops. I have an existing 15.6" Lenovo so I can compare it. If you notice this Dell unit has large borders surrounding the screen. The keyboard keys are also a bit small and a bit spread out -- perhaps this is one reason the laptop gets bigger.

Great Laptop in a budget

A budget laptop with a good processor, capable to do the tasks I need, Outside is not a shiny high-end laptop, plastic everywhere, but with the i7 chipset is more than enough. With the help of 12GB RAM the laptop can keep several programs running while I still listen music, battery range from 4-5.5 hours that is pretty good, working from home on these days is challenge for most of us but with the help of Dell is a little relief. Totally recommend this laptop to anyone is looking for performance ratter than esthetics.

Granted my old laptop was over 10 years old but, this laptop is fast! Also liked there was not a lot of "crap" programs loaded on it. Only hurdle for me trying to load my programs was the "S" option on Microsoft Edge that kept me from loading my Quicken and Chrome browser. Once I disable that option, everything went fine. The unit is quiet and the battery lasts forever. Touchscreen works fine even though I don't use it much. That probably will change after I have it for a while. Very satisfied!

Like others have said, good product for the price. Once figuring out how to turn of "S mode" it's been a nice computer. It's fast and responsive and handles Photoshop, Illustrator, and web browsing with ease. Would have been 5 stars but the quality of the screen display is on the lower quality side. It's not a sharp, clear, vivid display.. it appears dull and grainy almost like a monitor you'd expect from 2005.

I don’t understand the bad reviews on this. The resolution isn’t the highest, but it seems fine to me. I’m using this as a mostly work computer, so I can’t vouch for gaming or a ton of video watching, etc., but for regular tasks it isn’t bad at all. The specs are great for the money I paid (I got it on sale for $600). If you want all these specs AND a super high quality resolution, you are going to have to pay a lot more than $800. It runs fast, and I’ve had no issues so far, although I haven’t had it long. As long as it keeps working, this laptop is definitely a good value to me. By the way, you can easily get out of s mode. A quick google search will walk you through it.

4.5 Stars - Great value for specs, but...

I really like it, although I do have a couple of cons thus the 4 stars (would have given it 4.5).
I don't like that there is no "on" indicator light on the start button. The way it's designed it appears it should have a light there, but I watched a few videos and saw that the light didn't come on, so this is a slight flaw in the design. You can't tell if the computer is on when the screen is off. I'm hoping that is in fact the design and that it isn't actually supposed to work...*sigh*
Also, I had to uninstall and reinstall my audio driver because my earbuds wouldn't work when plugged in. I have an audio guy friend that explained to me that the awesome audio plugin from Waves that is installed competes with the Dell system audio settings.
This presented an additional issue in playback when I tried screen recording with earbuds vs. nothing plugged into the audio/headphone jack. Having an audio person to provide guidance, it was an easy fix. Without guidance, I probably would have been sending this back. Hopefully that doesn't happen to anyone else, but just wanted to share my feedback.
Other than that the person that recommended it said it was one of the best deals for the specs. I found this same one on other sites for $100 more! Great deal!

I was looking for a laptop to use for work/online instruction/file backup and spare some heavy use on my Dell Inspiron 5570 i7 which has been a spectacular five star purchase (from BestBuy) 2 years ago. This touchpad for this 3593 is a bit more firm than prior Dell touchpads. This 3593 has a raised texture pebbled finish which is something I have not had before.
What I look for in a laptop decision.
1. Single hinge screen construction for the durability. Had a HP Pavilion with dual edge screen hinges and they cracked and now stays open all the time as if I close it will break off. Dell still offers the single hinge .
2. i7 for under $600 is a key price point
3. Lit keyboard (*read below)
4. More than one USB port (the has 3)
5. Touch screen, an added option
6. CD/DVD tray but those are harder to find now
7. HDMI port
8. Aluminum finish but hey black will work.
*The drawback to this Inspiron 3593 is it does not have a backlit keyboard, but I weighed the price on the i7 and 512GB SSD and decided no keyboard backlighting could be lived with.

Don’t get all of the bad some are just down right crazy. I’ve had the laptop about a week now. I got it during the pre-black Friday sale for $600. So far so good, screen resolution is nice playing HD movies/videos, startup time is great with SSD drive. The laptop is very sleek and slim and a nice texture on the purposes and inside, the speakers are really loud and the touch screen is very responsive.

I bought this laptop for my sister to take her classes online. I saw it at a very good price on Black Friday 2020 and because of the characteristics that I saw in this laptop I decided to take the risk and I was not mistaken. Excellent value for money, this Dell laptop has good quality materials and its speed is very good. It's definitely what my sister needed.

Very good laptop, it is very fast turning on and off. Switched Window S mode to regular mode is very simple. Reasonable price: $600. Battery is good, one charge can last 5+ hours. Weight is ok with the 15" screen size. Recommended for home use or for school use.

It’s great. Very easy to set up. Computer did it all itself with a little help from me. Very easy to use. Just take it out of the box and plug in to electric and follow it’s installation instructions. Provides access to internet security, if you need it. I use it for games and to prepare business reports.

This was purchased for our 10year old son for Christmas. He has been wanting a laptop for gaming but we also wanted one he could use for school. We didn’t want to spend the money on a gaming laptop since he’s only 10 and not a huge gamer. This one checks all the boxes.
