Setup and calibration are fairly simple. Machine walks you through a lot of it. Machine calibrated the surround speakers perfectly . Sounds great. 4k video pass through is excellent as well. I installed the app on my phone and control everything through my phone. It works perfect so far.

I have had this receiver up and running for a month now and paired with some great Klipsch speakers I couldn't be happier. It was easy to set up and sounded great right from the start. Probably more power than I needed, but it sound great and fills the room with clear surround sound.

The Denon S930H is a great mid range receiver. I got a great deal on it, so I'm very happy with the purchase. I was considering the Denon S730H or the Onkyo 676. I didn't get the Denon S730H due to less HDMI inputs, and I needed all I can get, which was 7+1 front! I'm coming from an Onkyo RC360 I had for maybe 7 years, so I was looking for a change from Onkyo, and was hoping for a better interface, but it was pretty much the same bland, generic looking menus and icons. This is a 2017 model and I still can't believe the menus are still so dull and clunky. Bluetooth streaming sometimes drop out, even when my phone is only 6 feet away from it (luckily I don't have to stream directly to the bluetooth, I stream to my Shield TV and it works much better). Besides those issues and some handshake issues with ARC, this TV has sounded great and that's what receivers are all about, the sound. Sound is nice and clear and a lot more livelier than my old Onkyo. I ditched my 7.1 setup in favor of the 5.1.2 Atmos setup and it's quite a dramatic difference. Overall this receiver is great. It has some issues, but the benefits far outweigh the issues. Get this receiver if you need a lot of HDMI inputs.

Very happy so far with my Denon purchase. I was replacing an amazing 18 year old high end Denon receiver so my expectation was high. Easy to hook up and sounds great. Many inputs-more than I would ever need and powerful response. Great bass sounds and crystal Clear miss and highs

Have always been a fan of Denon Products. This one was a upgrade and I am so very happy. Setup was super easy... The surround Sound is Amazing after Tuning the Speakers.... again super easy to do. I will continue to buy Denon Receivers and would recommend this model.

This makes having outdoor music terrific. As well as having the Bluetooth capability

I upgraded from a Pioneer SC-61 receiver which was just very outdated. This Denon receiver was very easy to hook up to all of my equipment. This receiver gave me a huge improvement over my old receiver on my 4K TV. The sound was a huge improvement as well.

Very good feature set, price is awesome, even got a price match a day later.

This receiver works well for my system and my set up, 4K Player and we have a PS4. The sound is great for Movies, Music and gaming for the grand kids, mostly, they are a lot better than grandpa, also a 65” Sony 4K Smart TV and we love it

I have my blue ray, ps3, Xbox, and satellite running through this. It is easy to use and the surround sound, sounds great. It has Bluetooth, which I use often, works great. Also has many other options, internet connection, heos and more.

Thinking about stepping up on your home theater audio experience? This big dog can get the job done. All the modern connections plus bluetooth to stream from your phone or tablet. Worth the money and ends any discussion about sound bars.

Except for a Blue tooth output, all's well. Had to by a transmitter separately.

After having a Denon system for 10 years it finally went. Purchased this system labeled the wires I took from the old one and connected to the new. The system has a Heios App that is easy to use and can control the system while on the same network. This app will also control my multi room speakers from it. Only problem with Denon just like my last one the menus on the unit are hard to use.

The receiver makes tv & movies sound sooooooo much better.
