If I thought DMC5 couldn’t get any better, Capcom comes around and Judgement Cuts my doubts away with this version of the game, Turbo Mode, Legendary Dark Knight Mode and of course, Vergil, it’s just pure awesomeness

OK I NEVER PLAYED THIS GAME WHEN IT CAME OUT LAST YEAR OR SO. I JUST WAITED BUT WHEN I HEARD VERGIL WILL BE FINALLY PLAYABLE AND I NEEDED A GAME TO TEST NEXT GEN CONSOLE. I WAS LIKE LETS GOOOOOOOO. THIS GAME IS AMAZING SO FAR LOOKS GOOD ON THE PS5 BUT HAS ALOT TO DO WITH YOUR TV AS WELL. PLAYING WITH 120 FRAMES IS WHERE ITS AT. DEFINATLY PICK UP IF YOU WANT A SHOW AND TELL PEACE FOR THE PS5.

The special edition is worth it. The constant 60FPS (or 120FPS if your TV/display supports it) and the ability to play as Vergil is awesome. Vergil is overpowered but there's still a challenge to play on the harder difficulties. If you loved action games, hack n slash, or just the Devil May Cry series in general, then you should definitely pick this up. And if you're new to the series, DMC5 is a fine place to start off with as there is a history of the series video that can help you get up to speed. Still doesn't beat actually playing the games but it's a good summary of the story

This game really took the franchise to the next Level especially for Next Gen. I’ve played the series in multiple consoles and it’s amazing in PS5 on look and speed. The game has a lot of action packed cut scenes which want you to keep playing to see how the story continues. I highly recommend!!!

Remake or Remastered beauty. Smooth gameplay and visuals.

Awesome game definitely worth getting. My only issue with the game was I wish u can stay 1 as 1 character threw the whole game instead of changing since it's different controls and abilities for every character. Music is awesome and story is awesome

This game is really fun on the ps5 and a very drastic improvement from the ps4 edition. I love every DMC game so it wasnt gonna be a surprise when you see a 5 star on this product.

Very fun game. All kinds of graphical modes, including a 120fps mode if you have a 120hz TV. (The new generation of consoles is an excellent excuse to upgrade to a 4K, 120hz, and HDMI 2.1 TV.) There are also ray tracing modes and graphical fidelity modes, and even a ray tracing and performance combined mode so you can get a little of both. (Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales also just introduced RT Performance mode and it is awesome. I can’t wait to see how game developers really start to take advantage of all this new and powerful tech in a year or two after they get used to it.) Once you start playing games at 60+ FPS you never want to go back to the old 30fps standard of the older generation consoles. Gameplay action is smooth even if you don’t use the 120fps mode. Personally I think 60fps with all the graphical and ray tracing bells and whistles is the way to go, but 120fps is quite amazing to try if you have the right TV. The story is great and the soundtrack is awesome to play to and it elevates the gameplay to a new level. Highly recommend this if you don’t already own DMC 5, tho even if you do own it, if you are willing to pay the $40 for updated graphics, performance, and the chance to play Vergil you should go for it. You might want to wait a bit for a sale price tho if you’ve ready finished the original.

don’t remember buying this. but it’s definitely an amazing game that i can recommend to anyone that wants to see how well your Ps5 can preform. flawless 60fps gameplay and an option to play with ray tracing, it’s great.

If you're a fan of the Devil May Cry series, you'll love the latest entry. The graphics and gameplay are already top-notch on the PS4 and Xbox One. This upgraded version for the PS5 takes it to the next level. Everything looks and runs better and now it offers a 120 FPS mode and some Ray tracing. If you haven't played it this would be a great way to buy it since it's always on sale. If you already own the PS4 version then I would wait for a good sale as is still the same game.

Since it's initial release way back in 2001, I have adored the devil may cry series. The action was always fun, frenetic, and full of style. Though they've had some low points in the series, Capcom came back in full force for this sequel. The graphics are absolutely stunning, all of your favorite beloved characters have returned, and the combat has gotten even more over the top. Each of the playable characters offer an engaging, and unique experience and play style. And it's interesting to see how the new characters tie to the old ones. Add in the next gen visual upgrades like ray tracing, and Virgil as a new playable character, and you've got yet another reason to own a PlayStation 5. Please buy this game; you won't be disappointed.

DMC is back....again. This should've been the version realesed since the begining with Virgil included, but oh well. I'm just glad we got him now. I do wish Virgil had an actual story arch and not just redos of the same levels. It looks amazing on PS5 and runs really smooth, 60fps is how this game should be played. If you've been holding off tomolay DMC 5, well don't anymore, pick this up and enjoy an amazing game.

Played the standard version on a friends PS4. Wanted to get the game and waited for the PS5 special addition. I’m glad I did all the extras are great. Also of course the graphics look awesome on PS5 with a 4K tv. It’s a fun game fits with the series perfect. If you never played Devil May Cry, they have a tutorial to catch you up. Great game.

They made the graphics and fps way better on the next gen consoles. They added more new things to the game compared to the previous. Also, the best modeos virgil to play with his own story. This game has a final fantasy 15 vibe when playing. You will need a gaming tv with an hdmi 2.1 if you want the 120 fps.

My first devil may cry game and it did not disappoint! It has a distinctive old-school arcade aesthetic that brought me back to the good old 2000s but the graphics are definitely next-gen. I appreciated the fast-paced, smooth actions as well. Can't wait to play more (and get better lol)!
