A 10" quad core, Android 9 tablet for $70? Don't expect all the bells and whistles of a more expensive tablet, but it gets the job done. I just wanted a tablet for home control use, and using as a remote for gaming on a PC. It does what I need. Wi-Fi is only 2.4Ghz, it's a tablet, 5GHz isn't going to by me much more. Cameras aren't the highest resolution but they work well enough for vid calls. It's updatable, other low end tablets I've had just stay at the OS installed. This one d/l an update when I started it up. It has the Play store, so you can d/l everything you need.
I tried it with music, remote, web apps, they all worked fine. 32GB is enough for it's use to me. The 1280x800 resolution was nice, and the screen looked great. The instructions aren't much, but you can figure out how to use it if you've used Android before. All of the features are there. Basically, items install and start a little slow, but once running they run at normal speeds with no issues or lag. It's all plastic and lightweight. Comes with a USB cord and charger. For the sale price, it's a stable good tablet. You may have to figure out the controls to locate and change items, but it doesn't take long. If you don't need anything fancy this tablet is a great deal.

It has bad speakers and slow stuttery performance. The few good things about this tablet are the price (If you get it on sale.) the screen size (As in it's bigger than a cell phone.) and that it's running Android 9 with the Google Play Store (Sort of rare in a low priced tablet.).
Other than that it is barely better than just using a mid range Android phone. I have a Moto G7 Power that performs smoother and faster, has louder speakers, and better battery life. It just has a 6.2 inch screen instead of the 10.1 that this tablet has, and is double the price. So if you just want a bigger screen than your cell phone has and don't care about much else this may work for you. Otherwise just keep using your phone and hold out for a sale on a better tablet.

I needed a decent quality, decent performing tablet for my 6yr old son. He likes to watch YouTube, Netflix, as well as playing educational games.
This tablet has a decent screen size with a pretty good resolution rating. Everything looks clear and well illuminated.
Unfortunately the screen is not 100% childproof, so my daughter broke the screen when she accidentally stepped on the tablet.. I will be buying another one ASAP.
I paid $79 for the tablet on sale, and I think that is a fair price.
One thing I feel Best Buy should have is an availability of cases, etc for the tablet. The Snellville Ga location had absolutely no accessories for this tablet.
At the end of the day, its a great tablet for kids, and maybe even adults depending on your workload.

I bought this to use as a portable photo album to have a screen larger than my phone. I have since tried to use it for Skype, Zoom an Duo and it is painfully slow, delayed video and garbled sound. So even though it accommodates these apps, you really can't use it for those purposes. It is fine for simple play store games. I also found that none of my styluses work with this tablet.

only has 1.3 Ghz processor. Performs most apps without any flaw. it is not going to be the fastest at this price point. I purchased one as a "test" tablet for my sons School. Seems to run all school required apps. the whole "iReady" application/ web page does work with a few work arounds. As long as you put whatever browser ex. chrome, explorer, firefox into desktop mode, it works fine. The top notch apps do not function properly. That was as expected. overall i believe this tablet a great buy, and will be purchasing 20 more to donate to a school district that is in need in our current situation.

For the price on sale at $59 these were a deal. Battery life isn't great and they had 2 big issues. Volume was almost inaudible and usb port only charged and didnt allow file transfers to PC by usb. To fix these problems do the following-
Volume issue- go into settings and there is an option for sound enhancer booster. This helps make the tablet play much louder. Once enabled it stays turned on unless you turn it off.
USB file transfer issue- enable developer mode then go to the new developer options tab and click it. Turn on usb debugging. Go back to settings and now change usb option to file transfer file share option. Now your usb port will charge and allow file transfers. Once change is made it stays setup unless you go back and change the setting.

Have had this tablet a little over a year and the battery is done. When plugged in says it's fully charged, but will shut off if left unplugged and any apps active within 10 minutes. Plug it back in, maybe 2% of battery has been used. Display is OK, functionality OK- both great at the price point. I had a 7" Digiland that worked great until the tiny circuit board the power button was on broke - battery still worked great on it after 3 years of use. If you're primarily interested in streaming YouTube, Hulu, NetFlix, etc, get something better. This is slow, sometimes stutters, and has horrible speakers - but you get what you pay for.

Average android tablet for use as an extra device

I was looking for an affordable android tablet that would be larger than a smartphone. I wanted to use the tablet for apps that are available only for IOS and Android. Especially now with COVID 19, I wanted a tablet that would allow me to do more things online by internet.
Pros:
The Digiland - 10.1" - Tablet - 32GB - Black, Model DL1023, fit the bill perfectly: great size, android version 9, decent specs including 2 GB RAM memory, and affordable, less than 80 US dollars. Now that I have it for over a month, since the end of July 2020, I have found it useful for some of the apps I wanted.
Cons:
However, a major problem is the SD card. My Digiland DL1023, tablet, continually has problems with the SD card and requires to initialize the SD card, completely erasing the contents of the SD card each time. this happens around every 3 days of use.
I have tried two different SD cards that are class 10 with 32 GB, that work well in my other devices. And the problem persists. I have tried formatting the SD card as for internal memory of the tablet; and then also formatting the SD card as for external memory use. And the problem persists in both types of formatting. When the tablet cannot recognize the SD card, the only option to use the SD card is to format it again, erasing all the SD card content.
Another problem that my Digiland DL1023, tablet has is that while some apps from Google Play are compatible with the tablet's android 9 version, the apps cannot be installed in my tablet. Google Play states: "your device isn't compatible with this version."
Yet another problem is with mobile check. I tried mobile check deposit with the Digiland DL1023, tablet. But the mobile check deposit could not be done. The image quality of the photo of the check was rejected by the app. I used the same check to do the mobile check deposit, with another android device, and the mobile check deposit was successful with the other device. So, I cannot use this tablet for mobile check deposit.
An additional problem is that the speakers do not project speech sound clearly enough for me. When I have tried communication via Zoom with my Digiland DL1023, tablet, I cannot hear clearly what the other persons are saying. I have had to use another device with more powerful speakers for audio communication.
In summary, it is an average android tablet for use as an extra device, but not as a main device. Especially given the SD card problems, and that some apps are not compatible, and that the speaker sound is not clear enough for teleconferencing, as detailed above, I cannot use the Digiland DL1023, tablet as a main tablet. Yet I like that it has 2 GB RAM, 32 GB memory, and 10.1 inches screen size.

Screen resolution and size is a great value for $60 on-sale price. Tablet is responsive, and even more so when DuraSpeed feature is enabled. Selfie camera quality is just acceptable but not ideal. Speakers are also just acceptable. Very happy with purchase though.

I bought this tablet as part of the black Friday sale, and at $60, I found it a good deal for the price. It is not as fast as other tablets that I own, but it has android 9 which has some nice features. Setup is easy and simple. It can copy your phone's content and apps with ease. It also has cast built in to the architecture so no other software is necessary to display the tablet to your TV.

I purchased this for my 87 year old mom. She wanted to keep in touch with family on facebook, play music and read email. She did have problems with the the screen rotating back and forth easily. I changed the setting not to auto-rotate but it still seems to flip back and forth at times. The basic functions seem to do fine. I think some of the issues are just a learning curve for her with technology. But the display is good, sound is okay, but volume does not adjust up enough for my taste. Considering it was only $69 I would say it is a good tablet for the price for just doing basic browsing and email.

This tablet works pretty good other than not holding the charge too well. Had to return it and am waiting for the replacement. Might have been a bad charger. Have had a previous version and it worked great. This one works well too and has a nice screen size.

THIS IS THE THIRD DIGILAND TABLET I'VE PURCHASED. FIRST TWO STILL WORKING, BUT ONE IS GETTING TIRED SO I PICKED THIS ONE UP. UNFORTUNATELY IT LOOKS LIKE MY LUCK IS RUNNING OUT. THE POWER BUTTON STOPPED DEPRESSING. INSIDE OF A MONTH, SO IT'S GOING BACK FOR A NEW ONE. DON'T LIKE BB's RETURN POLICY. OH THEY'LL TAKE IT BACK, BUT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY SHIPPING TO RETURN IT (I RCVD IT BY CURRIER) YOU NEED TO BRING IT BACK TO THE STORE. NO OTHER STORE HAS EVER CHARGED ME TO TO SHIP BACK A DEFECTIVE ITEM WITHIN THE RETURN PERIOD. SHAME ON YOU BB. I'D RATE IT A 4-5 IF THE POWER BUTTON DIDN'T STOP WORKING THE THIRD WEEK .

I brought this for my 6 yr old son, and I have used it. It has good screen quality and the storage is nice. The only issue I have with this tablet is the low volume. Its very very low because the speaker is on the back. It’s great if your a parent that doesn’t want to much sound coming from your kid, but I had to use a Bluetooth speaker for him to be able to hear Netflix.

Great for casual games for the kids.
Not the most rugged, or the best performance; but it's a good cheap tablet for careless kids to use. The screen is plastic, so it takes a beating fairly well.
With fair resolution, fair performance, low internal storage, and an SD slot for additional storage, it meets the minimum requirements for a kids' tablet. It's not ruggedized, but it's tough enough for our use.
If you want performance, a great screen, a good camera, or a full feature set... This is NOT your tablet. If you want a semi-tough, replaceable tablet for the kids, with "just enough" performance for casual use; then this is the one.

Overall I'm pleased with the price & quality of this tablet. The battery seems to hold well with daily use playing games there's a little lag but nothing awful. Charges faster than the other 2 tablets used in my home (RCA & Evoo). Would definitely purchase again if something happens to the other tablets.

Cheap 10" 32GB Android 9.0 Tablet!

I picked it up for $59.99 on sale just prior to Thanksgiving so-called "sales" (ahem). It does have its share of issues; slow to startup, sometimes takes more than 2mins to boot-up fully. I have to enter the pin several times, and even re-start it often. However, when it gets going it works fine.
It's good for streaming, games, etc.
Fact is, you cant beat the low price for 10" 32GB Android 9.0.
