I needed a last minute charger and decide to try this one out. So far it seems to be working well. It chargers pretty fast which is very convenient. I will try to update this review in a couple of months to see how it is holding up.

this is a very convenient charger. my daughter lost the one that came with her camera and this one was a decent price and works like a charm.

The Canon requires you to take the battery out and slide it into this charger. It would be more convenient to just plug in the camera to a power source for charging. That's a different issue. The charger has a slot for the battery, but it's pretty unclear which way the battery slides in. It would be nice to have some instructions. If you look inside the slot you can see some pins. That helps you decide if the contacts on your battery will be in the right orientation or if you are putting it in upside down. If you do reverse it, the battery doesn't charge. Also there is a graphic on the side that tells you if the battery is charging. I recommend this charger because there is no other option to charge your camera.

Easy to use, not bulky, convenient to carry, takes great shots. I take it everywhere.

I bought this as a backup charger to the camera I gave my friend he allowed me to borrow it back to do some stuff but he gorgot to bring the charger so I picked this up and it was very handy but I didn’t own this camera anymore so when I returned the camera I gave him the charger so all he need is another battery and he’ll be fine.
