    I just recently photographed a party and for the first time my Canon battery was not 100% charged! It took over an hour for my battery to charge missing valuable moments of course. I purchased this battery as a much needed backup. The packaging states I should get about 400 photos from a fully charged battery! My Canon does well over 2000 on a single charge. We'll see...

    My wife needed another battery for her CANON DSLR before we took our vacation to Alaska. We found this at Best Buy and it performed beautifully for us. If you are looking for a spare battery to replace the Canon LP-E8, this is a great choice!
