I bought a selfie stick for my GoPro for our trip to Florida. We like to video tape and get pictures of wildlife, such as manatees and other creatures. While on a walk on a wooden bridge, we saw an alligator under neath. I extended the stick to get a picture using my remote. When the alligator saw the camera, it came out after it and snapped at it. I figured it would do this again, so I put my GoPro on video and dropped it down again. The alligator came out after it and snapped at the camera again. I was less than 6 inches from this alligator when the alligator snapped. I got two more segments. I was able to get so close that you see past the teeth and deep into this alligator's mouth. This all happened from a safe distance as I stood above the alligator. This was an excellent purchase. I am adding two pictures I took using the Quick Pod.

I was torn between the "GoPole Reach" and this product, since they sell both at Best Buy, and both have similar prices. What finally made up my mind about buying this product against the other where 3 things: 1.- Even though both products are made of a combination of plastic, rubber and aluminum, the Quickpod Extreme looks and feels more sturdy and durable. 2.- Accesories included: while the "Go Pole" only comes with a Go Pro mount, wrist band, and a remote clip, the Quickpod Extreme comes with the Go Pro mount and several other accesories including a digital camera mount, smartphone mount, wrist band, top and bottom shock absorbers, wrist band, and a carry case for all! I like this product's versatility. 3.- And final but not less important, the length on the "Go Pole" only goes from 14" to 40" while this Quickpod Extreme goes from 18" to 53", thus, giving extra inches to capture wide angle pictures. I took my Quickpod Extreme for a test run kayaking at the lake and I was extremely satisfied.

This pole is durable easy to use and long enough to get the good shots in!!

This device has a universal mounting system. That is, there is a screw that allows you to pop even your Canon 60d D-SLR! I typically utilize it for my gopro hero 4. You can even purchase a mount to pop on your various smartphones for phenomenal angles never achieved as this is the longest stick on the market!

Overall nice product, used it with GoPro and IPhone 6 Plus. Had no issue also used it under water.

Excellent product just need to buy adapter to use with bigger cell phone such as IPhone 6S plus.

I took my go pro along with my new quick pod and I was very surprised to see the great capabilities of my new toy. It's also very stable monopod. Very pleased with it

This is a great stick that can be used on many cameras Go Pro. I use it on my Insta 360 and Rylo. for my students at US Paragliding to get epic videos while they are learning.

I connected my Go Pro to this selfie stick while on vacation a few weeks back. It feels very sturdy and the grip is great. It's also has a good weight to it. If I could point out any negative, it would be my opinion that it's somewhat bulky and, for the price, I thought for sure it would include built in blue tooth. This allows you to pair up with your phone or camera and click a button on the stick that will take the picture. I will do better research next time. I gave it three stars due to it's other attributes.

Works great with my GoPro Hero 4 Silver. I'm sure it would work with any camera with the standard screw mount too. It extends very long, but is also still strong when extended. I have not taken it in saltwater yet, but it worked great in the river. Makes good group selfies easy to take, and gives a good view from wherever you want it to reach. It doesn't float, so use the provided wrist lanyard while diving just in case. The locks also feel very secure. I like the case it comes in, but it is impractical to be carrying around. Great for storage though if you're setting it aside for a while.

I chose this GoPro pole for because it had to whole package. The case has been super helpful and convenient. The pose itself is strong and very easy to extend to give your filming a whole new experience. I used it several times to get closer to wildlife and even an alegator and poisonous snake. I was able to get some great shots. My GoPro fits easily and securly. What else can you ask for - easy to use, quality material, a nice carrying case, extendable, good grip, and the price was cheaper than other options. It doesn't have a stand or tri-pod, but I wasn't interested in that. So just know if you want the longer range of extendability or if a tri-pod type of deal is more important. I've been really happy with this pole and case.

Amazing tool. Great quality, three different extension clips, and comes with accessories for your belt or wrist. I was able to use this for my GoPro AND I used the clips to hold up a flag. Great purchase! I paid less than I expected as well!

This selfie stick is durable! It's got great length and you can tell it isn't going to break on you like all the rest! It's waterproof too! Awesome!

Very sturdy and flexible. Very light and easy to break down and store. Great for under water use and taking selfies. Would definitely recommend!

I purchased this to shoot for my kids swim strokes technique. Product is a great one and good quality. Had several retrofit options for different devices. I recommend that manufacturer need to find a solution for enabling under water videos while shooting from dry land. For example shooting a video under water in a swimming pool - while you're outside. The only I could do is, tie up the camera straight and dip in the stick in the water - which is not recommended.

A very long extendable pole. Like the wrist strap and foam hand grip, lightweight, looks and feels very durable.

Really easy to use, great reach and is waterproof. It's easy to pack and comes with a great case.

Locking tabs are nice and easy to use allowing you to lock at any position. It's a bit bulky and heavy. But it's still a good monopod. Worked well with my gopro and point-and-shoot cameras. The case included is very nice but I've never really used it to store or transport my monopod. Accessories included can come in handy depending on your use.

Great quality, it extends pretty far and it's fairly light.

Although it's a little on the heavy side, it provides great support for GoPro cams & includes neat accessories and a case to put i all in for a good price. Can be used under water, which is a plus for me. Would definitely recommend.
