Dirt 5 is a fun arcade style racing game with multiple difficulties and a pretty lengthy career mode. It also has online play and 4 player split screen, although I have not tried the latter. It looks pretty good on a standard PS4, but it also includes a free upgrade to the PS5 version, which looks even better! The only downside is you cannot carry your PS4 progress over to PS5, which stinks, so be aware of that. If you’re looking for a realistic car game, wait for GT 7. If you want just a simple arcade racer, this is a great choice!

I give this 4 out of 5 stars. The graphics are very pleasing to the eye and the general feel of the cars is also nice. However there is absolutely no tuning available to change the handling characteristics of the cars. That is a major draw back for me because some cars feel like they have very little bump absorption as if they are track cars and not off road cars.

Coming with a free upgrade for the PS5 version is a great deal alone for such a fun racer! Would recommend to anyone who loves an intense fun ride behind the wheel!

Fun game with 2 player local. Graphics great and lots of options for vehicles.

It looks real pretty on ps5, but the gameplay feels very arcadey. All cars feel the same, all road surfaces feel the same. Its a real departure from the previous game which was a more simulation experience. There are no rally events. All tracks are closed circuits. But it does look impresive and runs at 4k 120hz, but gameplaybis so shallow its just eyecandy to show off a ps5.

A great off road game, the graphics are amazing , also can play up to 4 players in split screen.

Probably the funnest racing game out at the moment. Not the most technical, not the craziest graphics, not the most serious. But bright, loud, exciting - good for when you just want to throw something in and have a good time.

This is the best racing game of 2020. There's a variety of racing modes for both single player and multiplayer and the podcast style commentator humor is extremely funny to listen to between races.

Great graphics. Easy to pick up and play. Still early in the stages of playing. Haven't played multiplayer yet. Looking forward to playing local multiplayer.

Lots of funny to play with the family at same time in 3 player split screen mode. The rumble in controllers is fun.

Nothing like the previous versions. Codemasters has taken a beloved title and thrown everything that was great about the previous games and thrown it away. This is not a rally game. Think Asphalt Extreme but slightly better in the physics.
