Charges, doubles as a handle and tripod, allows for quick button prompts, and has an addition thread for mounting a light or microphone. Its not cheap but as with all DJI products, it’s incredibly well made.

Keeping your fingers out of frame hand holding the camera is harder then one might think. This gives extra battery and off camera controls.
