The Dyson headphones impressed me with their balanced blend of quality and functionality, offering an impressive range of features, though with a few minor drawbacks. The sound quality is outstanding, especially for bass-heavy genres. After testing them, I’m genuinely pleased with how Dyson has delivered on sound quality, comfort, and noise cancellation with these headphones. Pros: Powerful Noise Cancellation: Equipped with eight microphones, the ANC blocks good background noise, making it easy to immerse in music or podcasts, even in noisy settings. Long Battery Life: These headphones offer up to 55 hours of listening time on a single charge, even with ANC on. A quick 10-minute charge gives an extra 2.5 hours, for a rush situations. Enhanced Sound Range: These headphones offer deep bass, clear highs, and a generally balanced, warm sound. This is perfect for genres like hip-hop and jazz. Customization: The headphones have interchangeable caps and cushions in different colors and finishes, so you can make them your own (though these accessories are sold separately). Comfort and Design: A soft microfiber cushion and a balanced weight distribution ensure a comfortable fit for extended wear. The headphones are large but designed to feel light on head. Simple Controls: Toggling between ANC and transparency modes (which lets outside sounds in) is easy, though touch controls on the earcups can be too sensitive at times. Crystal Clear Calls: Dual microphones enhance call clarity, focusing only on your voice and minimizing background noise. App Integration: The Dyson app offers useful features, like warnings if the music volume is too high and could damage your hearing, which is a nice touch for those who care about long-term ear health. Cons: Price: These headphones are expensive. While they offer excellent features, the price is higher than some competitors which have similar capabilities. Heavy: At over a pound, these headphones are heavier than some other premium models, which might be uncomfortable for those who prefer lighter options for long wear. Case: The included hard case isn’t ideal. It has open ends where dust can get in, and it doesn’t protect the headphones as well as some other cases on the market. Touch Controls: The touch controls for toggling ANC and Transparency modes can be overly sensitive, which means you might accidentally change settings during use. It could have been more user-friendly with physical buttons instead of touch-sensitive areas. Transparency Mode: While it works well, it’s not as clear or effective as the transparency modes found on other high-end headphones that I have used before. Overall, the dyson headphones offer impressive ANC, great sound quality, and long battery life. They are customizable in design and comfortable for extended wear. However, the high price and a few design quirks, like the bulky weight and sensitive touch controls, might not be for everyone. If you’re an audiophile who loves bass-heavy sound and value personalization, these could be a great choice, but there are alternative headphones at a similar price point that might offer a bit more refinement in sound and usability.

I didn't think very much about Dyson having headphones but the Dyson rep Dylan at Montclair Best Buy was the best representative of these headset by Dyson he let me listen to them play music and it was just outstanding better than Apple and better than Sony and Bose you will not regret it thank you Dylan

I really, really want to like the Dyson On Trac headphones. I mean, just look at them! If I were to basic the decision on physical appearance alone I’d say nothing even comes close to the design and customization options that this product provides. From changing the color of the ear cups to the exterior caps, you can really get personal with your choices. Even with the integration of the Dyson app and the super swift pairing, again things look so promising. I had them up and running in no time after a lengthy firmware update. What didn’t come through as a product is the actual sound quality. I’d give the noise reduction solid scores compared to products I have from multiple competitors. Better then middle of the road, but not quite at the level of a lot of audio focused companies. Where I can’t give a high score is actual sound quality. I tried multiple sources at multiple bandwidths and just didn’t feel like the fidelity was there no matter what I did. Sound wasn’t very clear, volume was lower then average given the size of the drivers, and just overall disappointment.
