This vacuum is essential to have in your home! The suction power is incredibly strong that you notice the difference in cleanliness around your home. The vacuum is a bit heavy but that’s mostly due to the big battery attached. The run time is about 60mins which is a plus for me.

Amazing product. I did a lot of research before purchasing and realized that I would rather spend a little more money but buy a product which brand has amazing reputation. I had previously bought one of the bots that automatically clean and mop but that just did not work out. The bot could not reach certain places, got stuck, and had to be constantly cleaned so it did its job. I got tired and got an “actual vacuum”. This particular one is amazing as it comes with a bunch of accessories that allow me to reach tighter spots, and I really like the movement I get with this one reaching even the most random places while easily handing it wirelessly. 10/10!

I wasn’t a big fan of dyson products and was skeptical about them thinking over priced ordinary stuff. I purchased cordless vacuum with big discount during Christmas, my family is in love with it. It’s making cleaning much easier and we can reach under furnitures and stairs easily. It’s great with pet hair.

Battery lasts way longer than my old V8. Great suction and lightweight for a cordless. Some of the attachments are more cheaply made then they use to be and would are falling apart after one month of use. Luckily I still have my old attachments that were made to last

Quite a bit heavier than my corded Shark stick Vacumn. Suction is far superior to my Shark and easier to maneuver than the 3 Dysons ( not stick style) I have and still own. One review mentioned the “11” is far lighter and I did try an “11” at the store after this purchase was already made……. In retrospect, I may have chosen that model only due to it being lighter

The Dyson v11 is a cool looking cordless vac with the power and battery life to clean a whole house. Granted, it’s going to vary largely on how big and dirty your house is, but with up to 60 minutes of run time in Eco mode I had just enough juice to do light cleaning throughout a 4 bedroom home. However, I honestly don’t know if I’ll ever use Eco mode outside of testing it for review, because Med and Boost mode is where this vacuum really shines. With a simple touch of a button, it’s easy to switch power levels and while the stronger ones dramatically shorten the battery life, it’s worth the extra suction. Med is the default power level and provides ample general suction that’s good for most situations, while the Boost power mode kicks it up a notch offering the strongest suction with an impressive amount of pull. It makes cleaning out the car with the brush and crevice tools much easier because I don’t have to try to loosen up the dust to help the vacuum suck it up. It’s actually strong enough to do the job and that’s what makes this Dyson v11 a winner. It has the power, battery life, and attachments to make cleaning easier and more thorough. And because it’s a Dyson, it also looks like a futuristic hand cannon, complete with a cool humming sound when you release the trigger (I won’t lie, when not cleaning the v11 is sometimes used as a toy). Speaking of attachments, this v11 kit comes with a lot more than I anticipated. There’s a floor and a furniture rolling brush attachment that are both oriented for sucking up hair and fur without getting tangled up. The floor one does a great job on cat hair, but they’re short and not really the tangling type. I do wish it came with an LED light strip to illuminate the floor, but that’s not so critical for me. It also comes with a few fixed brush heads that I’m still figuring out. I think one is specifically for blinds, because I saw it on a photo and tried it and I’m happy to say it works great on aluminum mini blinds! There’s also a standard crevice tool with a fine tip and a hybrid brush/crevice tool that’s good for all-purpose duty. I love that it comes with a flexible hose and an angled in-line attachment that makes reaching those weird spots a bit easier. Cleaning out the bagless dust canister is also an simple process with one handle that both opens up and empties out the canister. I am a bit worried about the longevity of this handle since it’s doing double duty to pull and empty things, but we’ll see how it holds up. Thankfully, Dyson includes a 2 year warranty in case there’s any issues. They also provide lifetime support, though I have no idea what that actually entails. Overall, the Dyson v11 is an outstanding cordless vacuum that’s a serviceable main vacuum and a fantastic 2nd vacuum. It’s powerful, well built, has ample battery life, comes with a ton of attachments, looks cool, and even makes cool sounds. If you’re looking for a cordless vac with respectable suction, look no further. PROS - Up to 60 min run time (in Eco mode) - Legitimately powerful suction in Boost mode - 3 power levels (Boost, Med, Eco) - Comes with lots of useful attachments (2 focused on hair/fur removal) - Easy to empty dust bin - Easy to figure out how to use - Bagless - Excellent build quality - Makes a cool sound when you let go of the trigger - Looks and feels a futuristic canon - 2 year warranty CONS - Relatively heavy for some - Weight distribution centered on handle/trigger - Wish it came with a bag for attachment storage - Floor cleaner brush head attachment has no lights - Charge time is about 3.5 hours

Dyson is not a cheap brand name, but the innovation and quality of their products always justify the price if you can afford it. Dyson products will last long after you bought them and they have a great after sales support if you need it. The V11 Extra Cordless vacuum is no different. Right from unboxing, I could see how much thought and care was put into designing this product and while they had all the reasons to not be environmentally friendly, all the packaging material was recycled and only the outer box was color printed. One very important thing to mention is that Dyson Vacuums are compatible when it comes to batteries, chargers, accessories and wall stations. This is a huge plus for us since we have a Dyson outsize and everything is interchangeable between the 2. If you are a first time Dyson user let me assure you that this V11 extra is no joke! The suction is great and powerful and it can take on 700+ square feet of carpet/ hardwood floor before you need to empty it. I live with 2 humans with long hair and 3 cats and the hair is always everywhere and we vacuum almost daily. That’s why we needed another Vacuum for the second floor hence the Dyson V11 Extra. One huge difference between this new 2023 model and the previous models from Dyson is the new de-tangling Motor bar cleaner head deep cleans carpets and hard floors with hair removal vanes that clear long hair and pet hair from the brush bar. This is a very effective new feature that will save me 10 minutes cleaning the brush bar on my other Vacuums every week. When hair gets tangled in a brush bar, the suction power becomes less and the brush bar slows down and doesn’t turn as much which can be a fire hazard. Another great feature of Dyson is that battery life is great, I can clean up to 2500 square feet at least twice before needing to recharge it. the LCD screen shows you how much battery life is left and it also has a button for you to choose suction power depending on floor and maintenance needs if any. The other difference with this cleaning head is that you don’t need to adjust a toggle on the cleaning head to choose between hardwood and carpet, the new technology works on all floors very effectively. Although the suction is very strong thanks to Dyson’s 14 cyclones, its not that loud. Our pets don’t seem bothered by it. The Dyson V11 Extra comes with all the accessories you need to take care of all y our needs of vacuuming you floors, carpets, furniture, vents, stairs and even your car. • It includes a Motor bar cleaner head, wall dock, charger • Combination tool, crevice tool, hair screw tool, mini soft dusting brush • Stubborn dirt brush, mattress tool, up-top tool, extension hose, and wand clip Emptying the bin is very easy and not messy at all, you lower the toggle on the bin and it slides down to push the dirt out. You can empty it with one hand over a trash bin or into a trash bag. I have only one issue with Dyson vacuums that they don’t seem to change which is the vacuum trigger. In order to operate the vacuum you need to push and hold the trigger of the vacuum without letting go to keep the vacuum on, if you are vacuuming a large space your finger will be fatigued after a while and I know for sure this is an easy fix that Dyson can take care of but they choose not to. Other than that, this is the perfect, elegant, powerful and best option for a cordless vacuum cleaner that can be a large home with pets all in one solution to vacuuming. I have attached pictures to show the V11 Extra next to the Dyson outsize (the bigger one) for reference. Happy cleaning!

Power of Upright Vacuum in the Palm of Your Hand

The Dyson V11 Extra Cordless Vacuum is a powerhouse! This is a beautiful piece of equipment that has been engineered for ease of use & durability. Included with this cordless vacuum are a number of accessories & a wall mount that allows it to be hung on the wall. Simply lift the vacuum, place it in the holster & it charges the internal batteries while storing it neatly against the wall. Dyson improves their cordless vacuums and releases new models with higher model numbers. This V11 Extra offers additional features, such as a washable filter. Simply twist the cover, remove, shake out & rinse the filter. A welcome addition for pet owners is the de-tangling vanes that separate long hair & pet hair from the pick-up brush as you vacuum. This saves a tremendous amount of time & effort when you pick up a lot of hair. The most impressive benefit in operating the V11 Extra, in my experience, is the shear pick-up power that is amazingly similar to a plug-in upright vacuum, without the fuss of dealing with the power cord. CONCLUSION: This is an extremely powerful & well designed tool. Choose 3 levels of cleaning power by a touch button that will provide up to 60 minutes of cleaning. This Dyson V11 Extra earns my highest recommendation.

Using this vacuum is like magic

I’ve been using cordless vacuums like this for years as our primary house vacuum. Some of them are not powerful enough to clean the whole house and are only good for spot cleaning. This one from Dyson is ideal for any type of cleaning you can throw at it. The vacuum comes in a large box that looks like it could be a fancy shipping box. There is a lot of cardboard packaging on the inside that encases all the accessories/attachments — and there are a lot. Included in the box are the main vacuum assembly (motor/dustbin, wand, Motorbar cleaner head, charger), combination tool, crevice tool, hair screw tool, mini soft dusting brush, stubborn dirt brush, mattress tool, up-top tool, extension hose, and wand clip. Not to mention the wall dock, which really comes in handy for charging purposes. The only downside to having so many attachments is keeping them altogether and organized. I did find a stand at one point (sold separately) for a cordless vacuum, which seemed to be the best option available for something like this. It’s unfortunate that a case or bag isn’t included to keep all these pieces together. Assembly is very easy. In fact, it takes longer to unbox the vacuum then it does to get started vacuuming. The head snaps onto one end of the wand while the motor assembly attaches to the other. One of the things I really like about this device is how incredibly easy it is to connect and disconnect pieces. This is what makes the vacuum so versatile in my opinion. The attachments connect directly to the motor assembly and it doesn’t take any heavy-lifting to get that accomplished. Out of the box, the vacuum did have a minimal charge to it and after only 2-4 minutes, it was dead. So, I recommend charging it before using it. My primary use of this vacuum is in our house, but I do use it in our cars, too. In our house, we have carpeted, ceramic tile, and linoleum flooring. I have used this vacuum on all those surfaces, as well as furniture upholstery, and small rugs. It works really well — even on the medium level suction, the vacuum picks up a ton of dirt and dust that you otherwise wouldn’t even see. As far as how it does with hair and fur, I’ve not had one issue with the vacuum getting jammed or the rotor getting stuck because of hair. the roller is designed in such a way that those materials just flow through to the dust bin. It’s almost magical. I’ve used a lot of vacuums in my life, but this one has been the best by far. It has no cord to deal with, a full charge is enough to get through the entire house, and it’s very easy to clean out.

Powerful Cordless Vacuum but lacks latest features

Assembly: ---------------- One of the easiest vacuums to assemble. The parts are of high quality and are well designed with a clip-on to assemble and change accessories with ease. Display: ------------ This vacuum does NOT have an LCD display which will show the remaining time. This only has an LED display (like in the older models) which will indicate the remaining battery through 3 bars. Unlike latest Dyson vacuums, this does not show remaining time counter and maintenance alerts like filter cleaning. Ease of use: ------------------- Using a cordless vacuum has a lot of advantages. It’s extremely useful to reach few places that I was never able to reach with a corded vacuum, like under the bed, over the blinds, air conditioning/ heating vents and we don’t have to move around the tables, desks anymore. This vacuum has a trigger switch that needs to be pressed all the time. Its a bit annoying having to do that. This weight of the machine rests on the hand and after using for some time, hand feels sore. I had to switch between left and right hand throughout the usage. This transforms to a handheld vacuum for cleaning cars which is super useful. Suction: ------------------- Usually, cordless vacuum lacks a bit of suction, but Dyson V11’s suction is undoubtedly very good. However, I could not feel much difference compared to a corded vacuum. It cleans just about the same as the corded vacuum. This doesn't work well on a high pile rug. The motorhead roller doesn't roll on the rug and other accessories pulls the rug off the floor. Cleaning tiles and hardwood floor is extremely easy though. Dust accumulation: --------------------------- Dyson has shown their ingenuity in the design of motorhead with hair removal vanes. There wasn't a single hair tangled on the roller brush, they were clearly accumulated on the dust bin, and it was so easy cleaning. This is a bagless vacuum and emptying the dust bin is a very easy process. This can be washed as well if required. Filters: ---------- This comes with HEPA filters that arrests allergens and dust. This is also washable and requires cleaning every month or so based on the usage. Noise: --------- I am amazed by how low the overall noise levels are. I don’t mean its silent. But for a vacuum, the noise is on the lower side. Its definitely less noisy compared to a corded vacuum. Tools and Accessories: --------------------------------- Apart from the obvious – the vacuum, wand, charger this comes with following accessories – - Motorbar cleaner head – this comes with hair removal vanes which is very useful because they do not allow hair to twist or bind up and slow down or wreck the roller part. An ingenious and very practical design undoubtedly! - Hair screw tool – this can be used to vacuum pet beds which collects pet hair without any fuss. - Stubborn dirt brush - Mini soft dusting brush - to avoid scratches on the objects - Mattress tool - to clean upholstery and mattress - Combination tool – Brush and wide nozzle, to switch between needs - Crevice tool - for narrow edges - Up-top tool to reach up-top like top of the blinds - Extension hose - Wand clip Usage time ------------------- A full charge of battery lasts 40-45 minutes on “Medium” mode. This mode can be used for carpets. On Boost mode it lasts about 15 minutes which provides extra suction clean On Eco mode it lasts a little over an hour. Overall with medium mode it is possible to clean a two bedroom apartment on a single charge. Charging time ------------------- After a complete drain, it takes about 4 hours to charge the vacuum to 100%. Conclusion: ------------------- Overall, if one prefers a cordless vacuum, Dyson is a very good choice. However, there are few Dyson models with advanced display options than this one. They show the remaining time which is fairly accurate and also shows some maintenance alerts like when to clean the filters, if something is stuck on the motorhead etc. I would recommend to go for those models which cost about the same as this one. If you don't really care about those features and purely in terms of usability as a cordless vacuum, I would recommend this product.

I love this vacuum. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats between myself and my roommates and this hand held vacuum holds up to the fur. I originally got this for the stairs because carying my animal ball up and down was a pain. I use this over my animal ball most days. The battery lasts forever. I can vacuum my house 4 times before i need to charge it. I dont even need to use boost mode to notice a big difference in my carpet. The tools are great. I can use this on furniture, hard surfaces, carpet, rugs, my car! I got this on sale but knowing what i know now i would have paid full price as well. Hands down one of my favorite purchases.

This latest purchase of a Dyson cordless is proving to be the finest one yet. It is VERY powerful and easy to move around everywhere but on stairs but then I am handicapped so that is to be expected. I cannot recommend Dyson products enough. Including this latest purchase, I own 3 of their vacuums and 6 of their air purifiers. Quality is a hallmark of Dyson and this vacuum has it! The charge lasts a looooong time and battery indicator along with the auto-select feature for vacuuming strength is great! Highly recommend? YES!!!!

This has made a tremendous difference in ease of clean up and works great in picking up my border collies pet hair! Love the charge time and being able to know when to clean the filter. Love it

This vaccuum is a game-changer. Our last one was clunky and old, and didn't pick things up as easily anymore. This vaccuum is definitely worth the price. Lightweight, powerful, and super easy to charge and store away...my husband and I are actually obsessed with it. I hate vaccuuming, and I might even *enjoy* vaccuuming with this little buddy.
