Customer Ratings & Reviews

This is my first cordless. It isn’t as strong as a plug in, however it is pretty powerful. For simple everyday jobs it works very well. The downside would be the batter power. It lasts about 20 min on max mode

Bought this alongside a Dyson air purifier. Gotta say Dyson makes some quality products! Use this mainly for our carpeted stairs and down stairs living room and it works great!

This is my fifth Dyson. I have had every older model and gave my kids the power corded ones as I bought this battery powered one. BEST decision I ever made.

Easy to assemble and very good for pet hair. Cleans well and is simple to empty. Not too heavy for battery-operated.

Great little vacuum is to use and handle. Would buy again.

Love the way it clears hair off the roller and puts it into the waste container. Also, so glad it has a filter on the exhaust air. It doesn't blow in your face now.

Great product. Light weight and versatile. Easy to use on stairs, vacuuming car. Great on carpet and non-carpet floors. Worth every penny.

I was looking for a powerful, yet lightweight vacuum and that is exactly what I got. I love that I can clean all the floors in my apartment with ease. This product is amazing!

So far so good :-). I’ve owned the larger corded vac previous. This is just as powerful, cordless, and takes up a lot less room!

This is not the first Dyson I have purchased, and it likely will not be the last! Dyson demands a premium for their products, but they have yet to disappoint. The V8 Animal Cord-Free Stick Vacuum is perfect for a quick clean up of dog hair, crumbs, or any debris that ends up on the floor. It is perfect for a quick tidy before guests arrive, and an easy way to vacuum stairs. The beater bar in the powered head doesn't quite have the power of an upright vacuum, but it is far superior to the vacuum motor driven versions on certain canister models. It powers through ordinary carpets, but I wouldn't say that this unit replaces the larger upright vacuums for deep cleaning, especially on a thick pile carpet. The wall mounted charging dock is convenient and keeps this unit ready for action. Battery life is sufficient for any tidy up work, and lasts as long as the desire to vacuum. You may want more wall-mounted storage for accessories, available online as an inexpensive add-on. The dust bin is a little bit small, and newer versions may offer other benefits, but the price and powered brush head attracted me to this one, and it suits my needs just fine. This is a perfect addition to a powerful upright for a whole-house solution with a range of carpets and hard floors. For an apartment or smaller area, this unit might be all you need.

Best vacuum I have purchased. Got it for our camper, will definitely get one for my home too... Lots of suction and so convenient and easy to use.

It is not to heavy and very easy to use. The parts are also easy to clean. Price is ok for the value.

Amazing power! Worth the hype. The only thing I can sorta complain about is the battery life when you put it on max power.

The best vacuum I have ever purchased! It’s light, heavy duty and cordless. My daughter vacuums almost everyday and she doesn’t like cleaning.

Easy to set up, easy to use. So light weight. Great vacuum to use if you have a bad back.

Best cordless vacuum Long battery life Maneuvers anywhere easily Cleans very well Easily dumps after each use No hair around bar

Gave this to my parents as a gift. Both love it power and light weight of this product. Would recommend this to anyone to use for themselves or as a gift

I planned to buy Dyson v6. However, I read customer reviews for Dyson v8 that made me to buy it. The machine works great. This is light weight and suctions very well.

This has been the best experience in keeping floors clean during pandamic season. It is very powerful and light weight.

Wow! After using the Dyson on my rug, I was amazed at how much it picked up! I totally recommend! It’s lightweight and I love the different pieces!
