I absolutely love these. I never use earbuds because of the cords always get in the way. FINALLY a solution!! Sound quality is actually pretty good loud enough. The bass isn't to powerful but I don't listen to hip-hop so it's not an issue. I hear people complain about dropping off. However I haven't had to much trouble with that I think it all depends on the phone as well. I am definitely loving these and would recommend them. For me this is a game changer and a welcomed innovation and I hope others follow suit. I really don't have any qualms about this product. A little pricey but if you have the money or a techie that loves music. Go for it!

I would have given this 5 stars if it was able to answer calls... otherwise everything works great.. you will get a full 2 1/2 hours of music, enough for a good gym workout (despite what the box says).

terrible sync'g capabilities. Once connected to my iphone, it doesn't keep connected. Sometimes one ear piece can connect but not both. does hold a charge in the casing or out of the casing. Just an overall bad product but great concept.

I started following Earin's progress shortly after their Kickstarter ended. I had began looking around for a pair of wireless earbuds that I could wear at work that would not interfere with my job. After seeing their Kickstarter page, I knew these were the ones I wanted.
So I patiently awaited for them to be available. And waited. And waited. Then I heard they started shipping and shortly after were available on their website. After two failed attempts at getting them on their site, I gave up.
Then I heard one day they were showing up at Best Buy stores (and even before Kickstarter backers had even gotten theirs) After a couple of weeks, I walked into my local Best Buy and found them.
I had been reading reviews of them, and noticed they were getting mixed reviews. Some said they were great. Other said they were awful and to stay away. After debating for a day or two, I gave in and bought a pair. This is my honest review after about a month of using them.
I'll start off with the primary reason I wanted these. I wanted to be able to listen to music, while at work. However, technically I'm not suppose to as I am a machine operator. So I wanted a wireless earbud that I could just wear in one ear and have my other ear free to be able to hear my surroundings. I also needed something small and discreet, to be able to get away with wearing them.
Earin met both of those criteria. They truly are the worlds smallest and fit very comfortably in my ear. In the box came two pairs of the Comply foam tips, and one pair of the standard rubber tips you're use to seeing with the in-ear style buds. So far I've only used the rubber tips and they fit great in my ear. I've not had any problem with them falling out at all or any discomfort with them being in my ears.
The sound quality, to me, sounds great. I'm no audiophile but to me the music comes in very clear. So no complaints there.
Other positives I can list are the ability to pair either the left or right individually so only one can be used at a time. During an 8 hour shift I never have to worry about them being dead and I use one then once it's dead swap it with the other and let it charge. The charging capsule/carry case is very nice, lightweight and sleek looking. And while on the subject of looks, the packaging itself is very nice. Also, I've seen some people complain about not having a mic built in, but I bought these for the sole purpose of listening to music and don't want a mic in them. The addition of a mic would only raise the cost or make the buds bigger. I enjoy the simplicity of them.
Now on to the cons. First off, yes, there are connection issues sometimes. I rarely use both at the same time, but the few times I have the right bud does seem to cut out at times. However, since I mostly use them one at a time, this isn't an issue I'm worried about. Also almost every time I remove one from the charging capsule and connect it to my iPhone, it will connect, then after a few seconds disconnect. Fixing this is just a matter of reconnecting, then most times it's good to go. On a few occasions, it won't repair, so I'll have to place it back in the charger for a second or two, remove it and try again. It always reconnects on the second attempt. And there have been a few times where it will just disconnect after 2 or 3 songs, where again, I have to place it back in the charger, take it out and connect again. All of these are a minor annoyance, but nothing that can't be fixed within a matter of a few seconds.
Battery life is kinda up in the air. I wish it held it's charge longer, but can understand that due to it's small size it has a small battery and thus can't hold a charge more than a few hours. However, only using one does in fact extend the battery life.
Lastly, the cost. After tax I paid about $327 dollars for these which I feel to be just a bit expensive especially considering it doesn't have all the extra features such as a mic that I've seen in other wireless earbuds on the market here lately that cost the same. I feel that the cost should be cheaper considering all they are good for is listening to music.
Would I recommend these to a friend? Yes and no. If you're dying right now to have a solid pair of wireless earbuds that are light weight and comfortable and don't mind the minor hassle of having to reconnect them from time to time, I'd say get them. But if you feel you can wait, then wait. I'm hoping the price of this technology will eventually drop and perhaps they'll be able to improve on them in the future. Earin has a good thing going for them. It's not perfect by any means, but the potential is there.

Great wireless Earbuds

I bought these earbuds when bestbuy started carrying them and I absolutely love them. The earbuds allow you to connect them independently which is great for when you only want to use one ear bud. They only last for about 3hrs and are very well built. I have experienced some drop out issues from the right earbud but this happens very rarely and only lasts for about 1 second, the earbuds fit comfortably in my ear and are extremely light. The earbuds come with 2 sets of foam tips and one pair of silicon tips that feel great in my ear. Earin has made an app (which isn't required for you to use the earbuds) for the earbuds that allow as you to control the sound balance between the left and right earbud and you can give them a bass boost the app also allows you to moniter how much of a charge is left in the earbuds. The capsule that houses the earbuds is made of aluminum and feels very nice and sturdy in my hand and the best part of all is that it isn't too heavy to put in your pocket (you don't feel like your lugging around a mini brick) the capsule also automatically charges the earbuds when not in use and you can get 3 full charges out of it before you have to charge the capsule. I have been using these on an iPod touch 5th gen. These earbuds sound great and were totally worth the money I paid for them. ,

Before purchasing them, I researched these headphones extensively through Earin's kickstarter message board, facebook page, and sites like this one. I purchased as part of the second round of pre-orders (which were a mess, more on that later...) and received my set ~early January, 1 month ago.
Cons:
- <1 second dropouts, very rarely for me. Early batches like those sent to bestbuy, "kickstarter" versions, and presale #1 seem to have some sets with much, much worse connectivity problems
- Some are reported to not work out-of-the-box, BB should be no trouble for returns/exchanges, but the supply is currently very limited and...
- Small company (Earin, not BB), overwhelmed = awful customer service across the board, as seen through their delayed responses (or none at all) to technical problems and their botched presales with a crippled site
- Have to reconnect the headphones to the charging capsule to retry a connection or establish a new one, a minor inconvenience
- Require an app to stay connected for long periods on iPhone, workaround possible with jailbreak/activator app use; may be better on android or at least easier to work around
Pros:
- Great battery life, I very rarely run them down; If you go mono and alternate, they will literally last all day
- Capsule is very compact and looks great; Make sure to put the back of the buds in contact with the charger and then click the front/in-ear portion into place w/ the rubber for best use
- Very small, as small or smaller than the earbud portion of my wired earbuds
- Work well with my old Acer Windows 10 laptop and with my iPhone 6
- Convenient for exercising
- Long range in my experience: across the house, may be device dependent
Finally, I recommend searching Ebay for e-cig pouches as a protectice case for your capsule: some suppliers will make them to your specified dimensions, 3 and 3/4 inches in length x 7/8 inches in diameter. I recommend these, but with the caveat that there is some likelihood that the ones you buy may have issues, especially if they have the word "kickstarter edition" or something similar engraved on them.

I have to say that I had a terrible experience trying to order these from Earin directly. I have to say all the trouble was worth getting them from Best Buy. They have a fantastic sound and couldn't be more easy to use. This is a first generation product that does come with those issues. Be sure to not let the charging pack run dead or the headphones will die as well. It has a few dropouts and one time didn't charge while plugged in. Overall I would recommend these if you like the latest and greatest.

great sound for truly wireless earbuds. The fit is snug and shuts out all sound so you don't have to blast the volume to hear your music. I use my pair primarily at the gym while running and don't experience any discomfort or need to adjust them to stay in my ears. I actually forget that I'm wearing headphones sometimes. I also use them on my subway commutes to work. You may experience the quick right ear disconnect, but it happens so quick that it's not an issue at all, also happens so infrequent that it's hardly worth mentioning. The headphones tuned out to be exactly what I needed, very happy with the purchase.

Picked these up at my local Best Buy after reading a few reviews on the Ear In wireless ear buds online. As an Elite member knew I would have plenty of time to test them out and return them. After over a month of use I will definitely be keeping these! The Ear In Bluetooth buds work like magic. While I've been using Bluetooth headphones for a long while now, and you can get some that attach via cord and go around your neck for a low price these days, its a truly liberating experience like no other to be 100% truly cordless. Now, this is a first gen product and I imagine there are some improvements to be made, including (1) price. $250 is pretty steep, would hope to see them drop down to $199. (2) Battery life: mine last between 1.45-2.05 hours per charge when running them in stereo mode. You can use one at a time and they are supposed to last longer but I've not attempted this. Of course you can charge them in your pocket with the included storage case up to three times which is handy. I really use them while running and walking and seldom go over 2 hours, so not that big a deal. (3) connectivity issues: every now and then one of the speakers will disconnect for a split second. I suspect there are several reasons for this, including wireless interference from my Bluetooth enabled smartwatch and my cell phone shaking up and down as I run or walk. It usually reconnects within one or two seconds and is not that big a deal at all as it happens so infrequently and I am busy exercising. When I sitting down or even laying down listening to an audio book and am not moving much, the connection is rock solid. (3) The only frustrating thing is there is only one light to indicate charging in the battery case, but you have to make sure both buds are properly seated in the case. A couple of times the L bud was not quite seated all the way and therefore was dead and I had to wait. In the future, would be nice to have two separate led indicator lights for each ear bud when docked to charge.

These are not bad. They sound good (remember to use the right sized insert for your ear and give it a twist once inserted). A lot of negative reviews for dropping but in my opinion these are good at what they do and how they do it. Does the right ear drop? Yes, from time to time. Especially outside with nothing to rebound the signal off of for the right ear to receive. However, I have found that when it does, I raise my right hand about 6 inches from my right ear and it comes back. Understanding how this technology works can save a lot of grief. However, if you are looking for 100% perfection, then I would hold off.

I bought these wireless headphones knowing full and well that this product was a kickstarted funded. I also knew there were already complaints about the right-side earbud fading in and out. However, my wife needed something for running and she is partially deaf in her right ear. She tried them for a few days and said they were great at staying in her ears and she never had to worry about them falling out. They took some use to with connecting to her phone, but the sound was amazing. Later on she decided that she would want to go for long bike rides with them and maybe even swimming. This posed an issue as these earbuds are not water proof and my wife was too afraid to use them on when it was raining. So she gave them to me. I tried using them in the office so that I could listen to music with the freedom of no wires, but as I am not deaf in my right ear, the fade out and in routine was too much to bear. The battery time is also minimal; Earin augments this with the capsule charged, but it still takes time away from you when you like to listen to music all day. All in all the technology just isn't quite there yet in my opinion, but the overall ergonomics are spot on.

The sound quality is great! Connects to iPhone easily, though I've had issues connecting to other devices. if you're only going to listen to music saved to your library these are great but if you're like me and stream music (for ex. Pandora) Dont buy these, every couple minutes the Bluetooth is disconnected and must place the headphones back in case and take them back out to reconnect..Spoke to customer service and was told they didn't test all music platforms.

Too Many Issues

Great concept but not ready for sale. The developer needs to address the pairing issue as it is difficult and annoying to connect with my iPhone. I understand only the left bud actually pairs and you need to keep your device as close to the left bud as possible or you'll experience interference. Another issue is charging, the concept is great using the small case but the way they snap n feels awkward and there is no indicator of charge status other than a red light that is on when they are charging or an occasional green that I believe means full. It needs an indicator that it is either in the process of charging (blinking light?) or fully charged. I would also like to see a way to force them to pair or display charge status. Finally, I haven't figured out if there is a way to turn them on or off.
Wait for the kinks to get worked out because if it worked as intended, it would be amazing. The sound is excellent... when it works.

These headphones in theory are great items. Who wouldn't want the smallest most compact earphones you can buy? I did, however they are too good to be true. This is my second pair, and both have had the same problems, unfortunately I am beyond my 15 days to return this pair and am stuck with $300 pieces of junk. So here's the problem. They will only connect 25% of the time, and that is a high estimate. If I get them to pair once, they will not pair the second time I try. I then have to delete them, put them back in the charging capsule and try again. That's when it will work 1 out of 4 times. As stated this is my second pair, as the first pair dos the same thing.
When they do work, the sound is incredible and it blocks out background noise well, so you only get pure music, but the technology is not up to par for the Bluetooth application.

These headphones are really quite amazing. They are one of few if any completely wireless headphones. They weigh next to nothing and are extremely comfortable. They come with three different styles of tips along with some rubber pieces to help them stay in your ears if you so desire. The charging capsule works for up the three different charges and all in all the whole system just looks cool. Only downside is that there isnt a microphone, but they are wireless earphones...wireless!

I do love these headphones and use them exclusively. I love how they are portable to charge in the pod and being able to do things with them without having the bulkiness of headphones is great. There is some connectivity issue. Occasionally, one ear will go out and comeback in. However, I would overlook that minor flaw for the ease. So, not 5 stars yet, but if you fix the connectivity issue, it will be a golden product.
