This robot is very quiet , efficient, easy to clen , very helful.

The mopping part of it is decent. I mainly use it to vacuum pretty good at collecting dog hair.

I have owned various robot vacuum from the roomba s9 plus to t8 aivi, and this is just my personal experience. This robot it's the best bang for your buck for what you get, the navigation and speed at which this vacuum cleans is amazing. The aivi and this thing are identical minus the front camera on the t8 aivi compared to t8 plus and it's front facing laser setup. I contacted deebot which they advised me there same thing. The inclusion off the self emptying base amazing to have at the price point. I have a 2600sq foot home, and this puppy has no issue with navigating and cleaning the home. The s9 would always get stuck or not complete a cleaning that I had scheduled and so far this vacuum in my experience has surpassed the roomba. I highly recommend this vacuum.

So far so good. We first started out with as Shark and it was ok. We probably would have kept it but in the second week of ownership it kept bumping into things that would cause it to stop. So we took it back and got the ECOVACS. PROS: Mapped the house in two days. (shark took 10 days) 3D obstacle Detection is great hasn't bumped into anything that would cause it to stop. (shark started bumping into things after one week and would just stop... then you'd have to find it and get it going again) Do like the auto empty and when its low on battery it goes back to charging station. Price was a Deal of the Day. saved $300 also has an app for the phone. does allow you to clean different rooms rather than whole house. CONS: Don't like the fact that you have to buy bags for it. Probably better for allergies. 1 bag last us about a month. (one thing we did like about the SHARK was it just filled up in the base container and all you had to do was walk it over to the trash, click a button and everything released out)

Super impressed by this robot. The mapping is neat and can navigate pretty well. Previous to this robot I had only seen the robots that bounce off of things, this is much improved. I like having straight vacuum lines and this does that pretty well. Only complaint is when the bin is about half full of hair, the auto empty does not work very well. Ended up liking it so much we bought a second so we wouldn’t have to move the one up and down stairs. Getting both on sale was the real deal.

My review is based on having a apartment with hardwood floor and a bedroom with low carpet. I took one start because of the setup process that is indeed easy but the app never requested access to local networks on iOS so it took me one hour to figure it out and 10 seconds to setup once that permission was given. I took half start because it worked great on the carpet and rug area and small particles of dirt it struggled really bad to pick up some dried beans I had dropped on the ground. I took half start because mopping is meh. I had to set the water discharge to extreme to see it mopping something otherwise it was more like a dry Swiffer Navigation was amazing and it mapped my house on the second try( the first failed because I didn't give it enough clearance on a tight corridor so it ignored the other side). The second run worked flawless. Omg the battery in this thing lasts forever. I vacuumed a 800 sqft apartment twice and mop it after to test and it still had battery from the charge it came with in the box. It cleaned the carpet on my bedroom better then I do because it went under the bed Considering returning it and paying more for a roborock s6max that will pick up beans if I drop like I've seen from some of my friends

I love this guy!!!!! Such a great product - keeps my house super clean, easy to use and maintain, and a GREAT price compared to the other brands and options. It does sometimes get "lost" or stuck, and the maps can get messed up every so often, but it's fairly easy to fix, and never causes too much trouble. Can't believe I lived without this for so long!!

Better than Neto, rivals roomba with a few asterisk. Navigation is the best, the dock and self cleaning are on par, extraction bar is not the best but works. Battery life is better than roomba. Power is on par or better. App is junk (can’t even initiate a bin empty manually) in some ways, better in others (mapping live is cool). Real miss is the mop...it just doesn’t work.

Taking this back to Best Buy today. The self emptying dust bin does not work. The first time we plugged it in, it emptied as epected. It has never done so again. We get an error and it stops. The app gives you suggestions to try, but none of them worked. I contacted the company and they suggested I try the same things the app suggested and requested a video. Finally told me to ship it to them so I did. Got it back yesterday and nothing has changed. It still won't empty. I did give it 2 stars because when it was vacuuming it did a great job. I really liked the mapping feature and loved that it didn't navigate by bumping into things. I really wanted this to work, but if I can't get the bin to function, I am not keeping it.

bought it 3 years ago, finally having issue over the last 3 years, its been wonderful and it saved me hundreds / thousands of hours cleaning. wonderful product well well worth the cost

The vacuum as a whole is pretty great, excellent mapping. My only gripe is the auto empty feature is pretty bad.. More times than not I have to manually empty the box because it doesn’t empty everything, not to mention the bags in the dock last a solid 2 weeks and are not cheap to replace.

Amazing vacuum, efficient, quiet, laser works amazing well. Big problems: anytime it get stuck or something not planned happen the map bug and has to be redone... Also Cannot avoid the auto emptying of the vacuum into the base station (would like to vacuum at night but too noisy when emptying)

When I first bought this product I was in doubt whether to keep it or return it. A week before I had purchased the T5, which I loved by the way, I returned that one and decided to try out the t8+ because I could attached the vibrating the new mopping system and also could have the emptying bin already. I also say the T8 AVIS and wanted to see what the differences were between these two. I spent a long time doing research about it. It comes out that both models do the same thing using different technologies. The T8+ uses 3D mapping to avoid obstacles and the T8AVIS uses a camera. The only difference is that the camera on the T8 AVIS can also be used to get live views through the robot. This is something I don’t really need so I decide to stay with the T8+. So far it has been greag

Hands down better then Roomba Robot Vacuum! I’ve had Roomba in the pass found myself babysitting the robot vacuum because of errors also didn’t like how Roomba bumps my furniture all the time and also battery life sucks on Roomba vacuums. This ECOVACS T8 robot vacuums is a game changer with its LiDAR Technology it use to navigate through the house the days of bumping into stuff is a thing of the past. The T8 vacuum also works in the dark!!!!!which you can’t do with Roomba vacuums do to the technology it uses to navigate.The T8 robot cleans my downstairs floor and upstairs with out needing to re-change and still has battery left over the company states 3 hour battery life I think it’s on point. Love it!!! Cleaning is on point every run.A++++++++++

This robot is a good vacuum but if you want a near maintenance free experience thisnisnt the one. The dust bin hardly ever clearsnon its own and the robot gets stuck on wires often. I also dont like the app that muxh and its confusing to get around to everything.

We named our vacuum Karen right away. Upgrade from a Deebot 500 and it is fantastic! Some mapping issues but a quick search has provided working solutions. Even added additional accessories which make the mop feature more of a scrubbing feature which is one of thr main reasons I purchased it to begin with.

Great 3 hour battery,but it takes forever to recharge. Great mapping navigation lidar system. Self emptying bin work really great, did have a hard time emptying carpet fluff the first time,but notice it work every time if I took off the mopping attachment and didn't open the top cover to watch. Can't beat the price at $449.00.

Love it. Not too loud to use while home. Does the whole 2200 sq ft house (1 story hard floors) on one charge. Have run it multiple times without it ever getting stuck.

Ecovacs has done a really good job with the vacuum part of this robot but the mopping feature is not even close to being it called a mopping robot. But taking nothing away from the actual vacuuming power it carries. Love the ability to vacuum along with great navigation and mapping system Ecovacs has manned to achieve !
