The Elgato Face Cam MK. 2 is a pretty good webcam, and one of the best at this price range. The picture looks really good, even when it has less than optimal lighting, but you'll still need a decent lighting setup for it to look truly great. The software is very intuitive and easy to get to grips with. All the options to adjust different camera settings are very welcome, and leaving some of them set to auto-adjust still produces great results. However, I think the true gem of the software is their background removal option which was surprisingly accurate even when under low light conditions. It comes with several stock backgrounds, some animated, most of them look really good and you add your own custom backgrounds or explore Elgato's digital store for more. The vast majority of those are paid unfortunately. One last note on the software, for the streamers, there is a lot of functionality between programs like OBS and this software, opening the door to a lot of creative shenanigans. The build quality feels impressive too. Very sturdy and it feels nice and snug when clamped on my monitor. And it is really easy to adjust and move it after you've already placed it. One small complaint though, it is a bit fiddly getting it at the exact right angle and you may need a separate tripod if you're also particular about that. But all in all, a pretty good webcam that does much more good than it does mediocre. I would recommend it highly if this if you're trying to not completely blow the bank.

This is a great camera for Whatnot streaming, work meetings, and showcasing products. The video quality is clean and clear, and the Elgato Camera Hub app makes setup simple, even for beginners. I was impressed enough to purchase a second camera so I can run multiple camera angles during my eBay and Whatnot shows. Next on my list is the Elgato Prompter, which I think will help streamline my workflow and further improve the quality of my content.

Great quality webcam, easy to use and very clear image and I highly recommend it for streaming especially if you can afford it!

I stream a lot and have used my old vlogging camera for years but I wanted to upgrade to higher picture quality and this has done just that. The coloring is hard to get right but for the price I’d say it’s more accurate then other cams I was researching. So if you are looking for low budget high quality cam this works great. Just note it does not have autofocus. But as long as you’re not planning to run around the room you should be fine :) and that also helps with the odd focus blur we get on other cams.

Quality is very good, easy to set up and get running.

Other than the fact that you must have Nvidia GPU to use some of its AI features this is an excellent streaming WebCam

Worked for about 2 weeks before it wouldn’t turn on or be recognized byPC. Luckily, Elgato has great customer service and replaced the unit upon return. Good webcam overall

Such a great webcam, wow! I used to use the C922 (don't remember if it ended with 'x' or not) It's around the same price and leagues worse. This webcam is amazing. Right out of the box it works clearly and crisp with discord and obs. I will be using this for the foreseeable future until I upgrade to a DSLR

It's a pretty good webcam, though I'd recommend not using HDR as you lose the fine details in your face when you do. I would also recommend a decent key light to enhance the video quality.

This beauty plugged into my linux pc and started right away. The picture is crisp and bright and I can't wait to use it for my tutoring sessions!

Very good quality camera at 1080p at 60 frames per second with very good software and compatibility with various web calling and streaming programs and above all from a well-known and safe brand like El Gato.

Great face cam that’s huge improvement compared to built in camera of the laptop I head, it’s able sit on top of laptop or monitor with its clamp but also has option to be screwed onto a tripod which I did to allow you for added stability. Plug download driver from elgato to make sure it properly works

quality is fine for someone just starting out. definitely would want to upgrade to a 4k camera later on

For 1080p I don’t think there’s a better webcam on the market, of all I’ve tried this one blew me away.

I love this webcam! Crystal clear visuals, perfect for streaming on Twitch, or for video calls on Zoom or Discord. Elgato makes fantastic audio and video products, and the Facecam Mk 2 definitely deserves a place on the shelf with some of their best products. I use my Facecam Mk 2 with an Elgato Wave 3 and an Elgato HD60X for content creation, and it's definitely a winning combo. Five outta five, for sure.

That’s was my first ever webcam and I still use it to this day, it’s that good! Being able to capture 4k resolution and 60 frames is quite the accomplishment. Would totally recommend!
