I needed lighting for my home office that didn't suffer from bright spots that create glare on my monitor or halos on my camera THAT also didn't heat up my workspace. My old solution included halogen bulbs and florescent bulbs along with multiple layers of diffusion and the old solution would end up warming up my working area more than 10 degrees warmer. The Elgato Key Light Air provides tunable light (Warm 2900K to Bright White 7000k) and variable brightness offering up to 1200 lumens per lamp. I have two of these lights. The price for the lights seems high but the value exceeds the price. The Elgato Control Center Software on Windows works but sometimes the WiFi connection between the lights and the app end up missing one of my lights or the other. (This typically means I need to reboot my Internet router/modem.) The lights pair on the 2.4GHz WiFi so RF interference and congestion can be an issue when pairing. The solution to this issue is to move the light closer to the router and pair the lights using a mobile phone or tablet. The Elgato Control Center is also available on Mac, IOS and Android. And the Elgato Control Center will allow you to connect with any Elgato device connected to the same network so there is no need to create or remember a username and password. The included stands hold the lights stable, include wire management and are adjustable. The Elgato Light Key Air is also compatible with the Elgato Multi Mount (which I also use). The Key Light Air compliment the Elgato Ring Light and light up the Elgato Green Screen evenly so I can easily add green screen effects to my video presentations. The power brick is a bit large and will block additional outlets on many power outlets and strips. The power cord is considerably short which limits placement of the lights unless you have an extension cord. (I recommend getting a 5.5mm/2.1mm barrel cord extension rather than using heavy extension cords for the power). An excellent light that helps minimize shadows

Very easy to install. Simple setup with my stream deck. I've noticed a substantial increase in the quality of my lighting on stream. No noticeable heat increase when they are on. Best purchase I've made for my stream since getting a proper capture card. I will be replacing all my stream lighting with these in the near future.

I’ve been using the Keylight Air for over a year now and there are pros and cons. The light itself is fantastic. The quality of the light it puts off is great for any professional setting. The size and weight make it great if you need to move it around a lot. Now there is a HUGE con that almost caused me to return it. The light is solely controlled via WiFi. There are no controls on the light itself other than a power button. It will lose connection to wifi quite often and you’ll have to mess with it to get it to communicate so it can be frustrating. The good news is it saves your previous settings so if you need to just set it and forget it you’ll be happy. I’d give it 5 stars if it had a better connection method.

Great light, easy to setup for content creation and great app to adjust it. The app was a lil challenging to set up the air but it’s a great addition for YouTube video recoding at your desk or more light for whatever.

This device is very easy to set up and provides more than enough light for a small setup. I bought two of them to cover the left and the right side evenly since I am in a small space. The only gripe I have besides the price is that you cannot control the lighting without the software. Its not that big of a deal since I do have my phone and can operate the lights from there. But if you don't have your WIFI hooked up then you pretty much out of luck and can only turn them off manually on the back. Having wired connection wont work with these lights and you have to have some sort of WIFI to change the colors and options in the software so you can sync them. as long as your aware of that then you are perfect. I love these lights.

This is a quality key light product, and is in line with the quality products that Elgato is known for. It is Wi-Fi capable, and connecting it to my computer was a simple, both on Mac and PC. From there, I was able to download the control center to manage the setting of the Key Light Air like changing brightness and contrast to meet my needs. I noticed that the key light was able to product more accurate light than some of the others that I tried, which I ultimately returned in favor of the Key Light Air. The base is very solid and works best for me, given the my desk is too thick for any type of clamping mechanism. I use the Key Light Air for video calls, product photography, working in the evening, and streaming, and it has been more than capable of handling any situation. I recommend it, and feel that it's worth the price!

Extremely easy to set up and install. Very bright and the app allows you to adjust the brightness and warm/coolness separately. If you own two of these, you can adjust either separately or as one which is a nice feature. Overall would definitely recommend, it has helped increase the quality of Zoom video for work meetings.

Let me tell you about the Elgato Key Light Air LED Panel. This thing is like having a mini stadium light right in your home office or studio. It's sleek, it's powerful, and it delivers the perfect lighting every time. BAM! You hit that power button, and it's game time. The brightness and color temperature are totally adjustable, so you can get the perfect light for any situation. It's like calling the perfect play—every single time. Plus, it's got a compact design that doesn't clutter your space. You gotta love that! This is the MVP of lighting solutions, no doubt about it. Five stars all the way!

The lighting is very good and is easy to use and adjust from my desktop. The light can be adjusted to be either very bright or dim, cool or warm. The built in diffuser keeps the light from blinding you on higher settings. It has a built in track on the stand for cable management. For the price, it’s a very good product.

Elgato has by far made some of the best products. Upgraded my lighting with 2 key light air and you can tell the improvement in quality during live streams. With these lights you don't have any other lighting in the room. I have mine on 20% and they are still almost to bright. Very good product would definitely recommend to any stream beginner or pro.

The product itself is great. Only flaw is the length of the power cord. It seems short for what it is used for.

Great light! It is super bright and has a broad spectrum from cool to warm. Also had a smooth output unlike some LED lights. It is diffused so it does not hurt my eyes. The only downside is that you cannot control the brightness or color without using the app. I wish it had physical buttons for that.

Work great very easy to use app and great lighting if you stream or make video’s well worth buying

Perfectly fit on the low spaced desk, 1 is good enough but its good to have 2 lights to get more details, easy to install and one time setup to connect on 2G wifi network then control via mobile, pc or stream deck.

Great lighting app ui is fast and efficient. It handles long gaming sessions with minimal heat.

Your picture on the camera depends on your ability to manipulate the light. The key light is just as your move the sunlight around the object you are aiming at. Good shots.

It looks sleek and is bright. Could have been brighter than 1,400 lumens or have it be rectangular than square shaped. The weighted base keeps it still on your table. It can get pretty tall in height when adjusting it. Like that you can use the Stream Deck to control the light

This item works very good….its the definition of perfect

When it works, it's fine. But it depends on WiFi -- there's no direct wired connection -- and the WiFi connection isn't dependable. Sometimes the light just loses its connection and becomes a useless brick. In the past, I've been able to get it working again with things like quitting the app and rebooting my machine. But this time, nothing works, and the 'help' suggestions border on nonsense. I submitted a detailed support request to El Gato and ... crickets. It's been a couple of days and I haven't heard anything. Meanwhile, I've got no light.

This is the second one I bought. I absolutely adore these lights and they get even better if you combine them with the stream deck. Definitely recommend
