I bought this for the sole purpose of just using as a monitoring device. I know people use it as a shortcut king but for me only one of the buttons is a shortcut. I am monitoring CPU/GPU/FPS and some other stuff as shown in the picture. The only reason it is a 4 stars instead of 5 is because it requires an external monitoring program to make that work. They should work on having their own full fledged monitoring side of this as HWINFO is kind of meh sometimes.

Coolest thing ever! I was unsure at first if it was worth the money, but it totally is! You have endless screens and things that you can do on this thing

Works very good for speeding up my workflow, makes it nice and easy to change camera angles, or mute a mic, adjust app volume, and all that fun stuff. At first, I thought it was a bit pricey but after using it for a while, it is definitely worth the investment

Great decision, i loved everything about it ! easy to set up & it wasn’t hard to learn how to put sounds and all the other stuff up there i recommend 100%

I am not a streamer. Heck, I don't even game much anymore. But I had to give up my gaming keyboard and return to using an ergonomic keyboard to avoid repetitive stress injury. While I admit that I miss the frivolous flashing light show, what I really miss was the macro keys, which I used for trivial things like special characters. Now I have rapid access to frequently-used special characters, media controls, single-button access to my NAS, router, etc. The keys have little screens on them. The automatic images are generally descriptive enough and highly customizable, and you can also create 72 pixel squared custom images for individual keys for further customization. The only minor complaint that I have is that if you want to open an app, you have to have a path. Apps installed from the Microsoft store and certain utilities built into Windows may not have a path that the user can easily get to. Thus, for Notepad and MS Paint, I had to create a batch file and and create a custom image of a screenshot of the start menu to have an icon.

I love this gadget it helps when I'm streaming or gaming. If you are someone that games regularly and uses multiple software this is ideal.

Works great for streaming!!! Endless combinations you can program. I do flight and racing sim and this has saved a considerable amount of time opening individual files one at a time. With a push of one button I can open my Microsoft flight simulator, Sim Dashboard, Head tracking software, and OBS Studio to prepare for my stream. I also added a stream button that opens up all my streaming apps, sound boards, volume controls, and more. Yes, you can make your own sound boards using your audio files allocated on your pc. Adding images to the buttons is easy...Even Animated GIFS !!!! I can go on and on with how this has changed my progress within my streaming. Not a streamer? Not a problem.... You can use this for work to open up files without having to search....Open your calculator, spreadsheets, and so much more..... You'll never run out of room on this thing....Add sub folders, additional pages, there's no limit!!!

Really convenient even as a non streamer I find that using this device really saves you time. I have my apps, website shortcuts, youtube music control, discord channels text chat and voice chats, discord mute and deafen on so I dont have to go back out to windows when Im in game. Definitely a must have even as a non streamer.

Using this as a custom button box for my race SIM, Easy to setup and looks great.

Purchased this for my church do to us adding a 3rd camera. I had the mini and for what we were doing it was good. Now I have plenty of buttons on 1 page instead of 2 pages. Highly recommend this if you don't want to have the knobs of the plus (I have this one personally and it's great too!) Can't go wrong with a stream deck,if you're reading this review then this is your sign to buy it.

We have made the decision to install the Elgato Stream Deck in our music mastering rooms. This addition will significantly streamline our workflow by reducing the number of keystrokes and simplifying the execution of various functions while working on our clients’ albums. These have allowed our interns to do some of the session setup which free the mastering engineers to keep the main rooms busy. Now that they are in place we are starting to incorporate them into our online streaming as well as the daily workflows around the main office. These are a great investment for any musician and a must for streamers.

This thing is great. For streaming, it allows for you to quickly and easily open up apps, move apps to the desired screen and location, adjust OBS settings on the fly, and make the streaming process easier. Productivity enhancements from this little macros machine makes adding scrpts, opening up specific folders and parts of apps quick and efficient. Basically you can use this to make your every day life easier, lazier, and more efficient. The store allows for easy installation of new free features that boost the value of the Stream Deck. YouTube helps you to learn how to boost all of these features. I honestly just thiught this would be a fun toy to play with, but it has made a lot more of my life in front of the PC that much more efficient, that in turns saves me time. I highly recommend the Stream Deck

Using to monitor thermals with HWInfo64, amazing addition to a desk setup for any use. A little pricey but worth it.

Okay, okay, I know that this is basically a glorified macros keypad... But glowy buttons with good texture are so sick!! I have run commands set up for website links and applications, complicated keystrokes for specific functions, scene changes for OBS, sound effects, and even a few of the tools that you can have on the deck, like a Pomodoro timer! I bought a cute icons pack on Etsy too so now it sparkles ☺️ Basically though, if you want a nifty little contraption with a soft button feel to play your keystrokes. GET THIS GUY!!

I bought the stream deck to help making streaming gameplay easier, but as a teacher I just kept thinking about how I could use this to save time when preparing lessons and even while teaching. I just convinced school to buy my department (English) one for each of us. My ONLY negative about this certain product is that you’ll wish you had gotten the bigger version. This version is 15 keys and as shown in pictures you can have multiple pages and multiple profiles in order to achieve more buttons, but the XL version has 32 keys, and I can tell you from experience it is more convenient to have that many options. But the XL is $250! The 15 key is only $150 so if you can’t afford the big one- this is a great alternative.

The best macro controller of all time is the Stream Deck XL. But hey, sometimes you don't need 2x the keys, or don't have the space in your workspace. Amazingly versatile.
