There really are no other batteries better than Energizers for long life under load and no worries about leakage (unless you store the depleted batteries for a very long time). One wrinkle with these 9V batteries is that, because of their unusually square corners, they won't fit in some devices unless forced and sometimes, not even then.

Great 9 volt battery for all your radio or electronic devices

This is the only battery to buy for smoke alarms, electrical combination locks, and devices you don't want to change the battery every 3 years. This has a 10 year life span!! The price is definitely higher but who wants to get on a ladder every three years?

We like to buy the lithium 9 volt batteries as they last longer in the smoke detectors.

I buy four a year for CO2 detector and smoke detector because they last.

I am a fan of Eveready Advanced Lithium Batteries. I originally discovered them when I purchased Nest Aware Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors. Batteries were included with this product. The most notable qualities are that they have dependable solid performance at lower temperatures where alkaline batteries will fail and these 9 volt batteries are completely encased in plastic for heavy duty and leakproof properties.

A bit pricey but does last a good while and worth it.

I was looking for the absolutely best, longest lasting battery for my smoke alarms, and information I gleaned from the internet, listed this brand and model as the longest lasting on the market. Since I have 9 smoke detectors in my house, and a elderly dog that is frightened by the beeping of weak batteries, I bought several of these batteries and will gradually replace all of the old ones at the first beep. Hopefully, these batteries will last long enough to see me through the next few years.

Because Lithium "primary" cells last longer than Alkalines, AND can deliver more current, AND have very long "shelf lives", I've switched to using them in my remote controls and Anything Else that uses Alkalines. Yes, they cost more than Alkalines, but I haven't had to worry about BATTERY LEAKAGE like I do with Alkalines and I have high confidence the Lithium-powered device will still work even if it's been "idle" for months at a time.

Good quality lithium 9 volt battery for my power/temp monitoring alarm system. Reliable, but expensive
