Although I love the movies, I wasn't much into gaming this game--until my brother taught me the ropes. I love it now.

Hella fun game to play with friends. Takes a minute to get used to the controls and what everything does and how the map works, but once you figure it out, it’s pretty easy to play.

Playing as a survivor in Evil Dead: The Game offers a fantastic cooperative shooter experience, though it’s not without its flaws. The level design can be a bit janky at times, leading to some frustrating and unfair deaths. Despite these issues, the game shines when you step into the role of the evil mastermind. The ability to mess with the other team in creative and fiendish ways is downright magnificent, making for a truly entertaining experience. Overall, it’s a thrilling game with a few rough edges.

I’ve played the game for close to 20 hours and I’ve had a ton of fun with it. First off, the visuals in this game are excellent. I think the story missions are fun and challenging. I’ve heard some people say they are too hard. I personally liked the challenge. The multiplayer mode is fun too. It’s got Battle Royale aspects where you search for better weapons and the weapons are shared amongst your team members. Then you have to complete some tasks in order to win the round. The border of the map also closes in as you move to the last task. You have several characters to choose from and you level them up to unlock new perks. You can also play as demons vs humans. The controls could use a little work and you can get hung up on obstacles which you’d think you could vault over but overall it’s still enjoyable. It will take you a while to unlock all perks for everyone. I could see losing interest in the game before then because it would take a lot of grinding. You have to do the same tasks for every multiplayer session so it could get old quickly. If they add more content, like new story missions and change the tasks of the multiplayer mode, it would increase the replay value. They have a solid start to the game and I hope they do bring more content and polish some of the rough edges. If you like Evil Dead and you want to put yourself in the shoes of Ash, I think you’ll enjoy the game.

Big fan of the Evil Dead franchise and th8s is a great addition. Geared towards online multi player but there's definitely still enough to enjoy playing solo.

A very scary and exciting game to play it keeps you on edge and entertained for hours at a time. Yoh get so caught up in the game that you don't notice hours have passed. Every chapter offers different powers and levels of possession as well as different weapons and spells. I do really recommend this game if your into dark scary game playing. It's like being inside the actual evil dead movie ypu get to drive the vehicles around and possess humans and trees.

Highly underrated gem of a horror title. Wish it had more single-player elements though. Great multiplayer action!

I am a fan of the Evil Dead franchise like you, prospective buyer, and I wanted to love this game. Single player mode amounts to a bad tutorial with no checkpoints or meaningful content. Multiplayer is simply awful, with both human and demon modes being unpleasant unless you enjoy grinding, cheap tactics, or being in cahoots with cheaters. The demon experience feels more like a sad parody of Pac-man than anything else. Humans have too many cheap tactics to count. This game will always have a disparity in its audience, with two extremes: either you are suffering losses with terrible gameplay or you will win after embracing cheapness and repetition.

Kinda disappointed in this game. Action and story not what I expected.

Great fun multiplayer game! Solo missions are fun as well!

If you're an Evil Dead fan or a fan of asymmetrical horror games such as Dead by Daylight and Friday the 13th, this game is definitely worth checking out. You can choose to fight against the deadites as some of your favorite Evil Dead characters like Ash Williams, Pablo Simon Bolivar, and recently added character Ruby Knowby or play as one of your favorite Demons such Henrietta or Eligos and try your best to wreak havoc and mayhem against the survivors! With the latest update they've also added a new Battle Royale mode called Splatter Royale so now you can mix and match the way you want to play the game :)

Very fun! I wish i could of got the limited edition version. But oh well for bots. This is just as good as Friday the 13th, but better. I love it. I finally can grab the game and play on my series x. 4k looks amazing and stunning. Big fan of evil dead!

The game is a lot of fun in co-op. The missions are rather difficult. The new last man... or deadite standing mode is fun as well. The matchmaking could be better but it's great for the price.

Fun game, simple wish there was a true campaign to it. But for the price it’s well worth all Evil Dead fans!!

This game is more fun than I thought it would be. If you like the evil dead series or movies there's a lot to like here. My only gripes is that its basically online only and a bit repetitive.

A bit hard to get into but fans should love this game

After discovering the Ash first the evil dead serious, I need something else. I was so sad when the season ended that I forgot they had made a game so as soon as I saw it in stock, I bought it!
