The perfect purchase! It’s hard to conceive not owning this device, I bought it because I have a new grandbaby who lives in another city. He gave me access to her and my son and daughter-in-law that I could not otherwise have a gained. Buying the device has been as great as owning it, Best buy made it easy

We purchased this for my 87 yr old grandmother to video chat family. It is perfect for that purpose. When not chatting, she loves that is scrolls pictures from various family members Facebook pages.

The bigger screen with positioning options is a big improvement. The louder clearer speakers make video chats and media viewing a better experience. The internet browser allows for better youtube and spotify access. And the bigger design doesn’t take up much space as the base is more compact.

We bought this so we're could easily video chat with family and friends. The Facebook portal makes it so much easier for chats with everyone, the camera zooms, pans, and follows us around creating a smooth steady video call, no more holding a phone or tablet to video chat this does it for you.

The 15.6" portal is the way to go, at least as your main portal device in the home. large screen, and being able to move it between portrait and landscape mode is great. Excellent sound quality too, rivalling a Sonos Speaker in sound quality.

Have had it for a day now. Love the product. Video and audio is excellent. Love not having to stay in one place while talking with loved ones. Feels like I’m face to face with the person on the other end.

Got this for our parents. Easy to set up and the screen size is great for viewing. No need to squint when using. Install is easy as long as you allow enough time for the software update and have your internet and Facebook passwords handy.

This was the fifth Facebook Portal Device we bought for our family. It makes keeping in touch with the family abroad so easy! The set up is very easy, packaging is very secure! The video quality is excellent, the fact that the camera follows you makes it feel like we are all in the same room! The voice quality is very clear, perfect for listening to music too! We added family photos to the screensaver that we update on a regular basis so everyone in the family who has Portal can see the new photos! The only thing we wish is the Portal would be available in Hungary and other European countries. It is complicated (and big) to carry on a plane and buy an adapter for the electric plug - but it is totally worth it! The call is great between a portal device and a phone but it is even better between two portal devices!

We have 4 adult children and 5 grandkids. For Christmas, we got each family a portal and we all now video chat many times a day. Extended family members are also now joining our calls. The grandkids can call and see us just by clicking on our icon. We all feel closer.

I love just wish it had more apps like Spotify and Netflix you can access YouTube through the browser. I have it in my kitchen and it works great to follow recipes. It has Alexa but I wish it would allow the drop in feature to and from other Alexa devices.

I’m really blown away by the quality of these Portals. We have the Portal TVs at my office, and I purchased these so my staff could put them at their house and work from home, and they have worked wonderfully! I didn’t realize that you can use these like a tablet... so surf internet, get apps, watch YouTube, espn, etc... it’s like having a tablet on a stand. I love the voice activation, and the camera is excellent. The sound quality is pretty good, but for the price, I think it’s better than expected. Expect to install updates the first 10-15 minutes after you plug this up.

This is an excellent tool to use for video calls. We bought this for my elderly father. It is easy for him to use and because of the large screen it is easy for him to interact with us when we call. I highly recommend this product.

I bought this for personal use, but because there was so much utility in it, I ended up just using it for work. We started doing hybrid meetings and the mics on this thing can really pick up audio well even in a large conference room. It can also fill a large room with sound to everyone on our calls can be clearly heard. clear. The fact that it also has Zoom conferencing makes it worth every penny. We can also throw on some music during breaks from Spotify. It has worked out better than I could have imagined. I only wish it had additional ports to hook up peripherals to it like and external monitor or projector when we need a bigger screen.

This is handy product. My daughter is able to take music lessons from her Grand dad without issue. The sound is good and Portal has many good uses. Unfortunately not many apps are supported; ie Facebook or Vevo. Instead you have to connect via website. Ain't nobody got time for that!

Great screen. Sometimes have issues with connecting via Facebook but think that is more of a cell or internet issue rather than the Portal itself. I have also enjoyed using it as a music player because sound is terrific.

The best on the market for video calls. You place it in one spot and the screen follows you around. Perfect for when student are away at school and it’s been great during social distancing.

Wow! This device is impressive! It’s massive screen makes video calling an experience! The smart camera is amazing and let’s you move about your home during your call! Call quality is hands down the best available!

We love our Portal. We love it so much we purchased several of them and gave them to our elders. So easy to set up. Very clear picture. Love the fact that the camera is able to zoom in as you walk away.

I absolutely love this. The picture is so clear. I specifically bought it just to face time with my family. I haven't tried the other things it offers only because all I cared about was the face time. Sure you can do it on your phone or tablet while you hold it but the portal is so much better and you don't have to hold it, plus you can move around the room while you talk and it follows you just like the video advertisement shows. I do feel it's original price is too pricey and even the sale price I bought it at because I got two they were $274 each. At one time they were $249 and that I feel was a better price. If you're thinking of getting one I'd definitely go with the 15.6 Portal +.

Bought this so I could video chat with my kids so I could see my new grandbaby. The picture is clear and the sound quality is great. So much nicer than looking at them on my phone screen.
