Seems to work pretty well wish the interface set up a little more user-friendly. It would be really nice if the live signal that went into the box streamed the same resolution as it came in instead of 720

Hooked up the outdoor antenna to it scanned the channels and there was my local channels and the guide to flip thru them . Having 4 tuners makes recording multiple channels nice. replay to the fire stick was easy the channels show up on the main screen . i can watch live tv or recorded shows away from home it was nice to watch local news while at the beach . Some what pricey , but when was on sale for $100 off i had to get it .

Got so sick of the high cost of cable but my wife wanted to be able to record her shows. So this was the solution. Its great but I had to run the antenna to the roof to get a good signal for all the channels. It also has a channel guide like cable. It also includes Pluto TV which has a bunch of channels. It has been well worth tje money!

great dvr. can stream live and recorded tv to phone. one feature I hope they add later - setup future recordings from phone (it can record shows that are currently on)

I bought this as a back up to our satellite DVR. It works awesome!! So glad we got this. I really like the menus and all of the functions. You can set up series, change start and stop times, even see all upcoming shows when you select one show on the guide. Pretty convenient. I would definitely recommend; especially if you’re a cord cutter. Just something about free tv when you own the DVR.

I love this DVR for over the air TV! I have had different solutions over the years with the Tivo, homerun, and Tablo....this is easier to setup and maintain. Plus....after the upfront cost, it is free unlike the other options that make you pay for a service or guide.

Records shows and keeps them available to watch whenever you want. Has recorded flawlessly for months. If playback gets a little slow or not what you expect - just reboot the Fire TV stick that the recast is linked to - I have to do that every month or so.

I really like this DVR. It only works via the Firetv device or the FireTV app. It Recast actually boosts the antenna signal so the channels I get through my antenna are really clear and sharp. I also love that I can watch the recordings or live tv from any room in the house or from the various devices with the FireTV app with every tv needing a physical connection to the antenna.

This over the air DVR integrates with all pfy streaming services and apps when utilizing the FireTV. It is great!!!! Waiting 4 more months for my Satellite commitment to end and then the cut will be cut!

Setup up your antenna appropriately and this works great. Have had it for around a year and would never look back paying for cable. Works well with the Fire stick and an addition to streaming services.

This Fire Recast is a life saver. I use it to record all of my local programs. Now that I have time on my hands because of Covid I don’t miss any programs.

I was fed up with the outrageous prices that my cable company charged, so I cut the cord. This is a DVR that you can use to record over-the-air programs. So you'll also need a digital antenna to do that. It takes a while to get used to the interface, but the savings over cable are great!

The recast exceeded my expectations. I can watch local channels and recorded programs on multiple devices all over th house. It has made it son much easier to watch and manage local tv.

Works good with fire sticks and Cubes. Does mess up every so often but still worth it when bought on sale.

I have been impressed with the Amazon Recast. It has allowed me to record over the air television with an outdoor HD antenna flawlessly without subscription fees. I have this paired with a Fire Cube and a FireTV and they both interact flawlessly.

Fairly simple to use, even for the older crowd. Paired with a good antenna this can pretty much replace cable and satellite when combined with streaming services. Great deal when on sale. If you are already into the Amazon system, you can't really go wrong with this.

We are in the process of cutting the cord from cable/satellite providers and bought the recast DVR so we could continue recording shows. We almost never watch a show live. We also bought an inexpensive HDTV antenna and together they work very well.

Fire TV recast works smoothly with the Fire TV 4K firestick. Easy to setup recording of your ota programming. Also has a good program guide for ota programming. With the 4 tuner dvr, it's easy to record and watch your programming at the same time.
