This FireStick DVR was easy to setup and use. It connected to the fire sticks with no problems.

We cut the cord so we added this to get the local channels not available on our new provider, works perfect and easy to setup.

The Fire TV Recast is one of the best DVR's on the market today. Programming is easy and familiar. The TV guide is free and makes scheduling a piece of cake. My only complaint is that it isn't compatible with my nVidia Shield. I use most of my streaming apps on the shield, which is superior to the Fire TV Stick, so now I have to switch between the two devices depending on what I want to watch.

Monetizing OTA DVR service. Ugh. This thing was over kill lots of features. For me not really useful and it was very expensive. Went with a tablo DVR instead

needed a whole home dvr, and this was a perfect fit.

APP NEEDS TO BE UPDATED FOR IOS 13. Initially I tried to set up with iPhone. It didn’t work, so I had to use my iPad which then worked. After that it worked great with fire tv. I only wish that I could schedule recordings in the app.

This is awesome.so convenient now we can record our favorite over the air shows all for free.we have officially cut the cord.

If you want to use an HD Antenna and the added feature of a DVR and a Channel Guide, then this product is for you.

I am so glad I got this recast! I finally was able to cut the cord from optimum who seem to be raising my prices every year even with a 2 year promo locked in price - they continued to raise the price. I highly recommend you cut the cord too. I got it at a good price and at the same time Best buy price matched from their own store price a few days later.

Getting 70+ channels with a basic indoor antennae. Can't wait to runt his thing with a bigger longer range antennae. Might end up getting rid of cable completely. Streaming to other devices including mobile phones was smooth and very easy. zero to no buffering.

Recast & my antenna made it possible for me to dump cable & still watch my local tv shows without commercials.

I bought this item as a test to see if I can drop cable, but at this point, it's not possible as I can't get ABC OR CBS on my antenna even though I live withing the range. It's not bad though to hook it up in other rooms where you don't watch tv to often or it's good enough for the in laws.

This was a great supplement to my cord cutting strategy. It integrates so well with my Fire TVs, it was a no brainier to give it a try. Signal and available channels, of course, depend on the antenna you get and, more so, your physical location but I’m getting about 60 extra channels and I use it daily for my main news stations.

Definitely opt for the 1 terabyte but great product
