I have high blood pressure and I have been trying to lose weight...so I try to monitor how much walking i actually do at work....I have the stepz app on my phone....it's fairly accurate...But I have to keep it in my pocket...and I have to turn the app on and off when I'm driving...so I decided to buy the fit bit...I love it...I knew I wasn't sleeping well...but I am amazed at how little sleep I am getting....even when I think I am getting a full night sleep....and with the fit bit i don't have to worry about turning any app on or off....unless I am montering my sleep....the stairs reading is fairly accurate....for me it is off at times...but that is only because I have knee problems at this time so I walk up and down the stairs at a very slow pace which the fit bit can not always pick up on....which also another reason I purchased the fit bit....to track how many trips I make up and down the stairs at home and at work....I highly recommend the fit bit...the app you download to your phone or iPad is also a great help....I love that I can track my water and food intake....battery life is pretty good...I charge about once a week....but I sleep with my fit bit on...

I purchased this one for my son. It was a replacement for another brand activity bracelet. He says this one is more accurate and he likes the heart rate feature. He is getting used to not having the text message feature on this one and hopes Fitbit will include this in future models. We enjoy partnering with our other Fitbit friends!

Got to a store early on a Friday morning, to ensure I could find one, as it was the only store that showed stock. Good thing I did, as 2 other guys came after me to get one, and there was only one left! Works exactly as I expected it to, pretty accurate, and easy to use!

If you buy the product make sure you purchase the warranty. It's works well, but could stop charging or the band break. Both happened to me, but it's great that I've the extended warranty. Great product for tracking your steps + sleep.

I got this mainly because of the name brand Fitbit seems to be the go to brand everyone mentions. I used Jawbone 24 and since it didn't have HR, I really thought the Fitbit charge HR would be the perfect thing. I was wrong. First I quickly realized I don't need to see a display on the band. the info is limited to just a number and not as fun nor informative as looking at the phone app. I also found the importance of having a heart rate monitor diminish shortly after using it for 2 days. Initially it seemed really cool to be able to know what my HR was upon waking up in the morning or during the middle of the day. But believe me, after checking your HR a couple days, its not a big deal anymore. And having the clock function on the band really is not so important as I wear a watch and my phone displays time. In reference to the usefulness, the sleep tracking is not accurate as compared to Jawbone UP. For example, I knew that I woke up twice to use the bathroom but Fitbit showed that I was in deep sleep all night. I even woke them together one night to test their accuracy and for sure Fitbit was way off. And for tracking steps, it is way off, it thinks I am moving way more than I was compared to both the Jawbone and my iPhone. Regards to comfort, it is somewhat like wearing a watch to sleep because of the band's buckle. So while it fits securely on my wrist, it's not so comfortable to wear to sleep at night. What's interesting that as far as looks, when I wore the Fitbit, no one seem to have noticed or mentioned about it but when I wore the Jawbone UP, I got many compliments and several people said, "hey that looks cool, is it a FITBIT?" So looks wise, the Jawbone is no doubt the more attractive band. Finally as for the phone app, it has a nice pleasant lay out but I felt that it is too simple and plain. In conclusion, due inaccuracies, and not so comfortable, and less attractive, I cannot recommend the FITBIT.

Really like the FITBIT Charge. Yes you could always carry around a notebook and a pedometer to track your results but this makes it effortless. I am impressed at how accurate the Sleep Tracking is on this. I have discuss with other friends other activity trackers and we all agree, this is one of the BEST!

This is my first Fitbit. I waited because I wanted the HR monitor feature. I have found this to be a great tool for tracking my activity and exercise (primarily running). I highly recommend this Fitbit. The only reason I'm not giving it an Excellent rating is because I have nothing else to compare it to.

The sync process to my laptop is quick and easy - my daughter sync's to her phone with the same quick results. Never knew how many times my sleep was "restless" - good to know, and to track through the week. The heart monitor functionality is revealing, and changes based on my activity-level or when I just drank some coffee, etc.

So far I love my Fitbit Charge HR. They are very difficult to find but I stalked many websites before finally ordering one through Best Buy and having it shipped to the store (faster than to my home.) I've had it for about 48hrs and so far I like it! The only thing I don't like has to do with my phone and I am still working on it. It did think I was sleeping while watching a movie last night but I wasn't moving around much and was relaxed. I just deleted it off of my dashboard. Easy peasy. The band is very flexible and isn't uncomfortable to wear at all. They do recommend wearing it one finger above your wristbone and 2-3 while exercising. You might want to take that into consideration when deciding on a size. I went with Large (6.3-7.8") because the small is 5.5-6.5" and mine measured right at 6.5" I am glad I went with a large because the small would have probably been tight. It is a lot less bulky than the Polar FT4 I used to wear.

Both my husband and I have the Fitbit Charge HR. We have found it to be a great fitness tool. Keeps you aware of your activity level and the data provides motivation to be more active. The sleep tracker is great and allows me to see how my actions or food i eat affect my sleep. We would both highly recommend this fitness tracker.

I bought the Charge HR after losing my second Flex because the HR has a band that fastens like a watch band. This Fitbit is not waterproof so you have to remember to take it off before showering. My HR developed trouble syncing with my desktop after about a week and after two would not sync at all and showed the wrong date and time. After extensive research and trying all of the solutions on the Fitbit forums I called support. The tech had me repeat all of the solutions on the forum unsuccessfully and then told me he would expidite my case to someone higher up and that I should wait for an e-mail. Over two weeks later and no response. I called back and asked for a supervisor. Later that day they got back to me by e-mail with instructions on how to reset my HR to factory specs. Two weeks now and it is syncing fine.

This device is great for tracking steps, sleep and heart rate. It might not be 100% accurate, but when comparing it to itself such as what you did the previous day, it works really well. Highly recommend to others

I highly recommend this Fitbit for the HR feature. It is helpful for those just getting started and not in the best shape. I had a Fitbit one before and I like the dashboard features including HR. The only con is that it is not as comfortable to sleep in and I like to keep track of sleep as well.

Pluses: In addition to all other fitbit features, the Heart Rate monitor is great if you are training for marathon. Syncs well with iphone Can do better :App and watch do not have much customization - e.g heart rate monitor turns off on app during activity. Watch keeps switching off to save battery.

My husband has had his Fitbit for about a month and so far it has been a terrific motivator/reminder to be more active. He uses his step counts to gauge his activity level and the sleep tracker has been a neat feature to analyze sleep patterns. It seems to be pretty accurate and it's definitely gotten him going. He's lost 3 lbs so far!

After reading reviews and comparing against similar products, I decided on Fitbit. Best decision this year! I'm still learning all the things you can do, but I am very happy so far. I only wish I would have bought one sooner; having the ability to track steps, calories, etc, has really given me incentive to get back into shape!

I have had my Fit Bit Charge HR for about a month now and I love it! I wanted something with the ability to track my steps, distance, and my heart rate that didn't have a chest strap. I love the fitness app, too.

Works great and keeps you up to date on your heart rate. Battery needs a charge every couple days when using the heart monitor continually. The sleep tracker is a nice feature. Syncs to my iPhone with no issues. I am not sure how it compares to the other brands but when on sale is a good buy.
