I waited for about 6-8 months and read reviews after reviews on almost all of the different brands; Nike, Garmin, and other Fitbit trackers...I finally settled and took a chance with the Charge HR and I am very pleased. Love how I am able to shower with it, but mainly impressed with how it accurately tracks my heart rate, steps I've taken each day, and the amount of sleep including detailed sleep patterns. This little device motivates me to get up every day to hit the gym just so I can achieve my goals! I'm able to compete with my sister in law who also has one and lives in North Carolina (I'm on West Coast)!!!! I've had it pretty much for two months and haven't had any problems at all! Overall, great device!

This device has worked well for me. It stays charged for a decent amount of time and warns me by email once the battery is low. I have been impressed with how it syncs not only with my phone, but also with my laptop if I have the USB dongle inserted. This device provides great information on steps taken, calories burned, heart beats per minute, and the amount of sleep per day. It is durable and I have not had any issues with it at all. It was a great purchase!

This fitbit makes you more Concious of your activity. You can challenge friends and compare steps or even have contests. My dad has one too so we constantly try to beat each other. I've noticed doing more just by wearing it because it hold you accountable for how lazy you're being or makes you feel proud because you had a lot of activity. The charts are easy to understand. It's easy to use, easy to set up, and easy to read. Buy it. You won't regret it. I also think it's pretty acurrate. I'm a Nurse and I occasionally check to make sure the heart rate is accurate and its always spot on!! Bonus- fitbit has really awesome customer service. Just keep your receipt. Even if it's out of your best buy geek squad protection, fitbit will help.

I've been a Fitbit fan for a good 4 years already. My last fitbit bit the dust after 2 years of use. I decided to go with the Charge HR for the additional heart rate monitoring. Along with activity monitoring, I also use it for the vibrating alarm clock (wakes me up without waking my wife), and the caller ID display. The only drawback is I have to charge it around every 3-4 days instead of the 8-9 days with my old Force. The band is much better on this model. The clip band on the Force kept falling off. Overall, the weight and size is just right and doesn't get in the way of my clothing. It does seem to be a little sensitive to movement for displaying the clock, so I recommend wearing something over it if going to the movies, since it does shine pretty brightly.

This is my second Fitbit that I have, upgrading from the basic Fitbit Charge. The HR is much sturdier and provides the same features as the regular Charge. The latch on this Fitbit provides a stronger and better fit for your wrist. Additionally, the heartbeat sensor is pretty useful to pinpoint the workout areas where you are burning fat and having a good exercise. This is from the app, and more information can be obtained their. If firemds have Fitbit, you are able to challenge each other and see who can take the most steps, miles in a day etc. plenty of options to choose from. It will bring that competitive drive in you with the more friends you have. It is easy to clean, charge and provides a smooth contact to the skin.

I purchased this Fitbit to track how many steps I take. I picked this color because it was on sale. I had previously purchased a different one at another store that seemed to could steps while I was sitting at Drs office with my child. This one is much more accurate. Also tells you heart rate and tracks sleep. Who knew I slept so little?! It tells you how many times you are wrestlers during the night and how often you wake up. It connects to the app and you can do challenges by yourself or Connect with others. Also connects to WW app. I used it a few days then husband said he wanted to try it and has not given it back since. He loves seeing that he does over 20,000 steps at work and how much of that is at increased heart rate. Not only does it track steps but also how often in an hour you moved and how much movement etc (with app). Cons: If you are on treadmill and hold on to bars, since your arm is not moving it does not count your steps. Also if you are a mom and pushing a stroller :(. So, then you can put it on ankle or something else. If you shake your hand a lot it counts it as steps (my son tried this). But, all those trackers in any brand do that. Great buy for being on sale and you.can use a Best Buy coupon with it too! It tells you the time and other things too and is bright in the dark of you press the button.

I got a Fitbit for my wife and on, an impluse, decided to get one for myself as well. We got the Charge HR. --I have been a runner for over 35 years but thought is would be good to know my hear rate when I''m outside on unfamiliar terrain or traveling. I also liked the idea of keeping more accurate track of my distances when I'm not on a treadmill. --To my pleasant surprise, the Fitbit was very comfortable, easy to take care of and the e-mail alerts, when the battery is low, make it a snap to know when to recharge. Also, being able to see graphics of my workouts was fun. --I really like the trim look and plum color. I wear it more than just when I'm working out. All in all a very useful addition to my workouts which really helps keeping me motivated to work out when my energy flags. When I'm not sure I want to run or not, the idea of seeing a big drop off in my graphics gives me a kick in the pants and I get over the hump and get out there and run.

My husband and I both purchased one of these as part of our effort to lose weight and improve our health. Using it along with calorie tracker apps (that coordinate with this very nicely) we have been able to do both over the past 3 months. It is easy to use and provides useful data at the press of a button. Both my husband and I were right on the measurement border for the size that they recommend you purchase, both of us bought the smaller size, and both are glad we did. The one criticism that I have is that the "window" that you see your values through is plastic and therefore scratches. This needs to be made of a higher quality substance that won't scratch.

Been with fitbit brand for 2 years now and this so far is the best tracker. I now have 5 family members with it. The tracker does over track if you move your arm while sitting down and moving lets say to get a remote it tracks about 2 extra steps. When driving I take it off to avoid over tracking. I also noticed that When driving on hills the tracker also picks it up as I am doing floors and at the end of the day I have done maybe 3 floors but says I did 23 floors. again not perfect but then again what tracker is? Like the calling feature since I don't need to look at my phone. My wife got the small version (see pictures) and its really small compared to the large. she has on the 3RD to last hole and i have it set up on the 7th to last. (see pictures)

I spoke to a few friends who swore to me that I'd love the Fitbit. I must tell you they are right! Easy to use, it tracks everything I'd want it to. I was a little worried that the novelty would wear off, but I've had mine for a month and I'm very pleased. I've told my friends about it and 2 of them have purchased and now "compete" with me on a daily basis. Want to get off the couch? Get a Fitbit!

I had the Jawbone UP 24 & thought that was the best. Had continual problems with it, due to water mostly and finally moved to the Fitbit Charge and LOVE it! Although I do have the following "issues": Needs charging every 4 or 5 days (UP 24 lasts 14 day) and sleep records are too weird and hard to understand. I do not think there is a better device currently on the market or I would get it!

I was in a situation where doctors were changing medications on me. I also had one prescription that got cooked in the mail box. By observing the average heart rate I was able to understand what medicine had what effect. I have thing straightened out in ways that would not have been possible without the information I got from the HR.

I love the fitbit charge hr. It does everything it is supposed to do. It's very accurate with the heart rate, that was one of my concerns. The only thing is I hate to take it off to charge it lol. I feel like I'm missing steps when I do that.

Good product for tracking steps, stairs and active time but limited in exercises tracked. I ride a stationary bike 4 days a week and no provision for recording this exercise. Also the resting heart rate does not seem to ever fluctuate
