I got the Flex 2 since I do water aerobics and it will work in water. The display is on my iPhone only. The initial one got hung during setup and would not proceed because the devices weren't talking to each other. Took it to the Geek Squad and they could not get it to work either. Had to get a replacement which went through setup perfectly. Love it!

I like my new fitness tracker, but even with the majority of the "notifications" set to "off", the rechargeable battery still depletes very quickly. Mine usually lasts 2-3 days before having to recharge. Also not having a printable manual provided with your purchase makes it a bit hard to decipher all of the notification lights.

I have had the original fitbit flex and tried to upgrade to their alta version. I was never able to get that to connect to my phone etc. So I decided to go back to the Flex because it was so easy. The Flex 2 is great because it is a little sleeker than the original Flex and I really appreciate the fact that the Flex 2 is waterproof. It recognizes more exercises and the alerts are subtle enough to not interrupt meetings etc.

I feel like this would be perfect for anyone who wants the basics of a step counter. The app is also very useful as it works with many other workout/health/weight apps.

Overall, I have been pleased with this Fitbit product. It is the first fitness tracker I have tried, but it does everything I need it to do EXCEPT tracking heart rate. It syncs well with my Samsung Galaxy phone using the Fitbit app. The only weird thing just happened today, after wearing this for about three weeks. The app congratulated me for 26 minutes on the elliptical when I was nowhere near the machine. Hmmmm.

It tracks my health data pretty well including sleep cycles. It does NOT include heart rate data. Also there isn't even a clock on it, so if I wanted a time I'd need to wear a watch AND this which is awkward. The app is super cool I'd recommend one of the upgraded versions for a full health experience.

I wanted a simple fitness tracker with not too many bells and whistles. The Fitbit Flex2 fit the bill perfectly. The app was easy to set up. It helps to hold me accountable for what I eat and how much I move. Just wearing it keeps me motivated, and the reminders keep me moving. Lost a little weight the first 2 weeks of wearing it, but most importantly, felt better emotionally as well as physically.

I already regularly use the FitBit Ulta so I had a little learning curve in order to get the Flex2 in sync with my Ulta. I have to just sync the Ulta prior to using the Flex 2, then sync the Flex 2 before putting the Ulta back on. I do this in different rooms in order to keep the information correct on my dashboard. Water doesn't seem to bother this at all. Haven't tried it in saltwater.

I bought two of these for my wife and I for Christmas. It gave us something to compete with, steps and active time that can be compared and monitored through your smartphone. It motivated us to be more active and held us accountable if we were getting a little to lazy that day. Be careful with how you wear the bracelet, though. The tracker can pop out if you choose to wear it on your belt like I did for a while.
