My wife had 'worn out' a number of simple pedometers and wanted something without a lot of unneeded bells and whistles. This does all she needs; from walks and biking to swimming and the exercise machines at the Y.

Small, very comfortable, and easy to sleep in. My husband also has one and when we compare sleep times they seem to be very accurate.

I didn't need the $100+ Fitbits with HR capabilities. I'm a new mom just trying to get back into the gym and wanted to track my steps and have the calorie counter. I also wear watches regularly and didn't need a Fitbit with a watch. So this fit the bill and is at a good price. The nice thing is that it is water proof, so I don't have to worry about it when doing dishes or giving my baby a bath. For this price point, I wouldn't mind upgrading in the future if I need the capabilities.

I am interested in reviewing my weight, steps, food intake, etc... So I picked up this item. I have to admit at first I wasn't sure it would be that useful. I am happy to say I was wrong. This have given me all kinds of good information allowing me to change some of my habits to live healthier yet not so much to hurt my way of life. I have had another competing device that didn't do near what this one did. I also have a watch that doesn't work as well as this either. So here are my stars for this device.

My daughter loves tracking her steps as well as sleep. She’s going to bed on time. The swim option is a plus.

I have been using the Fitbit trackers for about 3 years now. I have had the Fitbit One, Flex, Charge HR, Blaze, and Flex 2. I wear the Blaze every day as my main tracker. I picked up the Flex 2 to wear while swimming laps and if I am going somewhere I want a smaller tracker. It does its job well. I prefer to have a heart rate sensor for my walking, running, and other workouts. However, with the Flex 2 I am able to track my fitness in wet environments so I don't have to risk my more expensive Blaze.

I originally purchased the Flexbit 2 to start tracking my swims. I swim 3-4 days a week and have found that it is usually off between 75-150 yds each time. When I switch it to track 50 meter swims, it has been way off. The other strange thing is that every morning when I wake up I check it and it usually says that I have already burned between 300 & 490 calories. As for the fit and comfort, I love it. I have never been able to wear any kind of jewelry to bed but this one I do and have no issues.

This Flex 2 is the fourth Fitbit device I have had in the last three or four years. I purchased this one because the last one stopped charging. I have come to learn that these devices only last about a year. That said, it is still, as far as I know, the most accurate of the devices on the market. I also like the band that you have with it rather than the watch like band on other models of Fitbit and other brands. I would probably recommend it but would explain the experiences I have had.

This is a great product for what it is. It's simple and minimalist and counts my steps. The only reason why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they claim a 5 day battery life but it's closer to 2 (and I have most of the bells and whistles turned off to preserve battery life). The truth of the matter is that I don't need better battery life, I'm just upset that I was sold on 5 days and get substantially less. To keep the 2 days of battery life, turning off "all day sync" is a must.

I wanted a simple fitness reminder/encourager for my kids to not only record their activities so they could celebrate them, but also to 'tap' them on the shoulder when they weren't moving enough. This Flex 2 has been perfect. While they might have wished for a screen to look at, this one has been the best choice as they can play as rough as they want, sweating and all that jazz, and it doesn't affect their Fitbit. Great choice for people who want a simple fitness option without all the fuss.

I bought this for my wife so that she could track her swimming in addition to her walking and running. It does this (as long as you are not doing kickboard: obviously no credit if you are not moving your arms), but I highly question the calorie burn data she is getting. I find it hard to believe that she burns as many calories when swimming for 40 minutes that she does when walking for 40 minutes. The swimming calorie burn seems too low. Other than that, it works great!
