I purchased this because of a walking program my employer does that saves you money on insurace if you track your steps for a certain amount of days. I chose this pedometer for two reasons. 1. It has a digital display so I can see how many steps I have taken 2. I can wear it hooked inside my pants pocket. Since I work in a factory I can't wear jewelry or anything around my wrist/ankles. So this allows me to meet my jobs safety requirements. Reasons I love it. 1. It tracks every step I take, unlike some pedometers that won't start counting until you have taken fifteen steps or more. 2. The fitbit app I downloaded to my S6 phone is very useful to track diet, exercise, ect. The only thing I don't care for is it is one of the few pedometers that won't sync with the SHealth app.

The FitBit One tracks everything! Stairs, steps, sleep. The new wrist ones do not track stairs. I have been using one over a year and it has really helped me to track my weight and get more fit. I just bought a second as a gift. Love the ability to track food intake with MyFitnessPal and it syncs flawlessly with the Fitbit. I wish it came in colors or had another type of dongle. I mostly keep mine in my pocket. I also wish it came in a waterproof casing - but alas, maybe these will be the next new things to add to it. I love my One!

I bought the Fitbit-One because I work a desk job and I wondered if I had really fallen into the sedentary lifestyle. It has tracked my steps, exercise, stairs climbed and active minutes. It can also track sleep and exercise if you want to enter that info, but I do not. This has been a real eye opener into my active or not so active lifestyle. I have found the Fitbit-One to last up to two weeks on a single charge since I only sync with my cell every day or two. It has fun emails about goals you have reached. It cost a bit more than some of the others, but for the past two months has been a good motivator.

Got this tracker after hearing many positive comments about it. It was very easy to set up and use. Rewarding to see how many steps I take in my normal daily activities and it motivates me to take more steps to reach my goal.

I use it daily. It's perfect for what I need it for. It syncs to my phone and is discreet. I wear it on my pocket and never have a problem with it falling off. I thought maybe it would be an issue that it wasn't in a bracelet form but I actually don't have any regrets at all.

Fitbit is a great way to track the steps you take each day. It also tracks the stairs you take. It also tracks your sleep patterns you can compare your steps with others in competition if you like. I love my Fitbit!

This is my second fitbit and the new features are amazing. Love the sync with my Galaxy S5 and notifications on the day's progress. The light weight design and very secure clip lets me forget about it as I work and move around.

Great upgrade from my Fitbit Zip

I'd been using a Fitbit Zip for some time and appreciate the information it provided about my activity. It had two routine problems, regular need for a $6 battery replacement and occasional failure to connect to my smartphone. For my birthday, I purchased myself a Fitbit One. It's rechargeable battery goes for over a week without needing a recharge and I don't need any more $6 batteries. Also, my occasional sync issues have disappeared. The only sync problem I had was fixed by restarting my smartphone once. The One provides more tracking information than the zip as well. It's clearly worth the extra $40 or so in purchase price over the zip. Fitbits also sync with my nutrition app, Lose It! so it's a win-win solution for nutrition and activity tracking.

So happy with my Fitbit One. It is easy to set up and use and really does motivate me to walk more, take the stairs and just be more active in general. It does get confused when you drive, ride in a bus, train or subway, and you have to tell it you have done those things because otherwise your tracking, especially floors (stairs), will be off. But otherwise, I have found it accurate and really fun to use. I sync it with a Mac and also the iPhone app. Both work really well and have lots of tracking and data gathering capability.

    Activity Tracker That Works GREAT

Often the activity trackers don't work in one way or another. But this one charges properly, tracks activities properly, tracks sleep properly and also is great where many others fail in that it syncs reliably with your cell phone. There is an app to review data both on the phone or via you PC, and it is excellent. If your PC has Bluetooth, you won't need to attach the dongle that came with this device to a USB port. My wife loves it and she has had 3 others that were inferior. This one costs a little more, but well worth the price. She wears it at night via the included elastic strap and clips it on during the day via the included silicone clip. Although she doesn't like to wear it on her wrist, there is an available wrist band.

I am thrilled with how this little device has motivated me to get to my 12,000 step goal every day. In order to reach my goal, I find myself getting up and walking more during the work day and at night, instead of sitting around watching TV, I get on the treadmill and walk to get in any needed steps to achieve my daily goal. Compared to the Flex, but like that all of the information is available on the screen of the One. I also love the small size and I carry it around in my pocket all day. I am very happy with this purchase.

I bought this for my wife for a Christmas present. She was asking for a fitness tracker to help her get motivated. This has been perfect for her and it does well more than just tracks steps. She loves the fitbit website and mobile app. It counts calories for her steps, distance, flights of stairs climbed and more. She has already dropped 4 lbs and it has not even been a month. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a little bit of motivation to take more steps to being a little more active.

For those who want to track everything this product gives you the opportunity. If you are a person who does stairs this is a great way to track this activity. No other device can. It is easier to wear than you might think.

This is my third Fitbit. The first one was recalled. The second one got soaked in my pool. I don't want to go without one. It makes me more active and causes me to challenge myself to walk and get my steps in daily.

I've used the One for over 2 years now. I recently gave my first one to my boyfriend as I wanted to upgrade to the Charge HR. I found the wearable Charge HR and the Flex to be inaccurate for me. I MUCH prefer the One over a wrist wearable so I returned both the Charge HR and the Flex to purchase another One. Device is small; has a screen that displays your activity so you can tell if it's not syncing with your phone; relies on torso/hip movement rather than arm; device isn't meant to be full waterproof but I accidently ran my first One through the washer twice and it still works!

Overall, I'm very happy with my Fitbit One. I previously had a Fitbit Ultra, but it stopped taking a charge or registering data on its base. This happened with three bases. However, I loved how it worked when it worked, so I decided to get the Fitbit One. It just plain does almost everything it says it does accurately. It's very compact and unobtrusive. I like being able to quickly check my progress through the day. The dashboard on the website is nice and easy to use. I have a Withings scale that sends my weight data to my computer and my Fitbit Dashboard links to that. Circumstances haven't made me test its water resistance yet, but I like that it has that feature. I had sweat pool in the clip of my Ultra a couple of times that made it act poorly until it fully dried out. I always worried that it might fry completely sometime. There's a Fitbit iPhone app that I haven't tried, but plan to. Two minor cons: When I wore the clip on my belt, the unit popped out of the clip five times over a period of about a month. Luckily, I noticed it each time. Now i clip it on my pocket with the unit on the inside of the pocket and it's stayed in place. Also, it doesn't seem to count flights of stairs as well as my Ultra did. There have been times that I've been doing work around the house, going up and down flights of stairs a half dozen times and had it only record one or two flights. That's not a bit concern to me, but it's a little irritating. My Ultra did that function better.

The Fit Bit One is great for my girlfriend. She loves it. It fits in the corner of her pocket and tracks all of her daily activities. We compete every day to see who can record the most steps. Great product!
