This was a gift for my wife. She loves it. She was with FITBIT for 5+years. She wanted a watch that was more technical with ability to make calls, as well as, have the ability to text from her watch. Being a teacher she was able to find tile features to help with her day to day requirements. Highly recommended.

I absolutely LOVE my new Fossil Gen 5e Smartwatch!!! This is my first smartwatch and never thought I'd own one because I didn't want another device to manage. However, when my trusted Seiko analog watch died earlier this year, I realized that my next watch should do a little more than telling time. As for its appearance, I love the subtle but definitely noticeable rhinestones around the face. The website photos do not show how beautiful they truly shine in person! I tried to capture the subtle bling in my photo. The silicone band is comfortable and seems sturdy enough but I expect it to get dirty sooner or later. I was initially on the fence about the rose gold face and buckle, as all of my jewelry are silver, but it definitely grew on me in the last few days. As for the setup, it was a bit clunky because I have an iPhone and I'm not used to using an Android app. Google's Wear OS app is just ok - the reviews are not great and I had an issue with my watch unable to reconnect, even though the Bluetooth was enabled. I googled (irony!) and found some tips to start everything from scratch (deleting the app and reset the watch to the factory settings). A bit time-consuming but it seems to stay connected for now - fingers crossed! The watch itself is surprisingly light-weight. My old Seiko was men's, so I'm used to a hefty watch. I definitely like the large face and having options to choose the style (and change it whenever I like). The battery life is not very long - about 24 hours as stated in the specs - but it charges fast with the enclosed magnetic USB charger. I was surprised that Best Buy didn't carry a screen protector for this particular model. I wish Zagg made it because that's my go-to brand but they seem to carry the one that's compatible for men's size only. I ended up buying a pack of 3 glass protectors from another e-tailer at a very reasonable price, so I won't have to worry about getting scratches. Overall, this is a great smartwatch and it will make a very nice gift for yourself or someone who loves to bedazzled!

I'm not much of a watch person, but I wanted something that could track activity and being able to access notifications from my phone and being able to tell the time just felt like a bonus. All told, I really like it. Pros- The display is really clear, there are times that when looking at the standby screen I would almost think it is an old fashioned analog watch. The fitness tracker works really well. Google Pay works flawlessly with this (it works better than using my phone). It's a small thing, but with all things 2020 being what they are, the handwashing timer is actually really helpful. The battery can almost last two full days, even with fairly heavy usage. The gems and pink are flashy, I like to be a bit flamboyant (though, if flamboyant isn't your thing, you probably should go for the black one). This is probably the most comfortable watch that I've worn. Cons- It is true that this is the most comfortable watch I've worn, but as with all watches, there are problems. As you can tell in the pictures, it does rub and cause a bit of redness (that happens with me with every watch I own though, so that might be a me thing, that might be a watch thing in general). Overall it is a great watch. Honestly, if there was a way to make it so it doesn't rub and cause redness (I'm assuming that it would have to be an change to the wrist strap), this would be 5 stars with no complaints.

This is my first smartwatch and I'm very happy with the features it gives for a reasonable price. The reviews weren't kidding when they said the battery life is short. I've had my watch just one day now and it didn't even last from when I woke up to going to sleep without it switching to the extended battery saving mode (it was fully charged when I woke up). I didn't do anything crazy, just one workout, some notifications, and didn't make any phone calls through the watch, however the battery life drained very quickly throughout the day. I'm glad the watch automatically goes to the extended battery mode when the charge is getting low. I am really happy with the color, comfort of the band, screen display, watch face choices, and that it's waterproof for showering. I'm glad this watch has a speaker and the loudest volume isn't bad as long as you're not in a very noisy environment. The watch does seem a little slow at times (it takes just long enough that you wonder if it understood your command), however I'm okay with being patient because I'm happy with the style and features of the watch. I'm pleased I can take phone calls with the watch (without needing my iPhone to be nearby - I can go on a walk and still get notifications and such without brining my phone along). I'm also happy I can make calls and receive text messages through the watch as well. I was very disappointed and somehow missed during research that I can only RECEIVE text messages through the watch from my iPhone, I CANNOT reply to a text message through the watch. I look forward to purchasing future Fossil smartwatches that will hopefully have a longer battery life and be able to reply to text messages for those using an iPhone. I would recommend the watch if you're willing to deal with these little inconveniences.

This watch is great. Reading emails, text and accepting phone calls on the watch is great because the face is of a decent size. Reading messages on this watch is enjoyable because it is crystal clear. The battery life is of average life but I like the fact that there are options to reserve the battery life. Depending on if you going to be out all day and not be able to charge it, you have that option to extend the life. I would highly recommend this watch.

This smartwatch has a great build and structure. It is not heavy or cumbersome. It charges rather quickly and connecting to the smartphone was a breeze. The app store has plenty of choices for watch faces to personalize it. The speaker for taking and making calls is competent and clear enough for such a small electronic. Battery life is about 2 days so hopefully, in the future, this can be improved on.

The watch is great and is able to connect to my apple phone even though the watch is through google. The watch allows me to see when I get a text, Instagram message, emails, and Snapchats. I love that I am able to see how I slept for the night and how long. The watch monitors when I am in deep sleep or light sleep. I do recommend to order a screen protector because I have only had the watch for a few weeks and already chipped the screen protector. The watch monitors my heart rate every twenty minutes because I have anxiety and I wanted to monitor the times of the day my heart is racing. This drains the battery and I have to charge it daily.

Love the watch. It is very stylish and easy to use. However, the battery dies quickly. If you don't mind charging it, roughly everyday, then this is the perfect watch.

I miss my Fitbit but that has no warranty at the store so I wont buy it. The watch is always 10 minutes off which means I'm usually late. I have had it since December I am about ready to return it since its still under 1 year warranty. I really don't like returning things and thought I would get used to this watch but I really don't the battery life usually only last a day and half and then I forget to charge it and then its I have to resync they watch so its not 10 min off .

I love my watch. I haven’t honestly got too serious with the features on the google wear os. Essentially I have the ability to not only keep track of time, but also read/preview messages & scan important/spam calls quickly. I had some issues at first with the Bluetooth connection, but after some quick research I found the answer to my issues. I am currently working from home while taking care of my 3 kids. My hands are often full I find this watch to be a great tool throughout my day. I have recommended to several friends already & I have had the watch for 2 months.

Purchased this for my wife. We went in to get the Gen 6 for us both. My wife did not like the color of the Gen 6 as it only came in a flat purple color. She saw this and liked the pink band with rose gold crystal. She likes it so much only takes off to charge and shower. Charging is good from zero to full in 90 minutes. My wife uses the heart monitor and blood pressure check through out the day. She does not mind that it is running Wear 2.0. She does not utilize all the features as I do. As with my Gen 6 review would like to be able to get second charger to have when on the go.

So far this smartwatch does everything it's supposed to do, and it functions well. The battery does drain a little too fast, but turning the brightness down helps with that. The silicone band attracts dust and hairs - I always am pulling off dog hairs from the band. Other than that, it's fantastic. I mostly use it for the step counter and the "find my phone" feature. The mic is *great* - fiance says he can hear me better through the watch than through my phone (google pixel 4a). So, there ya go!

I absolutely love this thing. I don't ever wish it did more than it does. It's super user friendly. Very durable, I'm constantly moving product/shelves/tables and have knocked a few times and it is still perfect. Only thing is, a full battery usually lasts me about 8-9hours. But it charges back up very quickly. I love it.

The watch was an eye candy when I saw it online. Once I had received it more beautiful than the picture it displayed. Easy to download app and set up watch. Helps keep track of steps heart rate breathing and so much more love it. The only thing is I had to return it because after a few days it never connected to my Bluetooth phone. I could receive and see the calls but couldn't answer it. Had to continue phone call on phone instead of watch. Come to find out it's not compatible with my TracFone LG such a bummer
