I speak Spanish but my wife doesn't, so I got this for her while we traveled to Guatemala and Honduras this summer. It was very helpful for learning new words but I think I ended up using it more than she did! We got it because of the "common phrases" it offered to have and hoped my wife could type in a phrase and have it translated but the phrases were already set. Some were helpful but many we had no need for. Because of that, I give it a 4 out of 5 star rating. That feature is not all it's talked up to be on the box. If you don't speak Spanish and want it to help you to speak broken Spanish on a trip, find a better translator! We found many better(similar to the Google Translate phone app) online but didn't have time to wait for shipping so we tried this out. But if you are like me and have a good Spanish vocabulary but want something for an occasional quick word lookup, it's a great electronic dictionary.

It doesn't have proper lighting or zoom in options.

Great, very easy to use and read, helpful finding words to proper use.

This product is incredibly hard to navigate and spelling is important. If you know an English word and want the Spanish word it is nearly impossible to know what the true meaning is or to find it. Spanish to English is a bit easier but not much.

Unit is very nice still trying to learn how to use it

was looking for an electronic dictionary, but is not comprehensive enough an sales person had no clue.

For the price of this unit, it was not worth the purchase. It is not user friendly, and from the other three translators I have , it does not do as much.

It was so easy to find the product even though it was thanksgiving night and so fast to pay. It was grat I was able to pay right at the point where I got my product!

Great for my sister to help her translate to English.
