It's good for what it does and you can't beat the price. They sound transmitted sounds good and only time you hear static is when something is on the same station and you need to switch. The one touch station scan makes it so much easier then have to look for stations to put it on for the best sound. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a FM transmitter

I settled on this FM transmitter after getting a new car (that doesn't have Bluetooth or an aux port, just a CD player). I ruled out all of the devices that used batteries. Thought about some rechargeable ones... but ended up ruling them out too. This Scosche works like a dock: you have to plug your phone into it, and the volume buttons on the phone don't work anymore, the stereo takes over. Phone charges when it's hooked up. It has worked perfectly for me, and I saved some money by doing an Amazon price-match inside my local Best Buy store. The only potential negative to consider... is it sticks out kinda far (see photo). And the flex-neck doesn't really hold in place very well, so it kinda settles back to a less bent position. It won't hold firm if you bend it in an extreme way. Works fine for my car, but I could see it being an issue, depending on how yours is laid out. Sound quality is totally fine with me. I was surprised with how much full-sounding bass came through. Two thumbs up!

After buying the item I didn’t think the sound quality or the use of it would be great. I was wrong on my judgement for this not only met my expectations but also blew it away for me. I’m now able to charge my phone while it automatically syncs to my phone to play my music. Very user-friendly and I have no trouble with it after using it for 4 month straight, it still hold up well. The item did come with a remote which is a nice feature but I rarely use it so it was sorta a waste in my opinion but good if you don’t want to touch your phone while driving.

I had recently bought a daily driver that does not have AUX or anything to listen to my music so after some research came across FM Transmitters which have a bad reputation but it's 2017 it has to be improved right? Well at first it didn't want to fit my cigarette lighter hole thing but once I jammed it, it felt snug and could be easily pulled out if wanted so. I only use through the USB input which connect to Apple devices only (if I'm correct) and it sounded great, many reviews complained about a hissing sound or static which I didn't come across until a couple days later. Realized that hissing only comes across when I turn A/C on or driving fast and the rpm's go up then hissing stops or lowers down to where it's not annoying. Also static comes along now and then but since I use this car mainly for work and stay for local drives I only need one station and it sounds good as for when I go out of town sometimes may need to switch to find a better station and that could possibly ruin quality. Many have complained about it breaking apart but mine has stayed in great shape I move it quite often as it tends to bend back in a straight shape and it bothers my reverse and park dongle thing on my car, don't see no problems so far. I don't have no experience on how the aux cable quality works with Androids as I don't use one. To sum it up, if you have an old car with no AUX capabilities and don't mind hearing static every now and use Apple iPhone (once again can't vouch for Andorid or Aux) then the quality on this is very good (looks cool in my opinion) and for the price can't complain, better than installing a pricier head unit on my car that looks ugly and flashy! +++++

Fairly simple transmitter. Allows you to charge and play our iPhone, podcast, etc at the same time. You should also be able to play any item with a headphone jack and charge another item via USB cord at same time; haven't tried this feature yet

Out of all the FM Radio Transmitters I've purchased throughout the years, this is by far the best! The sound quality is good and very easy to use. Would've rated a perfect 5/5 stars but it's kinda pricey. Still worth it tho.

I use this in my old Honda Civic, it sounds good with a bit of buzzing from the old car, but works great. It is great that it charges your phone using USB, or you can use an auxiliary cable.

This was an easy buy. I have an old car 2002 Lexus convertible and I wanted to listen to my XM radio and music on my phone. Plugged this in tuned to the station and walla it worked. Good investment

This was a Christmas gift for my mom. She was able to set this up on her own with no issues. So far she's enjoying it and it fit her needs. Definitely recommend for those with older cars or for an alternative to playing your iPhone/iPod in the car.

This is supposed to let you play songs in your car via wifi without being connected, but that did not work, maybe that is only for iPhones and I have Android. However, it works plugging the player into my phone. It works very well in fact. It had very clear sound with no static. Previous player I had, you could hear static in the background and it would sometimes go in and out, but this one does not. Very good to play songs in your car from your phone and also doubles as a car charger.

Glad this one can read music through the USB port, so no real need for an auxiliary chord with a phone. This also means it charges while playing music! I had one before that came with a chord already connected and was for my iphone4, so when it broke I couldn't continue to charge my phone by replacing the charger chord - this one makes it possible. I do wish that I could push fwd/bck on the device itself! For not having the most up to date console in my car, this has been working just fine.

4 stars instead of 5 only because their iPhone app doesn't work with it. Sound quality is great. Fm channel chooser always picks a nice clear station.

Pro: Strong signal, good volume. Does what a FM transmitter needs to do. Portable with internal batteries. Economically priced. Well made for the price Cons: Per provided instruction, the internal battery must be removed before it is plugged in to be vehicle powered (Did not try to plug in with batteries in place to see what would happen.). Does not retain settings when power is removed. Would recommend to a friend with caveat.

If this is your only option it works ok. Still static-y on most occasions but I've found that characteristic of most FM transmitters, not necessarily just this brand.

The product was very easy to use right out of the box. I use it with my iPhone to listen to music in my vehicle that does not have an aux system for being able to listen to your music through you're car speakers. And being able to plug my phone in and have it charge at the same time allows me to recharge my phone while listening to my music without running my battery down on my phone.
