very quiet. perfect for rooms

This air conditioner is quiet, and has remote control access to activate from bed. I had to increase the temp as this works more efficiently than my old one. Only issue I have is opening the cover to clean the filter but it is not too difficult.

This is one very cool Air Conditioner.

This powerful A/C kept the whole area, including bath, cool.as a cucumber, and did it very quietly. The one thing I highly recommend, if possible, is put it in a window on the shady side of the house. Seemed to work even better.

I find that it is a bit noisier than I'd like but it's being used in a small room. Seems to work fine and doesn't make a big sound when the compressor kicks on. One caveat. When turning the untit on its default goes back to economy mode. You must make sure it's on the cool setting if you want the fan to run continuously.

Luckily, we have a home warranty so almost everything was covered but it took about week for the equipment to arrive and then the installers arrived. There was no way we could go that long without a/c so we purchased this window model. Installation was quick and the unit cools our large family room just fine. I would buy again!
